You can't beat a Freddie Mercury-themed title to get a new thread going Grin

I know!! I'm just really hoping that I don't have the heaviest bleeding at the weekend as I've got 3 parties to go to! Yes, 3!! Well, we're hosting one of them I suppose but still.

Having a fabulous working from home day today - have already done 1 hour of crochet, had 3 cups of tea, have a sausage sandwich on the go and am in my PJs still. At some point I may do some work but I doubt it

Imps9 · 08/12/2015 11:39

Have just called Bourn Hall to request that they use surgically retrieved Bollock Sperm for the next cycle, rather than Jizzed Sperm. Everything that I've read recommends that Bollock Sperm is used where there very high DNA frag (as Mr Imps has) so I hope they go with it. Plus I think it's only fair for Mr Imps to have a go with a big needle - I've had my fair share Grin

QueenMolotov · 08/12/2015 13:03

Very weird, Imps. Did you get your blood test results back?

OP posts:
Imps9 · 08/12/2015 13:10

Yes, yesterday it had gone down from 435 to 290. They want to see me tomorrow as the numbers aren't halving as they should. I wonder if I had a partial miscarriage when I had what I thought was my period, but some bits remained which have lead to this? Bleeding is back, but still no clots. No cramping either today. All very odd, but am sure I'll be back to normal soon.

keepitgoing · 08/12/2015 13:14

Oh no that's bollocks. I I hope BH go for the bollocks sperm Grin how's 'work'?

Imps9 · 08/12/2015 13:16

"Work" Keep? What do you mean? Oh! Yes, of course, work! It's going great, thanks! Grin

BeedlesPineNeedles · 08/12/2015 13:32

imps you're doing fabulously well. Sorry that this has had to delay the next lot of treatment. Just to say though an early mc doesn't have to be a full-on blood bath. Mine was similar to a heavy period, in fact having read about other peoples periods, they probably wouldn't even describe it as heavy or painful. But its good that they are keeping an eye on you.

keep hope kip is properly better soon, and you don't get it and the car stops smelling of vomit soon!

AF has arrived here so I will be speaking to the clinic this afternoon, I Think we have nicely avoided any possibility of a pre-Xmas FET so it will be the middle of January, which is what I wanted all along!

Imps9 · 08/12/2015 13:40

Thanks Beedles. I suppose that I'm expecting it to be exactly like my last one, but I guess that as every pregnancy is different, every MC is too.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS to a mid-Jan transfer!! This is SO exciting!! You'll be starting treatment around then won't you Keep?? It's going to be a BFP-fuelled start to the year, that's for sure.

Just sent a work email. Go me.

Imps9 · 08/12/2015 14:12

Just spray-painted some twigs silver. That counts as work in my book.

keepitgoing · 08/12/2015 14:14

Yes beedle my transfer if we get that far will be mid Jan too!

keepitgoing · 08/12/2015 14:15

Depends on your job imps !!

Imps9 · 08/12/2015 14:16

why would you not get that far Beedles?

Imps9 · 08/12/2015 14:31

OMG I'm being stupid - sorry, just noticed that you posted that post Keep, not Beedles. It makes sense now.

You WILL get that far and that's that.

Evening me hearties

Hcg has only dropped from 280 to 205 from Monday to today so I need to go in for a scan tomorrow morning. I wonder if it is an ectopic (they haven't actually scanned me yet)? Feeling a bit of pressure on my right hand side, but no pain at all and let's face it, I've had pressure/discomfort throughout my entire fanjo area over the past week.

With any luck it's just slow dropping HCG.

QueenMolotov · 09/12/2015 19:31

Hmmm, Imps, I think I would insist upon a scan. Have you told them about the one-sided pain? That should ring alarm bells for them. Better to be safe than risk an emergency situation.

Hope you're okay, aside from the obvious x

Imps9 · 09/12/2015 19:45

They are definitely scanning me tomorrow (that's what they've called me in for). Told them about the one-sided pain I had last week which caused me to go in, but that pain went away on Saturday and wasn't even that bad when it was there. It feels uncomfortable there today, but that could be my imagination.

They've said they may need to do some procedure depending on the outcome of the scan so we'll just have to see what happens I guess! Just another Imps Adventure...

keepitgoing · 09/12/2015 19:52

Oh impsy I hope hope hope it's just slow dropping. Are you still bleeding? X

Imps9 · 09/12/2015 20:02

No bleeding has stopped. I still feel very very full down there though and there must be more blood up there. Yes, I am sure it's just slow dropping HCG. I expect that if it was an ectopic I'd be in a whole load of pain, and I'm not.

DinoSnores · 10/12/2015 12:22

Hope the scan is helpful today, Imps. Flowers

Imps9 · 10/12/2015 12:27

Suspected ecoptic! On my left hand side which is where I had the pain last week and discomfort yesterday (I said right hand side yesterday but meant my left). Just waiting to see what happens next.

keepitgoing · 10/12/2015 12:31

Oh no! Is it literally wait and see
Ffs come on world give them a break!
Lots of love

BeedlesPineNeedles · 10/12/2015 12:58

Bloody hell imps its not easy is it?
Hope there's not too much waiting around, but I'm glad they have now decided what the problem is.

Imps9 · 10/12/2015 13:06

Right, have had various fingers and implements up my fanjo and now the dr is chatting it through with a consultant. Have brought my crochet with me so at least I've got that to crack on with.

Am not so bothered about the prospect of losing a tube - it's not like they've come in particularly handy so far. Hopefully it won't come to that.

And at least I no longer have to feel like a bit of a drama queen for coming in last week!

Imps9 · 10/12/2015 13:51

Hooray! Am heading home with all my bits intact! Consultant believes that because HCG is going down and because I'm not in any pain, the ectopic is clearing itself. I'll be back in for more bloods on Sat am and am under strict instructions to go back to the EPU or A&E if I get pain.

Hurrah!! Long live my left Fallopian tube!!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 10/12/2015 13:57

You're definitely not a drama Queen imps and hurrah indeed for all your bits being intact (less hurrah for having lots of things shoved up your fanjo)
