Boggle Hurrah for AF coming so that you can start another round of clomid and get going again! Hope you're in 'full flow' soon
and that your tummy gets better too.
Shout out to Ella Any news my lovely?
Amy We all know that feeling that a really low progesterone score can give.
Don't give up and keep at it. Things happen when you least expect them to.
How are you doing Moomin? Good I hope.
Wave to Robber even though you're offline. Hope meeting the deadlines isn't too gruelling and that you have a fab trip away.
Yesterday, I had my 24 week midwife appointment and strangely, just before we set off for it, my body decided to bleed.
After I'd been to the loo to produce my urine sample, I wiped and there was bright red blood on the tissue- at least a couple of big drops. So we went to the appointment and I told her and she booked me straight into the ante-natal day unit at the hospital. Before I went, she listened to baby's heartbeat which was still good and strong, which was a relief. Anyway, we went to the hospital and we were there for 3 hours!
They listened to the heartbeat again and I had a blood test to check for baby's platelets in my blood. I also had an internal examination from a junior doctor, who said that my cervix looked tightly closed and she couldn't see any cause for the bleed. Because I'd had a bleed, I then had to have an anti-D injection because I'm rhesus negative blood type and apparently a bleed can make you produce anti-bodies which will affect a positive blood type baby, and then we came home.
Today I had some pink tinges when wiping, and a couple of hours ago I had right red drops again. I feel ok (I think) so I'm just going to monitor it. I did ring the midwives earlier and they told me to ring anti-natal but there's no answer, so I'll leave it tonight and call again tomorrow if there's more blood. Sorry for the long post, I'm home alone tonight as DH is at work, so I needed to type it all out and get it off my chest! I'm ok, just a bit fed up! x x x
