Thought I'd get this party started. Here's the stats: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sHG9PPsOs0yIqgR-o2UXX_fdlCQXdVNLfmPpNOePPjQ/edit

May this bus yield many BFPs! Hoorah!

Kir Sorry for AF. Flowers

Magpie I was Googling spots / jawline / cycle and other combinations of a similar ilk last night and I came across this website. Not sure if there's anything in it, but it shows you what spots mean for every area of your face, and the chin / jawline is apparently hormonal, and also, the side that you get the spots on is supposed to show you which side you are ovulating on! It's quite fascinating Grin At the moment, I have two on my left side. If you read some of the comments, one says that she got acne on her neck and then was diagnosed with OHSS. She is a sonographer, so found the cysts herself! Apparently, tracking the spots on your face is called 'face mapping.' I have really dry skin and never usually get spots at all, so it's all new to me. Here's the link:

That's really interesting! I have a spot on my forehead which I had been putting down to the clomid (along with my hideous mood swings) but according to that I should eat less junk food (which I've been eating more of because I'm trying to medicate the mood swings with chocolate). I've also had one on my jawline which is healing now, I'd also blamed that on the clomid. This adds a whole new system to symptom spotting Grin

Magpie - I had a lovely night thank you. He had indeed, it was a whole surprise party with family and friends. I felt very spoilt!

Unfortunately it had all be ruined today by the arrival of af. On cd22. Following two days of almost positive opks. That's us over until January now I expect as I very much doubt they'll fit us in next month. I really thought things were heading in the right direction finally.

I think I'm going to join Boris and Hopes in taking a break. I will be lurking, good luck to you all. Xx

loopylou1984 · 01/11/2015 14:04

Oh and for the ###stats### I am now 30.

Flybynight1 · 01/11/2015 15:16

Kir sorry for AF, but there is positive in your lengthened LP! That can only be a good thing Smile

Sammy 30s are the place to be!! Congratulations on becoming older and wiser, this decade will be a good one! So sorry for your AF result. Is it definitely full flow and not just weird spotting? I don't blame you for taking a break, especially after all of these ups and downs over the past few weeks. Regroup, relax and you may find something magical happened when you least expect it! Be kind to yourself, you still have plenty of time

Kirjava · 01/11/2015 15:32

sammy sorry this cycle has been awful. Xxx

eskimoflo · 01/11/2015 15:34

Oh Sammy I'm so sorry, lovely. Flowers Flowers Does that mean you ovulated right at the beginning of your cycle? Or is this an annovulatory one? Bodies are just rubbish when we don't know what's going on. Have you been able to speak to anyone at the clinic? Hope you're ok Flowers

MagpieCursedTea · 01/11/2015 16:22

Ah sammy that sucks, what a lovely thing for your DH to do, so sorry AF chose that time to turn up! Take care of yourself Thanks

loopylou1984 · 01/11/2015 17:42

Fly I'm not sure yet as its only the first day so is always light anyway, but it feels like normal af.

Eskimo - I think it's probably anovulatory, as I've been doing opks since cd9. Haven't spoken to the clinic yet but will call it the morning as there seems little point going for a scan now.

I think I'm getting ill too as have a sore throat. Feeling very sorry for myself.

Thank you everyone for being so nice. Xx

GlitteryClit · 01/11/2015 21:09

Kir my lip was consistently 10-11 days max. Sorry for af.

Sammy I'm so sorry you be kind to yourself. Flowers hope you are ok.

I'm due 30th June beaut.

DH has been bloody brilliant putting washes on making tea and keeping the house tidy/clean. I even let him cop a feel of my rock hard mammaries.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 02/11/2015 07:06

Congratulations Glittery I hope you feel better soon. You are due exactly a week before me.

Kir so sorry Af got you but great news that your LP has extended. Fx for this month.

Sammy sorry Af arrived. Is it definitely Af. I can completely understand you needing a break. But remember we are all here if you need to offload. Try to be kind to yourself for a bit. Perhaps booking a nice holiday or just a mini break with DH will do you both good. I know everyone's different but when I went on my little Norfolk holiday it's one of the only times in the past 13 months I didn't think about ttc 24/7. I'm not saying I didn't think about it at all but definitely much less than usual Smile

Pikz · 02/11/2015 08:36

Sammy so sorry. A break is definitely a good thing sometimes, I took loads towards the end as it was really getting to me.

Cheering on the OV and the BFP... Thanks

nervoussam · 02/11/2015 09:55

Ah sammy I'm so sorry, that must have been a horrible surprise. If I could I would take your AF away from you to have myself! Would there have been any sign of AF coming from your scans? So horrible to come so early, when you're not expecting it and on what was otherwise a lovely celebratory weekend. Have a good break, try and reduce the stress levels a bit. Enjoy Xmas as much as you can. Agree with beaut that a little break is an excellent idea.

Sorry for the AF too kir, ditto with the other ladies about the increased LP, each little positive will add up to the ultimate prize at the end of it all I'm sure.

