A friend of mine had loads of miscarriages. She had had plenty of scans etc and they said all was fine. It wasn't till they had a 3d scan done that she was diagnosed with a septum in her uterus, they removed it and bam, all was good. That was at St Mary's private London clinic

Is there no RMC expert in Sweden?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 02/02/2016 09:03

not thatI can find keep the first hit on google was actually the testing at my clinic that they won't do because they don't Count in their Eyes. I also read the equivalent of mumsnet but I couldn't find any mention of an expert here, they were talking about going to athens. I will do some more googling, but maybe not whilst I'm in the office!

Imps9 · 02/02/2016 10:51

Glad the bleeding has slowed Beedles. I think that sounds like an excellent plan - one FET and then a trip to Coventry for an assessment.

Can Mr B's swimmers be investigated more too? And is IMSI and option for your next fresh round, if you have to have one (which you won't).

Any news from you Loops?

keepitgoing · 02/02/2016 11:07

Oh fuck I just drove into a fucking bollard going to a meeting. Car window is fucked, I am waiting for recovery agent and missing meeting ffs I am an idiot

BeedlesPineNeedles · 02/02/2016 11:13

keep hope you're ok and it doesn't cost too much, blame baby brain or pregnancy hormones!

Imps I Think IMSI is only a trial at the moment (and I'm too old) so they probably wouldn't allow me to pay for it as its probably not licensed or something. I'll start him back on the vitamins soon in case we need Another fresh cycle

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 02/02/2016 11:47

I'm out, I tested again today at 12 dpo and just a shadow. No proper line, not a hint of pink to it, and so that's another chemical pregnancy to add to the list. Really should be a strong pink line on a frer by now. So much for the scratch/metformin/clomid/progesterone, managing to get DH to DTD 2-3 days before ov, hasn't altered a thing. Feel like it's just never going to happen, no matter what I do. Eggs keep fertilising, implanting enough to start small amount of hcg and then just stop, die, fall away from lining, who knows what is going on in there but so fed up of this crap now. Got a max of 5 more cycles of clomid and then I don't think we have anything else left to try unless prof q has any new ideas from the Tommys research stuff.

Imps9 · 02/02/2016 11:54

I have got so much pant snot. Seems like such a waste of it to not to have Sexy Time :/

Imps9 · 02/02/2016 11:59

Sorry Loops didn't see your previous post. I'm really sorry this one hasn't worked out :( . Can you get DH's sperm tested? Even sperm which is on the face of it okay can have underlying DNA damage. I am really sorry. What's your AMH like? Maybe try Proxeed for Women?

It would be awesome if FRER could be digital too (although imagine how much they'd cost then Shock). They always seem to have a shadow there and it can be hard to tell if there's pink there or not.

keepitgoing · 02/02/2016 11:59

loopy are you sure?? 12dpo is still v early. Is it lighter than Sunday then?
5 more cycles is loads though!

I'm OK just annoyed with self, stressed to high heaven already I need this like a hole in the head. It's not important, just money. PLEASE just let that little embryo be OK at scan in... 17 days gah

BeedlesPineNeedles · 02/02/2016 12:01

Oh loopy I'm sorry, I really hoped your cocktail of drugs was going to help. Will you keep trying for the next few months? I'm sure I've read something about it taking 3 months for an egg to be one of the ones that starts developing. So although the clomid/metformin didn't work this time they might have made enough of a difference for your next cycle.

Pastamancer · 02/02/2016 13:19

Keep I had a van hit me while driving to work the same week I had my BFP with DD2. My Gran also went in to hospital with a stroke and then ended up in CCU where they told us there was nothing they could do and we just sat round her bed waiting for her to die. Her funeral was the day after my 12 week scan so I had all that stress to deal with but DD2 was fine. Try not to worry too much.

Sorry Loops, life is being shit at the moment.

keepitgoing · 02/02/2016 14:59

Thanks pasta, it's not about today particularly, just if all is progressing in there in general...

Imps9 · 02/02/2016 16:59

Keep FWIW I've always bled despite being on progesterone - it doesn't stop the bleeding completely, only delays it. So if you're not bleeding, that is good!

keepitgoing · 02/02/2016 21:32

Thanks lovely imps

beedle hope you two are as OK as could be expected. What does mrb think of your plans...? Lots of love

loopy I'm still a-brooking here

BeedlesPineNeedles · 03/02/2016 06:17

I've Always bled on progesterone too, apart from the one time that I now Think was a chem preg.

We're OK thanks keep I haven't told MrB about my Coventry plans yet, I don't want him thinking this attempt is doomed Before we even start! I've pretty much stopped bleeding, which helps.

keepitgoing · 03/02/2016 08:00

Very smart, you won't need to go to Coventrybeedle, no, no, no

Imps9 · 03/02/2016 12:07

Your next FET certainly isn't doomed Beedles, absolutely not. When can you have it transferred? Presumably after you ovulate this cycle?

Imps9 · 03/02/2016 13:53

Oooh I wish this egg would pop. I am hugely bloated and eating everything in sight. I got my third flashing smiley in a row this morning, so hopefully I will get my peak tomorrow and drop the egg on Friday.

Imps9 · 03/02/2016 20:03

Oooooh I got my peak tonight so we could be up for some hot egg action tomorrow. Exciting times.

Imps9 · 03/02/2016 20:04

Does anyone else ever pee on IC ovulation sticks just to see a second line come up on a test?

Imps9 · 04/02/2016 06:34

Bollocks, we accidentally had a The Sex last night. Mr I was going to pull out, but we were both having such a nice time we just forgot.

I feel like we've been really irresponsible Confused

keepitgoing · 04/02/2016 07:43

Whoopsie imps! Grin...

BeedlesPineNeedles · 04/02/2016 07:50

well imps when this results in your brooking baby you can quite honestly tell people it was an accident! :o

Yes we'll try again this cycle, I'll start with the Ov sticks on Sunday, probably looking at a transfer around the 16th, with progesterone from 7dpo - must check when I get home how much I have, I Think its about 5 weeks worth

keepitgoing · 04/02/2016 08:56

You are a total trooper! Fwiw with my FETs I was told to start progesterone immediately after ET

I've not POanymoreSs as I am a wimp. Apologies for not helping your science experiments imps

Imps9 · 04/02/2016 08:58

Will they give you progesterone Beedles? Glad you can transfer this cycle - always good to have something to focus on. The thumb-twiddling is the worst bit about IVF, I find.

Haaa yes an accidental FUFC sticky BFP!! Obvs that will definitely happen. But in the non-Brooking world I am focussing on the fact that there's a tiny chance of getting diffed and an even tinier chance of another ectopic, so hopefully we won't have ballsed up our IVF timetable again.
