Any temping experts fancy having a look at my chart?

Hi

Thanks for taking the time to look. Would this suggest I ovulated? My opks say no as they only went about a third as dark as the control line. I definitely didn't miss it with the opks as I checked each time I went for a wee on the important dates. This is my 1st month charting and am struggling a little.

rose I'm sorry about not ovulating. Your chart certainly makes it look like you didn't Sad. What does provera do? Does it bring on af? Have you had a Hycosy before? They are said to be good for fertility (if you are ovulating) because of the damage it causes trying to repair brings more blood to the area or something like that? Are you having that on nhs? Anxious times for you taking clomid again, would they not entertain Fermara? You didn't have any vision problems with that did you? Although am I right in thinking you didn't ovulate either and it was this cycle for your 1st try? I hope you have a better time with the clomid this time around. What happens if you have problems with your eyes again? Will you just stop taking it or have to go to a&e? It certainly is an exciting time and getting things sorted over Xmas is great! What does menopur do? Is this for fully blown IVF you're preparing for? If so, do you think you'll be able to get the transfer done before Xmas? Best of luck with it all. Keep in touch. Everything crossed for you Smile

sunny your chart is looking great! Your opk's seem to be good at helping you predict ov as well as ff so all in all great news! Fingers crossed for you for this cycle! How long have you been off the pill?

pcr are you still sick? Do you think it will go by 12w? Or are you past then? I'm a bit mad for wishing for sickness, I'm sure I'll take that back if I get it.

Good luck ladies! Flowers

Bloods went well! Such a relief! I've attached a pic that shows what they should be.

Mon was 4w1d 168
Wed was 4w3d 300

She is printing me another blood test form for next week too which I'll get done on Monday. Conservatively thinking I would hope it will be at 1200 as a minimum if things are progressing as they should.

So long as I don't get any red we will be able to get a scan at 6w!

It is looking very positive however the brown spotting has been particularly prevalent the last 2 days so who knows??

Ive also attached the hpts from the last few days. The bottom one is the strongest but they seem to be fading in my book after they have been done for a few hours so the images of the earlier ones aren't totally true. It's all looking very positive and I'm trying to stay positive but it's terrifying every time I go to the loo.

It's fingers crossed time!!

Aw vap0 glad the bloods went well and lines definitely look like they are getting darker. I know you won't be able to relax but all seems to be going well at the moment! Fingers crossed for you. Xx

RoseBud2015 · 29/11/2015 09:14

Hi Sunny Yes you could be right about the late ov- Only thing is i usually get ov pains in the run up and I don't have anything at all so I'm pretty sure this cycle is going to be a write off but you're right I should give it a few more days just to be sure. In answer to your question, I think late ov does decrease the chances of successful implantation, but as you say at least you ov'ed which is a great first step! Smile I have PCOS, diagnosed at 15 years old- why the suspicions?

Vap Everything seems to be pointing in the right direction for you! This is fab news. I really hope your bloods on Monday show the magic 1200 or more so you can start to relax a little (I know it will never happen fully for any of us!) and enjoy being preg. Hopefully the brown spotting is just that little embie burrowing its way deep into the lining, nice and snug! Smile

Yeah provera brings on AF- I was taking it every cycle before I started ov'ing a few cycles a go. I've never had a HyCoSy before but on a couple of my follicle tracking scans some fluid has been spotted that shouldn't be there so I think its important I get it investigated before I start IVF to check there is nothing wrong with my lining. I've heard the same thing about increased fertility too- fingers crossed Smile
Because Femara isn't registered as a fertility drug, most clinics wont even entertain its use instead of clomid. I had to really push my UK NHS consultant to let me try it. But as it turns out, it doesn't do anything for me so I think clomid with menopur is the right 'next step'. MENOPUR is an injection used in IVF. It contains follicle stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone activity. These hormones stimulate healthy ovaries to make eggs. I'm not sure why they are suggesting this alongside clomid but hopefully the doctor will explain more in Mondays email! I think realistically we are looking at January or possibly even Feb for our first round of IVF. x

