We have been so busy chatting I've started a new thread. Welcome all 10+ ladies. Hope we all have some luck on this thread.

I'm not sure Panda. We have our appointment with the Dr on 22 January so I guess we will find out then, hopefully it won't be too long. Re the AMH, the result will only be high if you have pcos, not if you only have pco. My AMH is within the normal range. The Dr. at our clinic said that around 1 in 5 women have pco but not full blown pcos and the vast majority of women aren't aware as it only affects fertility when you have ovulation problems.

Sorry AF got you too Lucie. I didn't really learn anything at the fertility show, however I went to a couple of talks and I left feeling a lot more positive than when I arrived. There was a talk about coping strategies - a lot of metaphors about keeping your fuel tank full and rough seas which I liked. And also a talk by a cognitive hypnotist titled 'the fertile mind' there's loads of stuff on-line if you google it. It's not for everyone but I found it helpful.

Don't be scared Sammy, transfer it absolutely fine. I'm excited for you, not long to go now Smile

How frustrating Itsme, hopefully phoning up will speed things along a bit.

lucieloos · 17/11/2015 12:24

Thanks trixie that sounds interesting. Do you know if any of the presentations for the seminars are online. The first one caught my eye about whether embryoscope and genetic testing are all they cracked up to be.

Trixie thanks for that. It's kinda what I thought as I only had like 15 on one side and 16 on the other whereas my understanding was if you had full blown PCOS you'd have loads more than that. Also I don't have any of the other symptoms and I appear to ovulate. I'll see what she says when we talk next Thursday.

Just found out someone at work is pregnant, took 2 months, had to dash off to the loo. Happy for them, sad for everyone who finds it much more difficult.

Trixietwenty16 · 17/11/2015 13:41

I don't think so. I was kind of expecting there to be a print out but there wasn't. I took some notes about immunology but came out of that one a bit Confused as there was one Dr arguing for testing/treatment and another arguing against - still going ahead with my tests though as it won't do any harm. I went on the Saturday and there were quite a few talks I would have been interested in on the Sunday and some of the Saturday ones were sold out by the time I booked. Hopefully next year I won't need to go.

Hi ladies, quick question:
I know for if cycles they usually say 18 days until you can test, but I've just thought that surely as I'm not taking any drugs then ad will be due to arrive about 9 days after transfer.... My question is how long does it really take for the trigger to be out your system? Xx

lucieloos · 17/11/2015 17:19

Hi Sammy, not long to go now! I tested my trigger out and I think it was gone by about 4 or 5 days. Why don't you do a couple of tests today and tomorrow before the transfer that way you will know for sure it's gone.

OP posts:
loopylou1984 · 17/11/2015 17:28

Thanks Lucie. I've just done one and there is a very definite second line so it's not out my system yet. I'm not even sure I'll test, but just want to be sure that if I do I won't get a false result. Will try again on Thursday before the transfer. Xx

lucieloos · 17/11/2015 18:01

Mine was definitely put just after my transfer so yes keep trying.

Good luck today Sammy, will check back later to see how you got on.

loopylou1984 · 19/11/2015 10:40

Thanks Trixie - the embryologist just called and our embryo has thawed with no problems so far so good! Xx

loopylou1984 · 19/11/2015 14:21

So I'm now PUPO. It's weird, it doesn't feel real. But the blast is in, and test date is dec 2nd... Although given that it's a completely natural cycle af will rock up before then if it isn't successful.

I'm not even on progesterone as lining was fine, and he said that prog can actually thin the lining. Xx

Trixietwenty16 · 19/11/2015 14:56

Congratulations on being PUPO Sammy! Have everything crossed for you Smile

lucieloos · 19/11/2015 15:04

That's great news Sammy! Congrats on being pupo! How thick was your lining in the end? xx

OP posts:
loopylou1984 · 19/11/2015 15:06

He didn't say and I forgot to ask! Lol. But thick enough is all that matters :). Xx

Salimali15 · 21/11/2015 19:28

Pardon my ignorance - am not very good with the acronyms, but what does PUPO stand for?

AF due today and no sign of it or my usually PMS. Trying not to get too excited.

lucieloos · 21/11/2015 20:40

Oh fingers crossed sali! PUPO is pregnant until proven otherwise.

OP posts:
Salimali15 · 21/11/2015 21:20

Ahhhhhhhhh! That makes sense. x

Salimali15 · 22/11/2015 20:28

AF has arrived Sad. Don't know why I held a vain hope that it would somehow miraculously work this month. Oh well, IUI, here I come!

lucieloos · 22/11/2015 20:44

Sorry to hear that sali. Good luck with the iui x

OP posts:
Trixietwenty16 · 23/11/2015 11:58

Sorry AF arrived Sali, it's hard not to get excited.

How are you doing Sammy?

I've got my hysteroscopy and NK tests tomorrow, feeling a bit nervous but hopefully will be ok.

lucieloos · 23/11/2015 12:03

Oh good luck trixie I'm sure it will be ok. Will be good to get those done.
