Starting the boarding for the December Bus...

My history if anyone is interested:-

DS1 in October 2012. Started ttc for dc2 last September. Got BFP in the November but MC'd at 5 weeks.
Fast forward to July, got another bfp. Started bleeding on August Bank Holiday weekend and found out we had MMC at 11 weeks. Had ERPC a week later. 5 weeks later after still getting positive hpts, found out the ERPC had been completely unsuccessful and had to have whole bloody procedure again.

Anyway. Now got my first proper period after all the above bullshit and hoping for bfp on or before the 18th December

Congrats serious!! Definitely a line there now Smile

What fertility apps can people recommend, is fertility friend a good one?

MiniLop · 01/12/2015 09:34

Cerrone I've got 3 Blush ovia fertility is my favourite, then kindara, then fertility friend. I used the ovia pregnancy app when I was pg with DS too!

MiniLop · 01/12/2015 09:35

But I don't do temping, just OV sticks and CM tracking. FF might be better for people who are temping??

SeriousStuff · 01/12/2015 09:37

I used FF and wasn't temping

LondonGirl83 · 01/12/2015 09:49

Oh my, this bus got started early. Hoping on:

Age 32
Ttc #1
Cycle #2 post MC
CD 21
AF Due: 5th of December

jauntyofarabia · 01/12/2015 10:04

Congrats serious! you must be so thrilled! And its only Dec 1st!

I'm upping my strategy and decided that I'm going to do ovulation sticks 'properly' for the first time this month, not going to get into temping though.

I'm also using Ovia and trying to work out this cervix tracking thing i.e. hard / soft, high / low, open / closed. Any hints and tips anyone? I am struggling with this height and openess thing, I guess I am being a bit thick Blush. is anyone else tracking that?

Bugmuncher · 01/12/2015 10:23

Serious it's definitely there. So exciting!

weechops · 01/12/2015 11:15

Woo serious definite bfp there! Congrats Grin

thewoods84 · 01/12/2015 11:43

Hi all, moving over from November bus, am now on CD37 of normally 28 day cycle, two BFN's last week on Monday and Friday. Hubby away this week so not poas again till he gets back Friday. Very confused, never been late before...but two bfns???

Havetobecrazytolivehere · 01/12/2015 12:06

Hi, moving over from the Nov bus.
Sadly had a mc confirmed today by my dr so not really trying this month but want to keep tracking my cycle and seeing all your BFP's over Xmas.

SeriousStuff · 01/12/2015 12:11

Sorry to hear that Have. How many weeks were you? Welcome to the bus and hopefully you'll feel up to it again when you're ready.

EllieM22 · 01/12/2015 12:22

Hi, i'm new here and this is my first thread i'm posting on!
Not actively TTC, but thought we would see what happened in November.

DTD on sun 15th and sun 22nd, absolutely no idea when I OD.
I had cramps constantly since about 19th Nov, nothing like AF. Also severely bloated and bad stomachache. I fainted at one point and had blood tests done on 27th Nov which didn't show anything.

AF was due today 1st Dec, normally first thing in the morning like clockwork. Nothing yet, and I don't feel like she is about to come anytime soon. Taken a CBD and a FRER and both negative. Still getting these weird cramps on both sides of my uterus like a pulling/stretching, and last night I threw up.

Decided to take my bbt for the first time this morning at 7am when I first woke up, and it was 36.65.

So it is now probably about 9-16dpo. I really don't feel like AF is around the corner, and she is never late, but my tests are BFN.

Any advice?

Thick creamy CM but I have that most days of my cycles anyway.

Also 2 huge spots on my chin which i don't ever get.

Thanks :) wishing BFPs to everyone!

Dreamingoutloud · 01/12/2015 12:43

Hey everyone
I'm new to the bus, was around a while ago but stopped visiting as I was getting a little to consumed by all the ttc!
Anyway I would like to join you ladies again if I may.
Currently on day 1 and it's been a 28 day cycle for 2 cycles in a row (I had a mmc in July and it's taken so long for my body to sort itself out again)
Ovia says I'm due on 31st but fx I will continue with the 28 day cycles and should be due around 27-29th Dec.
Last few months we've just been ntnp because of the cycle situation but this month in going to start with ov sticks as well, we also have some preseed that we might use. And I've been using epo up to ov to try and create some ewcm!!

I'll go through and catch myself up now...

Bonywasawarriorwayayix · 01/12/2015 13:03

Hello!
We're TTC DC2 after a MMC last month. AF due around 14th December.
Frustratingly we've been abroad for the last few months, so I don't have my ovulation tester sticks with me (we're going home this week). Fingers crossed having sex lots this month worked anyway Smile

Bonywasawarriorwayayix · 01/12/2015 13:06

Doh! MMC in October not last month.

Thurlow · 01/12/2015 13:09

Afternoon all, checking in after dipping in a little on the November bus.

TTC#2. Stopped the pill in early October. AF has just started today, so technically that's two months, but who knows if the first month counted or not!

Slightly disappointed not to be pg this month but looking on the positive, I can now enjoy Christmas more - and I'd rather a September due date than an August one Grin

The irony is I have had 3 - yes, 3 - accidental pregnancies while using one form or other of contraception. Now we're actually trying and I suspect it's going to take longer!

Testing date potentially Christmas Day Shock

Kellz92 · 01/12/2015 13:34

Serious congratulations! Eeek

Welcome to all the new ladies!

I got my positive opk today so happy December to me haha xx

Celen · 01/12/2015 14:16

Good luck Kellz, go get busy Wink

After being kept awake all night by my ds (3) with painful conjunctivitis, I'm trying to decide whether I'll have enough energy to jump DH's bones and, indeed, whether we'll get 10 minutes to get it on Hmm

OP posts:
nenehooo · 01/12/2015 15:48

Congrats serious! Fab news! Celen get on it - just pretend you're winking at DH with your bad eye

Thurlow are you a teacher by any chance?!

Sorry to hear your news, have Thanks

I'm feeling crampy and more spotting today - but only 6dpo and CD25. Very confused, but it fits in with my usual cycle, so pretty sure I'm out. Think FF got it wrong but at least it means I'll get AF earlier than predicted and I can get on with seriously TTC - all being well with my scan.

ETD will be New Year's Eve - ish! We will be away with DH's family in Spain Hmm

Thurlow · 01/12/2015 16:22

Nene - nope! Why, do I sound like someone you know? Is there someone else out there who contraception fails to agree with?! Grin

nenehooo · 01/12/2015 16:35

No it was the preference for a September born over August!

I've just come on and about to go in for my scan. Lovely. Feel for the sonographer!

ScottishGirlx · 01/12/2015 16:41

Hi folks,

Can I please join too? This is my first post however I've been reading the boards since Sept!!

Age : 27
TTC : #1
Cycle : 2
CD : 24
ETD 8th Dec

slowly but surely picking up all the abbreviations Hmm

So far this cycle I have had some pink spotting about 2 days after ov and have felt some weird pinching sensations over the past 2 days. They've only lasted a min or two though so not sure if I'm imagining things!!

Wishing everyone lots of luck this monthSmile xx

Sheep2345 · 01/12/2015 16:43

It's December, thank goodness, 22nd seemed like a really long time away, now it's still long but not so bad!

Good luck to all the ladies who are imminently POAS

Thurlow my friend is on her 2nd accidental pregnancy, some people must just have good eggs and good swimmers Grin

Thurlow · 01/12/2015 16:53

Ah, that makes sense!

Sheep, so it seems - except when you're actively trying Grin