Vap0 · 29/11/2015 09:40

Bet you can't wait for Monday's email. Thanks for all of the explanations of what all the drugs do. So many people talk about them all the time but have never explained it quite as easily. I had a Hycosy quite a while back, it's not as bad as people say, don't google it or people will terrify you. When I had mine I was back to work straight after with no pain after the event. The procedure itself starts like a smear but then the firing of dye through your tubes does hurt but only for seconds. And just think any pain you have will be a positive side as pain means there is something that needs to be repaired which is what promotes extra fertility. Are you managing to get it on NHS? A few days after mine I also had a whole load of brown sludge appear in my pants but now I know it was just old blood and probably whatever the dye was, at the time I was terrified. They are certainly worth having. When you have it done ask if they can point out any follicles to you and if possible measure them. I suppose this depends on the time of the month you have it done.

How is your chart looking today sunny?

Good line on hpt again today at 5w. We passed my perceived danger day yesterday which is a relief and I seem to be feeling a lot calmer than before. Let's hope it lasts. Looking forward to having my blood test tomorrow, who looks forward to blood tests? Ha. And my arms are both badly bruised from Monday and wednsdays as I have awkward wonky veins.

Sunnydays321 · 29/11/2015 10:52

Vapo. Really glad all seems to be going well. That's good news about getting to 5 weeks, and dark lines on test. Good luck with scan tomorrow.

Rose, I don't have any evidence for pcos really. But irregular cycles (I know Iv come off pill recently as well but last time I came off pill I have one period in a year. Acne, never really had it as a teenager, only as an adult.. Much worse off pill. And lots of pelvic pain most of cycle really. Feels like milder o pain. No excess hair and normal bmi (although a bit on the squishier side) Smile

Temp same today pretty much as yesterday. Ff saying 8dpo today but I'm still tempted to think it's slightly less than that. Sore nipples but had that last month. Nothing else to report :(
X

Sunnydays321 · 29/11/2015 10:54

Sorry vapo, didn't mean scan! Bloods.

MrsPCR · 29/11/2015 16:29

Good luck tomorrow Vap0!

Sunnydays321 · 30/11/2015 14:27

When will you gets your results vapo? Good luck today. X

RoseBud2015 · 30/11/2015 18:16

Vap Any news on those bloods? Thinking of you!

I have just received my protocol via email from Reprofit and I think it is the mini IVF protocol with low stimulation drugs to avoid OHSS.
I haven't received my prescription yet but have been told it will follow shortly so now everything is becoming very real and I'm freaking out a little bit! I feel completely out of my depth. Next step is to source my own drugs!

Vap0 · 30/11/2015 18:54

Hi rose do they give you a prescription for the drugs? How do you source them yourself? Sounds very scary but at the same time exciting! When will you start taking the drugs?

Is the temp still up sunny?

I've just had my blood taken and expect results on Friday. Hoping like mad they are 1200+. Had a mega stressful time back to work today after my sick week last week. My boss is a total dick and has given me a massively hard time for being off and quizzing me about my illness which of course I'm not telling him about which irritated him more. Argh! Hoping the stress of today hasn't had a bad effect on things! Spottinghas eased off today, still a little this morning but none now. You'll think I'm mad but now I'm scared the spotting has stopped as that's what happens before mc 1. I think this is just going to be stressful until I see that heartbeat.

Thanks for all of the well wishes ladies! Will be back in touch with the blood results on Friday! Everything crossed!

Sunnydays321 · 30/11/2015 19:54

Fingers crossed vapo for your blood results. That's horrible that your boss is being like that, don't let it get to you. X

Sunnydays321 · 01/12/2015 06:46

Hi. Rose I completely missed your post about your prescription. That sounds a bit overwhelming, sourcing own drugs etc. I have seen (when Iv been nosing) on the infertility board, and the berries thread people talk about cheapest pharmacies to source Ivf drugs, might be worth an ask on those threads. Exciting!

