Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2458534-Prtys-Gang-and-The-Festival-of-Foof-Fun-when-they-not-being-cray-cray?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Thanks Shary

My luteal phase according to Ovia is 12 days.

MummyBex1985 · 11/10/2015 10:18

Tested this morning (CD25) and yet another BFN Sad

So fed up of seeing nothing, feeling really sad today Sad

PrtyPsn · 11/10/2015 11:28

Honestly shary I have no clue, I've been working on the 14 day average but if my bleed was MC then it's either 10 days or more like 16... not even sure I bloody ovulate half the time!
2 days late now, nothing new to report :(
(Holds bex hand) we are in this together, my lovely, know exactly what you mean because I feel like absolute crap (throws a blanket around us and busts out the big guns - two tins of Quality Street)

Morning foofnetters!
Read back but now can't remember anything so I'll just leave these bacon and egg sarnies here and bog off again x

themoo · 11/10/2015 11:59

shary 14 days. 26 day cycle, ov usually on day 12.

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 11/10/2015 12:13

I think my LP is 12-13 days Shary.

MummyBex1985 · 11/10/2015 13:18

(Hapiily scoffs down both the sarnies and full tin of quality street)

The first post I saw on FB this morning was an acquaintance showing off her massive baby bump vomit and to make things worse we've been putting off telling friends we won't be going on their joint stag/hen do next year (was hoping to be pregnant or due around then) and now I'm not sure what to tell them. There's still a chance I could be PG but without having that as an excuse (they don't know we are TTC) I'll just look like a massive asshole by saying I'm not going.

Prty I now understand how crap you feel, to anyone else I'd say you're not out until you know you're out but this month I think I just know. Kinda makes it worse in a way because you can't even start again for three weeks. Ugh.

Pity party over now. Sorry.

PrtyPsn · 11/10/2015 14:39

Yep, hit the nail on the head bex feels like a huge waste of 6 weeks right now with 3 still to go :/
I've got a hen do dilemma too, keep getting pressured to book my place but nobody knows we are TTC... I really don't wanna have to say no or lie but I can't book it for next year, it's just not practical.

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 11/10/2015 15:35

Planning things like that is a proper arse - it's a friends 30th soon and the plan is currently to buy her a spa day as a present for a group of us to go together - at the back of mind I'm thinking "I might be pregnant - then I won't be able to go!" but well....I might not be. People always say you can't put your life on hold, and of course you can't, but it's hard to know what to do when you have to commit money to things.

MummyBex1985 · 11/10/2015 16:37

I don't think you should put your life on hold for other people but if there's a financial cost involved it's different - it's just impossible to explain to people (they'd probably think we were crazy not agreeing to do something in a years time just in case we are PG when they don't know about TTC!)

Oh well, maybe they'll be equally as cray cray one day and then they'll get it Grin

neetie1 · 11/10/2015 17:04

Hey all...well 7DFAFD and no symptoms except headaches, very slight soreness of boobs on and off so thinking maybe this isnt the month but not sure still should see some kind of action this week as AF is meant to be next sunday and I rarely go to day 28.

SharyBobbins · 11/10/2015 18:09

Thanks for your feedback about LP ladies. -ve OPK again this afternoon (I use a CBAFM in the morning, cheapie OPKs in the afternoon not that I'm POAS mad or anything....
Writing this cycle off before it's began if I'm honest. Think it might be one of those anovulatory cycles Angry

MrsKittenPie · 11/10/2015 20:18

Hi everyone, hope you've all had nice weekends. Sorry to anyone who's feeling down at the moment, that's where I am at the moment too. Feel a bit lost to be honest. I'm sick of the whole ttc thing.
To join in the planning things conversation- it's difficult isn't it. You don't want to have to tell people why you don't want to do things but it's difficult to say no sometimes.
shary - I think when I was ovulating my luteal phase was 12 days.

Pirsy1 · 11/10/2015 20:42

Shary I'm not sure about my luteal phase, but based on when I have used OPKs I think it is 14 days

I'm sorry for everyone feeling down at the moment. TTC is very draining. Bex I know what you mean about the BFNs, I have sort of known every time I have POAS that it is going to be a BFN. I just don't understand how some people make it look so easy. I would say to avoid Facebook, it is always full of bumps, pregnant announcements and newborns!

