Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2458534-Prtys-Gang-and-The-Festival-of-Foof-Fun-when-they-not-being-cray-cray?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Congrats stripes sooo did you feel any different or did you just feel like af was coming.
This was the first month I 'knew' I was OV on my own as boobs hurt that day and sure enough got a solid smiley.

Grr thing I hate about the TWW.... the waiting ;P

Stripes1983 · 07/10/2015 19:48

Well I had symptoms but they were what I've had for AF at some point! Although boobs were soo sore, hurt even to walk with a bra on, and cried at work on Monday which isn't like me, but nothing that made me think I was really ! Fx the next 2 wks go quick and you get your BFP at the end!

themoo · 07/10/2015 20:05

Prty don't be so sure... Structurally, LH and HCG are fairly similar, so of your opk is a real cheapie and not very specific it could be picking up HCG... (I am a clinical biochemist by the way).
I have everything crossed for you xx

MrsKittenPie · 07/10/2015 20:38

prty - I'm also keeping everything crossed for you. You've got such will power too - I'd have caved by now Blush

tay13 · 07/10/2015 20:40

Congrats Stripes Smile Lovely to hear some positive news!!! xxx

DBAFD 1, think it'll arrive tomorrow with the mild cramps I've been getting today... If by some massive unlikely reason it doesn't arrive then will POAS next week.

Stripes1983 · 07/10/2015 21:05

Thanks tay fx for you - I've had mild AF type pains for the last week so doesn't mean it's def on its way :)

PrtyPsn · 07/10/2015 21:11

Hahaha thanks, my lovelies... the OPK was a kinda mini cheat early test and the CM was bugging me. I just feel like there must be something wrong with me, pg seems like a pipe dream most days and it's just hard to keep going sometimes :/

OP posts:
MrsKittenPie · 07/10/2015 21:15

tay - fingers crossed for you too. Like stripes says cramps could mean a good thing not necessarily af.
I do envy you all knowing where you are in your cycle. Having had another non really starting af and bfns I've no idea what's going on, it's like my body has decided not to bother ovulating anymore and it's so rubbish. Even my app fertility friend has given up on me!

MrsKittenPie · 07/10/2015 21:21

prty - I know what you mean - it is hard to keep going sometimes but that's the beauty of your lovely thread, we're all here to support each other. I feel like I'll be the only one left on this thread as I think I've been ttc the longest here so my chances are getting lower. You'll be fine though lovely and your bfp could be waiting for you this weekend x

PrtyPsn · 07/10/2015 21:25

Thanks kitten don't know what I'd do without all my lovelies :)
I know I've got no right to whinge when I'm only 7ish cycles in (we started TTC just after FW and while things were settling we were missing FW for a cycle or two) I've just never noticed how long a month is!

Stripes, I'm so happy for you!! Congratulations to you and your DH!

MummyBex1985 · 07/10/2015 21:58

Amazing news stripes, congrats! Nice strong line too!

(Not jealous. At all.)

Stripes1983 · 07/10/2015 22:59

Thank you pirsy & bex xx

pinky17 · 07/10/2015 23:03

Congratulations, stripes! FX'd this is a good sign for the thread, esp for those due to POAS this weekend.

Nibbles on cookies

Stil, waiting for proof I've ov'd over here. No change in BBT, so no idea what's going on. It's possible I ov'd right before the mirina came out (based on a few AF like bleeds I had over the summer), but I'm not convinced I'm pg - not really got any symptoms at all, and we'd have had to be incredibly lucky. Still, will POAS two weeks on Sunday to be sure if no AF by then.

Just wish work wasn't stressing me out too - I'm exhausted with all the anxiety this week.

glitterpoppy · 08/10/2015 07:50

I hear ya sweetrose my works exactly the same.. Had insomnia some nights this week as I'm stressing so much which isn't helping me at all. Had a stern word with myself and I'm going to try a more carefree approach!

Woo hoo Stripes! Looking forward to sharing the pregnancy journey with you! Grin My estimated due date is 5th June, you got any idea what yours is?

PrtyPsn · 08/10/2015 08:06

Morning all!
DBAFD 1... nothing much to report, some vague twinges last night, kinda right region for AF but not the right kinda pain, I know that doesn't make much sense! Crazy CM still... thinking of packing a pg test for the weekend so can still POAS as planned on Sat...

OP posts:
neetie1 · 08/10/2015 12:46

I get so worried we might never get there because of my age (43) but am telling myself this is the month..no proof lol just thinking positive

MrsKittenPie · 08/10/2015 13:32

prty - definitely pack that test - we all want to know!!

PrtyPsn · 08/10/2015 13:55

I'm a big believer in the power of positive thinking neetie it will happen for you x
Hahaha kitten have dispatched OH to supermarket to buy a test (or ten) to take! Feeling like I wanna POAS tonight now though... can someone slap me please?

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 08/10/2015 14:05

I would just do it Prty but I have no willpower!

I'm pretty sure I'm ovulating right now. I got a Peak on the monitor this morning, but I've got the telltale weird pain in my side. I think my LH surges must be pretty short! Luckily we DTD last night.

MrsKittenPie · 08/10/2015 14:25

prty - I'm the last person to ask for help with willpower!! If I were you I'd be snatching the test from dh as soon as he walked through the door....... Surely one won't hurt?!
Yey for ovulation youandme Grin

PrtyPsn · 08/10/2015 18:14
