Starting the boarding for the December Bus...

My history if anyone is interested:-

DS1 in October 2012. Started ttc for dc2 last September. Got BFP in the November but MC'd at 5 weeks.
Fast forward to July, got another bfp. Started bleeding on August Bank Holiday weekend and found out we had MMC at 11 weeks. Had ERPC a week later. 5 weeks later after still getting positive hpts, found out the ERPC had been completely unsuccessful and had to have whole bloody procedure again.

Anyway. Now got my first proper period after all the above bullshit and hoping for bfp on or before the 18th December

Sorry to hear about AF hanste , weechops & soda , best of luck for January.

I'm over the moon to announce that I got a slightly darker line this morning! I can't believe it, I'm shaking so much and have been very teary. Slightly terrified too, but fingers crossed this time things will work out for us Smile

Good luck to those of you waiting to POAS!

Gin: yes, I used OPKs, but only the internet cheapies, wondering about swapping to CB duel digital? I got a faint line on CD 17-20 and then AF appeared CD 29 (obv. Day 1 of next cycle but you see what I mean).
Celen: any advice? LP would be very short if I OV on day 20 but not so much if day 17?! Those sticks don't seem to be very differentiating...

Mimilicious013 · 04/12/2015 09:01

Who wouldn't be teary kiwi with such a clear bfp.!!congratulations and fingers crossed for a sticky bean..fx
fine good luck on the new cycle .i unfortunately am not using opks so can't be of much help but ever since i started ttc my cycles have become shorter and shorter so have decided to start dtd as early as cd6 incase i ovulate earlier than i think

peamad · 04/12/2015 09:12

Morning ladies
I have been hanging around this bus for a few weeks and although I haven't posted until now its been the only thing keeping be sane during my TWW. AF was due today, and I am pretty much speechless because I just tested and got a BFP! We are TTC#1 and this is the first cycle we have tried, so I was completely unprepared for a BFP. I know its very early days but I feel completely thrown, and cant comprehend keeping this a secret for 3 months (assuming it is a strong & healthy bean).
Any words of advice for a newbie?x (PS I did three tests just to be sure)

Another BFN for me this morning! With AF due tomorrow I'm pretty sure I'm out, surely I would have had a BFP by now if I was pg? This is when I got my faint positive with DS.
Any news queen?
Pea congrats! FWIW I told my immediately family (DBs and DPs) straight away, if anything had happened I would have wanted their support anyway.

kiwifluff25 · 04/12/2015 09:41

peamad congratulations! My advice would be the same as MiniLop, last time we didn't tell anyone (wanted to wait until the 12 week scan), but unfortunately we lost the baby the night before the scan (12 + 5). We told people then as we desperately needed support, but as they hadn't known all along it was never real to them, so they didn't really understand how devastated we were and how late on it felt to us.

MiniLop , you never know, my sister and I don't tend to get BFPs until 3+ days after missed period Smile .

peamad · 04/12/2015 09:53

Thanks for the advice kiwi and Mini! And I'm so sorry for your loss kiwi Flowers The thought of losing the baby after three months is terrifying Sad

Kellz92 · 04/12/2015 10:46

Mimi im already going insane lol

Kiwi, pea congratulations! Xx

LifeHandsYouLemons · 04/12/2015 11:09

Hey, but stuck to what to think at the moment, my AF is due in 4 days and it feels and looks like I have come on 4 days early, is this implantation or just normal AF?

Have done everything right from and before ovulation, has anyone got anymore information on this ? Shall I test in the morning do you reckon...

weechops · 04/12/2015 13:02

Congratulations kiwi and peamad

Life could well be implantation! I would definitely test tomorrow.

mamaneedsamojito · 04/12/2015 13:43

Same here sodasoda, AF arrived a day early. Had a little cry this morning but I'm just getting on with it now.

Save me a seat on the Jan bus, I'll be over shortly.

kittyvet · 04/12/2015 14:38

Congratulations pea and kiwi! Sorry for everyone who got a visit this morning...better luck next month. I caved in this morning and got a BFN at 8po on Internet cheapie. Didn't test positive with my daughter until 12po so definitely need to retest!

peamad · 04/12/2015 16:36

Thanks kittyvet - fingers crossed for you over the next few days :)

Sakura03 · 04/12/2015 17:08

I had a similar experience to you kiwi but I found out we'd lost our baby a week before our scan, it fucking sucks Sad

Trying to summon up the energy to bonk DH...why can't we just take a pill for pregnancy?! Sex is such a PITA sometimes Hmm

GuessHowMuch · 04/12/2015 20:06

I'm out! Glad AF is finally here though and on to the next cycle. Congrats on the BFPs Kiwi and pea. Good luck everyone else still waiting Smile

MiniLop · 04/12/2015 20:13

Celen I'm testing tomorrow. AF is due tomorrow so hopefully I'll get an answer one way or the other!
I did something stupid earlier. Normally I throw away my tests as soon as I've read them but I didn't this morning. When I got home from work I picked it up again and examined it under a lamp. Thought I might have seen a very very faint line. Now I've got my hopes up but I know it's almost certainly an evap line after 9 hours!!

MiniLop · 04/12/2015 20:14

Sorry to hear AF got you guess. But you're right, new cycle new hope! Thanks and Winefor you!

kittyvet · 04/12/2015 20:42

Yes the bonus for anyone with a BFN now is a boozy Christmas! That's a little consolation! I am testing Sunday and Tuesday. Not expecting positive until at least Tuesday and as its my first cycle since giving birth I am happy to take a BFN this month. Hoping to get pregnant next year though :)

MiniLop · 04/12/2015 20:52

Same kitty! How old is your DC? My DS is 9 months.

Celen · 04/12/2015 20:53

Fine my cycles vary hugely between 26-33 days and I never know when I ovulate so I use the CB digital ov sticks to pinpoint the ov day.

I've noticed over the year that my luteal phase can be in the short side so take Agnus Castus every day to try and lengthen it.

OP posts:
kittyvet · 04/12/2015 20:57

My daughter is 15mths minilop never been so pleased to see AF than when she turned up last month!

kittyvet · 04/12/2015 20:59

Hey Celen do you think Agnus works? I have quite a short luteal phase too!

GinandJazzHands · 04/12/2015 22:11

Wow congratulations kiwi and pea, fab news! Xmas Grin
Sorry to all who have had AF or BFNs so far - here's to a boozy xmas or a re-test soon.
Fine I'm using cheapy OPKs too and had three days in a row of +ves (i.e. line same depth of colour as control line or darker, regardless of how faint or deep control line is), and one day prior to that I had a faint test line against a darker control line; so a -ve by the book. I'm wondering whether you actually ovulated on the first day of the positive test, in which case your luteal phase would be bang on average at 12 days?
