All we want for Christmas is our BFP! All aboard the December Bus...

Starting the boarding for the December Bus...

My history if anyone is interested:-

DS1 in October 2012. Started ttc for dc2 last September. Got BFP in the November but MC'd at 5 weeks.
Fast forward to July, got another bfp. Started bleeding on August Bank Holiday weekend and found out we had MMC at 11 weeks. Had ERPC a week later. 5 weeks later after still getting positive hpts, found out the ERPC had been completely unsuccessful and had to have whole bloody procedure again.

Anyway. Now got my first proper period after all the above bullshit and hoping for bfp on or before the 18th December

Anyone else close to POAS-Ing yet? I've not even entered the TWW yet! Good job it's Xmas this month to keep my mind distracted.

5 apparently... FF does weird things to my cycle though - I was tracking for the past 2 years on another app due to inter cycle bleeding and had a 23 day cycle every time. Now on FF it's 27. And this cycle it's predicting AF on CD 32.

I need to stop thinking about it. Thank goodness for this thread or I'd be going CRAZY.

Fertility friend is not my friend today! My chart was looking beautiful with temps and my monitor all agreeing then I threw a low temp today so now it's saying I didn't ovulate when I thought! So probably not enough DTD this month. I am testing Sunday, the day after our Xmas party :(

Hi sodasoda, absolutely! Hoping I can hold off until Friday as I have Wednesday and Thursday off... 😁

Same with us, last Christmas I thought I could be pregnant and now this Christmas I'm still not. I've tried acupuncture too, but what I really feel I need is a less hectic and stressful life! Have had a really relaxing month so feeling hopeful, plus I had a few drinks a week or so ago, so hoping Sod's law will be on my side! Sounds like you've got a good chance this month, fingers crossed for both of us x

I gave in to temptation and re-tested with a frer. Definite BFN this time. Disappointing! It is still very early though soooo nothing to be done but wait and re-test another day. Must try to distract myself and not obsess about it Confused

I am still having a weird month. After the spotting last week settled down it is now back. It's pinkish/brown and only really when I wipe. I never normally get anything like this. I'm only cd17... what is going on???

Wow - loads going on in this thread.

I've been feeling like af is imminent for about 2 days now. I wish it would get a move on so I can call the hospital and start injecting those stims.

I had cramping last night but now it's gone and no sign of af yet.

Hummm I'm not symptom spotting Grin but I do feel I've been having twinges over the last couple of days in the womb area and to the right side. I'm about 6dpo?

Could be anything though, let's face it! Other possible symptoms, bloated over weekend. Tired (i'm always this though). Bit more emotional than usual? Possibly?

Deffo think I've ov'd now and in the wait, based on observations only! Got a party Friday and Saturday, but will be too early to test before that, I'll only be about 10 dpo.

kitty - don't worry too much about 1 temp, see what it's like tomorrow. It was my first month temping so I'm no expert but I think it's the overall pattern rather than 1 off temps. A single temp can be off for loads of reasons. Same thing happened to me this month - FF said I ovulated then 3 days later I had a low temp and it went mad and said I hadnt ovulated, but it went up again the next day and been up ever since and FF relaxed. As did I Smile

hanste - I know. It's really tough when you're 'trying' to relax all the time as well! I do try but often my flaming cycle is often all I can think about. Strangely not testing this month has kept me a bit saner I think. A real low point was testing every month from 3dpo Blush it'll be tough for you to hold out if you're off work! Keeping busy is the only way for me! When is your AF actually due?

serious there's definitely something there - hope it's darker tomorrow!

AF is one day late so going to test with a frer Blush I'm very bad at waiting when I know there's three in my drawer waiting!

Thanks soda I am out of practice with all this! Getting a consistent temp not helped by giggly baby trying to snatch it out of my mouth! Good luck queen and all those testing in the am!

queen I'm with you on the impatience side. Tested again tonight, obv still a very faint line. I dread to think how much we all spend on tests that are used when they don't need to be or shouldn't be!

To all those worrying about shagging "enough" before ov day, my ds was conceived after the only shag we had that particular month, 2 days before ov day.

I remember it distinctly as we'd been ttc-ing for almost two years and that that month both DH and I were ill so only managed it the once. I had only POAS because my cycle seemed very long that month and I wondered where my period had gone - I was shocked to see a bfp! Confused Shock

nenehoo - where are you in your cycle? If you're close to AF time then your temp dropping unfortunately usually means AF is on its way. I'm 12dpo today and my temp is down this morning almost to cover line so fairly sure AF will be with me tomorrow Sad

I POAS again today, another BFN. I wasn't planning to until tomorrow but I've got loads of ICs so might as well every morning until AF arrives (due Sat I think) so a BFN at 11 dpo for me.

My AF wasn't due til next Monday so will probably test once more before I make an appointment with my GP.