Thanks for the spot info eskimo I also have a little one on my jawline and also never get spots, but I have absolutely no idea what's going on with my body/hormones at the moment so who knows!

Crappy week for me, DH away for a few days this week, his company does Christmas lights so he will be working all hours for the next month and I will hardly see him. Also have my scan on Thursday which I'm very nervous about, not sure what they will find.

Kirjava · 02/11/2015 10:14

nervous sorry you've got a crappy week.

Sorry if I've missed something - what scan are you having?

nervoussam · 02/11/2015 10:46

Thanks kir, it's exploratory really. After the norethisterone didn't bring on a bleed, the GP was flummoxed and didn't know what was going on so I've had some new bloods done and the scan is to look at the womb, the lining and generally see if there is something going on to explain it.

MumTumgot · 02/11/2015 10:54

Hi
Hope it's ok to join ... I got a bfp last Monday ... Says 1-2 weeks... Did another this morning ... Still saying 1-2 weeks was due 26th oct but feeling more than anxious as have had 4 mc all of them early as didn't get as far as heartbeat ( sign of failing being hormone not raising quick enough ... Paranoid it's happening again as only have sore boobs an no other symptoms ( dragging period pain in mid area to )
Any thoughts ? Desperate for some support ...

MagpieCursedTea · 02/11/2015 11:08

Good luck for the scan nervous! Hopefully they can figure out what's holding up the bleeding.

Eskimo I've broken out in loads of spots today, according to the face mapping I should be quite worried Grin
I think I might just put it down to the clomid, hopefully it's a sign that it's doing something turning me back into a teenager.

Hello MumTumgot sorry about your losses, it's understandable that you're worried. I know it's difficult but I'd stop doing the digital tests, it sounds like it's only adding stress. Have you spoken to your doctor?

Mummyofonesofar · 02/11/2015 11:15

sammy love I am so sorry about tha mean arrival of an early AF - hugs. I hope they can squeeze you in next month.

MumTumgot very sorry for your previous losses - there is a pg after mc thread that may be very helpful to you. Be very wary of the CB tests - they aren't very accurate at guessing gestation - everyone's hormones increase at different rate. See if you can get an early scan with your hospital through your GP - previous losses doesn't mean you won't be ok this time. With 4 previous losses your GP and hospital should keep an extra close eye on you.

DizzyMerry · 02/11/2015 11:45

Sorry AF got you kir but a longer lp is a positive sign. I think it was aux who managed to increase her lp and then got a bfp. I wish she'd come back!

I'm so sorry you've had a crappy cycle. Look after yourself and remember things will get better Flowers

Mumtum so very sorry for your losses. As others have said the digi tests aren't very accurate and just cause additional stress so step away from them. You should be able to get an early scan given your history so get in touch with your hospital and see if you can self refer, if not go via your GP.

Woolly84 · 02/11/2015 11:52

sammy, boris, hopes, thinking of you Flowers I had a bit of time off from MN and FB and it really helped, stay strong ladies and keep believing it will happen xx

Cheering on everyone else too, hi to the newbies and fx it's not a long journey for you! Smile

nightandthelight · 02/11/2015 12:08

Also thinking of Sammy, Boris and hopes, love you ladies xx

MumTumgot · 02/11/2015 12:12

Ah thank you all I've just been to docs he's referred me to recurrent mc clinic, booked me for scan next Monday ( would be bang on 6 weeks) and has prescribed baby aspirin and cyclogest pessarys ( bloods from last mc showed very low progesterone levels so pessarys may help .... ) Fingers crossed ... And damn those digi tests .... I'll scroll back and get some history from you ladies so I can join in properly xx

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 02/11/2015 12:17

Hi MumTumGot Congratulations . So sorry about your mcs. This is a trying to conceive thread so most of the ladies have been ttc for a long time. You may be better to join an ante natal thread with other ladies due in the same month as you or there are lots of pregnant after mc threads. Unfortunately as mc is so common I'm sure some of the lovely ladies on those threads can talk you through it plus if you join an ante natal one to then people will be at the same stage as you. Wishing you a very uneventful 9 months and a super sticky bean. Smile

lilygirl81 · 02/11/2015 12:48

Sammy I'm so sorry about AF, I hope they do manage to fit you in next month, but can understand you thinking it might be good to have a bit of a break and recharge.

MumTumgot I really hope the scan shows a lovely little sac, and good that your doctor has taken the initiative to start you on some meds.

Glittery your DH sounds lovely

I'm pretty much recovered from my baby bomb, have started the knitting that DSIS asked me to do for the twins, and am feeling ok. I said to DH that I've agreed to go down for a week to stay with her once BIL goes back to work, DH responded that hopefully by then I'll be hugely preggers Smile

nervoussam · 02/11/2015 14:15

lily love your DH's comment about being hugely preggers!!! Of course you will be a that's a great positive outlook.
