Starting the boarding for the December Bus...

My history if anyone is interested:-

DS1 in October 2012. Started ttc for dc2 last September. Got BFP in the November but MC'd at 5 weeks.
Fast forward to July, got another bfp. Started bleeding on August Bank Holiday weekend and found out we had MMC at 11 weeks. Had ERPC a week later. 5 weeks later after still getting positive hpts, found out the ERPC had been completely unsuccessful and had to have whole bloody procedure again.

Anyway. Now got my first proper period after all the above bullshit and hoping for bfp on or before the 18th December

I didn't do any more OPKs after I got my +ve on Sunday... But FF has confirmed that day based on my temps so that's enough, right?! I can't stop thinking about it. Thank god it's so busy at work so I can obsess less during the day.

I do not feel pg at ALL. Last month I did and I wasn't. Somebody speed up the time.

I have no idea how long my luteal phase is. I really hope i am right that I ovulated on 10th. If I don't get either a bfp or a period I will be very confused!

Mimi, wracking my brain for a catch Xmas OV but so far you can choose between a slightly rude ref to all the DTD action - 'Festive F**kers' or the alternative which is more hopeful but arguably less catchy 'Festive Fertilizers'

spots sorry I clearly missed a few posts - don't think I can optimistically blame it on potential baby brain only being 4dpo... Anyhow great to hear you're POASFS too! Double figures! Whoop!

nene sounds like if your opk and temps match up you will be fine. It's my first months pre AF off the implant so I'm checking everyday; had 3 days positive opk 2.5 weeks ago but no noticeable temp spike, then positive opk on sat with a temp spike on the Sunday. Don't fancy my chances as only DTD 18hrs or so after seeing the opk but we live in hope... Your temps should confirm it for you though so fx for you.

When I was last pregnant GinandJazz I ovulated three days after my first positive opk, so if you think that was 72 hours and the egg lives for up to 24, then I think your 18 hours leave you with a chance.

Oh god, it really is a science. I should get DH involved with that side more. Make it all more worthwhile!

I know what you mean Gin. It's my first month and I'm trying to think of it as a practice run so I won't be disappointed in 10 days or so. Yet deep down I am so desperate for it to work first time!

Totally agree snow. DH keeps getting excited about it and I find myself saying things like 'well in a few months time we will know more about my cycles so let's just see' whilst furiously charting everything and being a closet crazy already...

There's nothing closet about my crazy but my dh knew that before he signed up lol.

I keep swinging from disappointment because I know the likelihood of this working in a year is probably tough let alone a month, to a kind of dizzy excitement that it might just work, why the hell not?! I'm only just 2dpo now. 10 more days to go.

(I have 15 Wondfo hpts taunting me though so I'll probably start testing next Monday!)

Gin, you basically just described me too! First cycle trying and I'm literally foaming at the mouth waiting for this week to be over. Most of my symptoms I was obsessing over have subsided but still getting a really upset tummy every day now.
I might have something wrong with my kidneys so I'm got an ultrasound app booked on 4th Jan. If it worked, is there any chance they might pick up on something on the scan?! If only be just over 5 weeks. IF it happens.

This is also my first cycle properly trying. I'm truly sat in the crazy corner too- I keep on looking at my ic pissy sticks and I'm only 3 dpo! I'm totally obsessed.

I've had no symptoms so far though, is that weird? maybe a bit of gas/bit of nausea but that's it. snow have you got any?

Gin I'm like that, been off the pill for a while, but was of the feeling if it happened it happened, then last cycle was our first cycle, tracking on apps and using opks, not going to use as much opks this month. I have a clear blue fertility monitor so will use that and going to try temping :) Tell my hubby that is ok its only the first cycle, he goes to work and im on google googling every single symptom haha

Back again after a couple of weeks away - quick question - I've just been given a CB fertility monitor, but I'm on day 17 of my cycle and it looks like I can only set it up on days 1-5, is this right? Used internet cheapies last month but I think they got the time I was ovulating wrong and was hoping to try this month to get some better data (flashing smilies/solid smilies etc). If so is there another monitor I can buy (today!) to try and get some better info on what's going on?

My only symptom, if it even is one!! Is gas too, this morning I shamed myself, mortified myself even, by farting the entire way downstairs I couldn't keep it in as I walked!!! My husband just gave me The Look and I just know he was thinking "classy". My temps went from 96.63 on Tuesday, 97.24 yesterday and 98.09 today. I'm feeling kind of feverish actually, but I've been around a lot of colds this week so I bet I'm getting it too. I'm telling myself if, and that's a big if, a swimmer found the egg it's not even in my uterus yet so there's no way I could feel anything. I'm using pro-gest cream from today so it might give me "symptoms" so I'm going to attribute anything from here til testing day to that. My dr wants to hear if my temp stays over my pre-ovulation temp for a week and then she will take a blood test for progesterone in case I need stronger help in that department. How are the rest of you 2+dpo folks feeling?

And I'm definitely 2dpo now as both Ovia and Kindara say so. I put my info into fertility friend too and they say that also. I didn't like ff as much as Ovia though. It's not as pretty and easy to use.
