I am on my first cycle (when we stopped using contraception though my fertile window was almost over) so trying not to expect anything.

Hmm, I have two spots (never get spots) and slightly stronger mild cramping today and it's too soon for implantation so I'm wondering if actually, my real (not hormone induced) cycle is starting :( and I thought I was on the 2WW.

In a grump. 12dpo and it looks like AF is here. :( Temperature dropped this morning followed by yucky brown cm this evening. At least I can have a drink and not feel guilty!

thurlow I so know what you mean about a night out before pg. My weekend night if delayed from my birthday 2 weeks ago when I was ill. Really want to go for it as it could be the last chance for a night out with dh if all goes well...

Who am I kidding? Not going to catch on the first month! Took 19 months then 9 months in the past!

Grace sorry about the PCOS, as others have said it's still doable. Plus it's always easier once you know what you're up against!

Havetobe TTC can drive even the sanest crazy! I'm no OPK expert but could it just mean that your body is still gearing up but just hasn't got there yet? I'll admit my first thought was pregnancy, if there's even the slightest chance then I'd do a test (I'm a fully paid up member of the POAS addiction club though!)

Queen fx AF stays away but if not then enjoy a drink (or 5!)

I'm in a grump too. I'm only CD17 but have been getting negative OPKs and feeling like AF was coming and now I'm spotting. Bugger.

Cd17 is early, could be o or implantation spotting?

V. Confused. Brown spotting has gone as quickly as it started to be replaced by creamy cm! Cramps and mood swings have gone too and my temp has gone back up. ah well, AF is due tomorrow so will keep eye out for her!

Queen, implantation bleeding that's taken a few days to travel down, hence being brown? Have you tested yet or waiting to see if AF shows up?

Hmm, so mild cramping still lingering and no AF. Never had cramps until after AF and even then rarely, which has got me thinking, can you have implantation cramps from as early as 3 days post ov?

Shemozzle that has occurred to me too but don't want to get hopes up. Am testing regularly but bfn each time.

I often get cramping around ov. Could be good sign?

Queen, how sensitive are the tests you are using? I wouldn't use anything but the cheapy Amazon/Ebay dipsticks. They are more sensitive than even the FRER's and a hell of a lot cheaper. I have a big stash ready :)

I am using those too. They're 10miu so pretty accurate :)

Well here it is, I popped out today and brought some tests as got fed up waiting for Frer's to arrive.

Bit worried as I should be on cd15 based on my last period but looks like I am about 4 weeks so no idea as I haven't hAd regular periods.
Not telling anyone in RL yet as still in shock and have really bad cramps and backache. I usually get really bad morning sickness so won't be able to hide for long.

Congratulations Crazy! wonderful news! I'm still getting BFN on the Internet cheapies despite two positive frer and a clear blue digital saying 'pregnant 1-2'. I don't think they can be 10miu despite what the packaging says.

funny enough loki I was thinking that they wernt as sensative as they make out a few people have said it

Congrats! I am 11 dpo and period due on Tuesday. Trying desperately not to think about it and not symptom spot coz most months I get the cramps, mood swings etc sore boobs so don't think I could spot a pregnancy. Plan is to wait until Tuesday and only test if period does not arrive. Let's see if I manage it. I shouldn't have high hopes anyway coz only dtd once I think in the fertile window.

Interesting melvali, been convinced we must have caught ready because of my strong cramping, but I've only just learnt about the progesterone drop after ovulation that causes it too.

Loki, didn't you say they were close to best before? They loose their accuracy with age so it might be that.

I've never used them before this time. I was given them by a friend. But you are right, they are close to use by so that could be it. I did get a v faint line on one the other day but I think it was an evap because it was really early.

Loki, I have also done a few ic tests and the line is faint so was surprised to get such a strong line on the cheap test I got from the chemist (think it was a one step or something).

Tbh my symptoms are very close to my last pregnancy and I had a similar problem with timings as I still had periods for the first three months.
The twins thing has occurred to me Shemozzle, they run in my family.

Just going to keep it to myself until it has sank in, so glad I can share it with you all, I dread the negative comments I will get from friends and family.

Wow congratulations crazy!

I'm cd32 of ?? today. Last month was 28 days bang on. Have had on and off sore boobs for about a week now, (not like me at all), the odd AF like crampy twinge and a bit of ?nausea today and yesterday. Trying not to read too much into it but the boob thing in particular is making me wonder and it was the first sign with my other pregnancies. We're also on holiday with friends next week. There will be wine. Questions will be asked if I'm not partaking in said wine. Part of me wants to test, part of me thinks ignorance is bliss and test when we get back (if AF not arrived). WWYD?!

AF arrived perfectly on time this morning guess that's me properly out then! Congrats to all with BFPs. Hope to join you all next month! Am planning to order a pack with preseed and a bbt this month (been using in-ear so far). Fx!

I did a test today 10 dpo it was bfn it it doesn't happen this month then I won't be trying next time as I don't want the stress over Christmas the constant bfn gets me down
