lolly that's not your problem if they have childcare issues. That's a risk you take if you have a nanny. Seriously, take some time off, lovely

whimsicalname · 26/11/2015 00:03

Blimey, that was a kerfuffle. It's been such a long time since I logged in I was all logged out and had to reset everything. Anyone would think MN had forgotten all about me.

Anyway, I heard a rumour that Imps was back, and I see from a spot of stalking it's true so I just wanted to pop in and give you a little wave and say hello.

I don't know if you remember me asking you whether you were like Ally McBeal or some such, and you replied you were more like the lawyer in The Castle? Well, one day when I'd moved to America and was either tired and pregnant or tired with a newborn, and sad and lonely because all my friends were in England, it came on TV and I watched it and thought of you and loved it and it cheered me up, and I've been waiting 3 years to say thank you for the recommendation!

As you were...

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 26/11/2015 20:30

Hi Whim!! How are you and your 4 boys? Or have you had any more since then? Have you settled well over there? For good or any likelihood or coming back?

farfallarocks · 26/11/2015 23:23

Brookers! I am so sorry for prolong ed absence. Had a horrendous end to pregnancy with all sorts of ailments, dh working away and unable to log in for some reason!
I am very pleased to report babyGeorge arrived last Sunday weighing 8lbs 7. He is gorgeous and feeding brilliantly. C section was great although the recovery has been tough so far, tUrns out you need stomach muscles for everything!
Little far is coping well so far with the new arrival.
Off to catch up on the full thread ....

jaggythistlez · 26/11/2015 23:42

Give his tiny head a wee sniff for me. Grin

keepitgoing · 27/11/2015 08:58

Congratulations far Flowers hope you're enjoying those newborn cuddles - and not using your stomach muscles at all!

Lovely to see you whim Any plans to move back to England - I can't remember if MrWhim was there for a fixed time?

QueenMolotov · 30/11/2015 10:51

Hiya mol all OK here, AF will be here by Friday and then i can book my scratch :) no TTC next month for us! And we have our consent/teaching appt next Thursday!

The other day I plucked up my courage and told my boss I was having some treatment (mumbled gynae) over the next 2 months and would largely fit it around work. He looked embarrassed and said 'fine, fine'

I'm going to book a day's a/l before Xmas on a day kip is in nursery and have a whole day just for me, mooching around Smile

BeedlesPineNeedles · 30/11/2015 12:31

keep I can imagine my boss being equally embarassed if I told him, but he's so laid back I have manged to avoid telling him. The new clinic is so Close that MrB picks me up from work about 15mins Before an appointmnet and that gives us plenty of time to drive there and park. And me disappearing for an hour or 2 in the middle of the day is no problem.

Will you be Xmas shopping on your day off, or just relaxing? The just relaxing sounds good to me!

keepitgoing · 30/11/2015 12:40

Yeah I debated not saying anything but clinic is other side of town, so bad in rush hour when I'm assuming I'll needs scans etc. Plus I have lots of meetings so am sure some will clash. beedle what leave have you taken around etc/et?

Yes, think I will do some Xmas shopping maybe online if I feel lazy Are you back in the uk for Xmas? Has it snowed with you yet?

QueenMolotov · 30/11/2015 17:18

A break from ttc over Christmas sounds like a plan, keep - guilt-free alcohol merriment for all! [santa] And I always love a day to myself. I don't get them often but the last one I did have, I watched Bad Grampa with Johnny Knoxville and cackled like a goon Grin

I'm not sure if my new medication is affecting my cycle, but I woke in the night with sharp pains in my uterus, so maybe I'm ovulating early? I guess it could have been something else, or something and nothing (I turn into a demon symptom-spotter when ttc. I want it to be different this time, but old habits and all that). If it's nothing, I'm due to ov around the weekend.

And I went to Asda this morning and had a good look at baby clothes Blush I have a pram in mind, too ... tries to keep hopes at a respectable level

Holy fuck girls. Something told me to test today - two super strong BFPs. This was after a proper AF last week. What the fuck? I don't know what to do.

Don't stop us now! We're having such a good time, we're having a ball and BROOKING NO ARGUMENT!
QueenMolotov · 01/12/2015 07:15

Looks like a clear BFP to me!!!

Wahooooooooo! B R I L L I A N T!

Book in to see your GP or specialist? If you are pg (which it looks like you are Grin) the 'period' was probably your uterine lining shedding when it would have had a real period. Was it bright red, fresh blood? Or watery red/pink/brown?

Positives don't get stronger with chems or after AF. You are diffed!

I'll phone Bourn Hall I think. Blimey. Have been here before though and it didn't end well so I am braced for the worst.

Blimey.

Imps9 · 01/12/2015 07:21

Re: AF, it honestly seemed like a normal bleed. Bit light on day 3 I suppose, but other than that totes normal.

Imps9 · 01/12/2015 07:25

I'm sorry to just barge in btw before catching up on everyone else's news. Will catch up later. I don't know what I'm doing.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 01/12/2015 07:32

Barging in with BFPs is absolutely acceptable imps :o :o :o

Sounds like a plan to call Bourn Hall, maybe they'll give you some of the nice drugs they were planning for your next cycle. Oh and I saw something on Amazon last week that made me Think of you, this it was a black friday deal - i wasn't actually looking at prams :o

QueenMolotov · 01/12/2015 07:34

You barge all you want Imps. I think everyone on here will be all ears for your news x

Take a deep breath, make your call and just take things one step at a time. It will be okay.

I've just shoved a bum bullet up my arse. Seemed like a sensible thing to do.

keepitgoing · 01/12/2015 08:18

Oh my gooooood! imps!!! Amazing. Always good to shove a bum bullet up the arse Grin in the mists of brooking history who was it who had AF and was layer found to be 4 weeks further on than we thought?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 01/12/2015 08:27

keep That was smegs and I Think musical had the same as imps AF followed by a BFP a few days later.

Yeah for the bum bullet imps :o