My temp dipped right down to cover line today. Either late implantation or short literal phase and AF is on her way, felt really pms yesterday and cramping so think I might be out. Just got to wait and see what next couple of days bring. X

Any temping experts fancy having a look at my chart?
MrsPCR · 01/12/2015 18:29

Be hopeful! Implantation dip! Fingers crossed it's back up tomorrow!

Vap0 · 02/12/2015 08:03

Sunnydays321 · 02/12/2015 08:13

Temp did go back up... But AF has definitely arrived this morning. Along with some lovely cramps! Definitely not spotting. But that's ok, I feel positive. last cycle was 98 and this one is 52, so hopefully going in right direction. And get to eat and drink all the good stuff over Xmas. I think my next chance will not be until after Xmas as I can't see this cycle being "normal" length. Not going to start temping again until I start opks again. That will give me a couple of weeks off. I'm sure my sleep has been more disrupted temping coz I'm subconsciously thinking about temping so every time I wake up in the night (which is a lot, normal for me) I worry about when to temp, how long Iv been asleep etc. just going to enjoy this 2 weeks off. Xx

Vap0 · 02/12/2015 11:51

sunny sorry about af but at least there is that positive of being able to enjoy loads of blue cheese, pate, soft boiled eggs and booze over Xmas. Such a long cycle. Can dr's do anything to help bring them down? Best of luck with opk's. P.s. When you're picking them make sure you read reviews as I had a pack of 59 which were duff and really affected my mental state. I settled on the CB ones but at £2 per stick it will be super expensive for such a long cycle so they probably won't be ideal for you.

No news here. Just called dr's in the hope I may get my blood results early, no luck. She said they should be back for tomorrow so will try then and see what they say. Not holding my breath for them giving them to me as they wouldn't without me speaking with the dr last time. Had loads more brown spotting today and yesterday. Not sure what to think. Hpts are looking good though so just hoping I'm a weirdo who just spots in early pregnancy.m the positive side it that it's brown and not red. Just so eager to hear about these results and get booked in for a scan next week.

How are you getting on rose

Are you due another scan at all pcr

OP posts:
MrsPCR · 02/12/2015 18:30

Fingers crossed for the results tomorrow Vap! Brown spotting is normally fine as it's old gunk so fingers crossed it stays brown or disappears. A lot of people spot and have perfectly healthy babies at the end.

Sorry to hear AF has arrived Sunny. Fingers crossed your cycles are at least shortening to give you a better shot at fertile window! I used pound land OPK strips. Pack of 5. They were very reliable and could justify £1-2 a month.

MrsPCR · 02/12/2015 18:30

Oh fingers crossed no more scans for me! Nearly 24 weeks now so will only be growth scans.

RoseBud2015 · 02/12/2015 20:07

Sorry for AF Sunny Flowers Onto the next cycle! On the positive side your chart had a lovely clear pattern. Lets hope your next cycle is shorter x

Fingers crossed for your bloods Vap How are you feeling symptom wise?

I got my prescription emailed to me on Tuesday and have been emailing different pharmacies for quotes. The cheapest by far is Reprofit's own pharmacy at £165 inc postage! I was budgeting for closer to £1000 so very, very happy with that. It's low because we will be on such low levels of stimulation drugs.

CD22 for me. Defo no ov this cycle and no sign of it on it's way- my chart looks crappy. So I'm going to start provera tomorrow or Friday and move onto the next cycle. Need to get a HyCoSy booked in for beginning of next cycle. We will then TTC naturally next cycle before IVF starts in January! I love a plan!

So sorry vap There are no words ...... Flowers

Sunnydays321 · 03/12/2015 19:33

Oh vap0. How much is there? How many weeks are you? Any pain. Have you spoken to your GP, if you haven't you can speak to 111 tonight (or the out of hours doctor number) in your area and get a referral to EPAC. Lots of people bleed and go onto have normal pregnancies. Look after your self lovely xx