Non-TTC news we saw a house today that we both really like. DH is ringing up in the morning to put an offer in!

MrsKittenPie · 11/10/2015 20:52

pirsy - ttc is so draining. I've known that too with all my BFNs. I am happy to say I have never bothered with Facebook and I imagine it is full of scan and bump pictures which would really hurt.
Exciting news about the house, fingers crossed your offer is accepted!

glitterpoppy · 11/10/2015 20:53

Hi everyone.. shary based on my ovia app my luteal phase is 11 days.

Good news about the house pirsy fingers crossed your offer is accepted. I work in estate agency so love talking houses Grin

My Facebook has been full of people moaning about their kids this weekend.. Makes me annoyed, they should be thankful they have them. Going to try not go on as much.

Bringing Doritos to the table whilst X factor is on....

themoo · 11/10/2015 20:58

Evening all bends knees like policeman

Today we have replaced 4 sockets (including digging out holes in the walls for the backboxes, filling, sanding and all the rest of the buggering about, and repaired a plasterboard ceiling. Bloody dust everywhere. The joys of new houses eh?
Dinner therefore is pizza (pizza express from Tesco though. Posh!) and perchance a chip or two. Too knackered to do anything else.

themoo · 11/10/2015 20:59

Sorry, that post had nothing to do with TTC did it?

#justchattingisthatok

MrsKittenPie · 11/10/2015 21:05

moo - I know the annoying thing about dust everywhere - we're having major renovations in our house at the moment and the dust is everywhere!! I mopped the floors today to get rid of it then when it dries was bloody dusty again so had to mop it again!!
Dinner sounds yum Grin
Just chatting is good too, otherwise I'd just be moaning about my stupid body!!

themoo · 11/10/2015 21:10

We're just gearing up for the major renovation kitten - knocked through kitchen and dining room, next up gutting the whole room, plastering and electrics, then a complete new kitchen, including tiled floor etc.
But, like a pair of mentalists, we're doing it all ourselves.
No kitchen for 3 weeks at the end of the month! Gah!

themoo · 11/10/2015 21:12

PS my body is officially more stupid than all of yours put together. Unless any of you have half your intestines missing as well (don't even ask).

Pirsy1 · 11/10/2015 21:28

I really hope our offer is accepted too! The house needs some work but is on a lovely street ... I would do a link for you to look at it but it's not even on rightmove yet. At least this is giving me something else to focus on!

On the just chatting theme - has anyone watched Unforgotten yet? I watched it last night, it was good I think but DH was on nights and I felt a bit scared when I went to bed.

themoo · 11/10/2015 21:29

Ooh pirsy I do like a good nose on rightmove!

Good luck with it all x new houses are so exciting

MrsKittenPie · 11/10/2015 21:41

moo - sounds similar to us - we've done a new kitchen, then loft conversion now just knocked through so dining room and lounge are one room, I'm absolutely sick of falling over things or leaving house covered in dust etc etc, will be so glad when it's all done. We've done most of it ourselves too! I feel your pain about no kitchen soon though - it's bloody horrible (but worth it in the end) Smile
Half your intestines missing sounds an interesting story you can share if you ever feel like it! My body has gone on strike - literally - the last 2 months I've not had af just a bit of brown spotting - WTF is going on in there I'll never know - it's not the pill as have been off it since June last year and sadly ttc the entire time - just weird.
Ooh pirsy I like a good nose on right move too! Can you ask them to put it on so we can see?! Grin
I've skyplussed Unforgotten so haven't seen it yet but yes try to avoid scary stuff when dh on nights!

PrtyPsn · 11/10/2015 21:53

Pahahaha I'm surprised it took us to thread 3 to be just chatting! Nice use of a hashtag btw, I'm a massive Twitter addict!
I don't do anything scary TV wise so not seen Unfirgiven.
Curiosity peaked by half of an intestine and the chance to have a nose on Rightmove!
Dinner this evening was a traditional pork roast :)
