Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2458534-Prtys-Gang-and-The-Festival-of-Foof-Fun-when-they-not-being-cray-cray?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

pirsy sorry to hear of AF
flowers it only takes one bout of DTD so you never know, my lovely FXd

neetie1 · 01/11/2015 14:28

Well for me it's 7dpo do decided to poas just to see. Gave myself a heart attack as thought I saw two lines. But was just the edge of the paper and not a line. .lol
Ah well early days yet. Af not due till 13th but will test next weekend as that will be two weeks.

funnybeanz · 01/11/2015 17:28

Hi all, MrsFlowers you never know, the one DTD you did manage may just be the one! Must be hard when you or partner works shifts though.
question for you all - do you tell your partners about your fertile time/when you think you've ovulate etc? Or do you just try to initiate DTD at the right times? I've done a bit of both, sometimes get a bit annoyed when DP doesn't obsess about it as much as I do, eg if it's not his first thought whether I'm in my fertile time!! But it does make it all seem a bit clinical scheduling DTD. Also tried to just initate at the right time, but then get a bit annoyed when it doesn't work, then DP says I have to tell him. Hmm all adds to the frustrations of ttc I guess!
Neetie - fx for testing next week!

PrtyPsn · 01/11/2015 18:20

beanz I've tried a few tactics:
I've quite blatantly told him ie 'oi, get on it this week if you want a baby' right at the start of fertile window
I've not mentioned it and just initiated more than usual (but sometimes he realises pretty quickly what's going on)
I've not mentioned it until my sexual prowess starts to fail then I just say 'we've only got a few more days left for this month'
It's a tricky one because he doesn't always do well under pressure but obviously don't wanna miss out!
Now I tend to play it by ear and see how well he responds at the first extra initiation and take it from there

Hi everyone.. I've been a little bit absent this weekend!

Still no sign of AF, onto cd40 Confused I'm keeping my fx that this cycle isn't as long as the last one, really hope they settle soon as TTC is hard enough anyway!

Hope you all are having a lovely weekend!! Flowers

SharyBobbins · 01/11/2015 18:35

Pirsy thanks for telling me about your PCOS. I'm glad you're having periods regularly that must be a good sign Smile I've had about 6 periods in 10 months which isn't too bad. They'd actually settled in to a pretty predictable 43 day cycle until this random one! I'm on CD53 now! I think my boobs get sore before AF but I don't remember them being this sore. I think I'll have a monster AF this time Confused 11dpo today, my LP was 12 days last cycle so I guess she's on her way Confused I think my temperature is on its way down (although I didn't sleep well last night so that may have had an impact?).

Beanz I tell OH when I'm due to ovulate/ovulating. He doesn't seem to feel the pressure but I do think he enjoys it a little less Hmm

neetie1 · 01/11/2015 20:07

My OH used to ask when my fertile time was to avoid it now he asks me when it is so we don't avoid it ;)

MummyBex1985 · 01/11/2015 21:00

beanz I don't tell DH, but I'm pretty sure he figures it out lol.

The only thing he asks is when I'll know if we are PG or not and seems content with a vague answer rather than the precise dates in my own head Grin

MrsFlowers82 · 01/11/2015 22:08

Beanz I tell my OH. I have tried a few different tactics but he knows what I am up to! Blush The good news is we managed to DTD when I got back from the lunch and before he went to work! He initiated it so I think knowing does motivate him.

Hope you aren't waiting too long Shary and Glitter. I'm crossing my fingers for you both that AF stays away and you get some good news!

glitterpoppy · 02/11/2015 07:29

Morning all.. Thanks for the positive thoughts! Still no AF on cd41, definitely not PG so just the waiting game now till AF comes. Dreamt that I went to the doctors last night and told him about it and he was going to have a word with his senior and come back to me, it's even affecting my dreams now!!

My other friend text me last night too to tell me she was PG.. Felt gutted strike #2!

Hope everyone else is ok this gloomy Monday!!

PrtyPsn · 02/11/2015 08:12

poppy that's a whole bunch of crappy news :( I hate pg related dreams - if they are horrid ones with BFN then it's too much like real life & if they are nice ones with a baby or BFP then it just reminds you what you haven't got when you wake up :(

Pirsy1 · 02/11/2015 08:44

Flowers well done on the DTD. Fingers crossed!

Poppy that is rubbish. Keep your chin up - I hope that it will be your turn soon! In the meantime have a Brew and some Cake.

Well I was working this weekend so feeling tired today. Haven't got much on this afternoon so planning to leave work early to go to the doctors.

MumTumgot · 02/11/2015 09:58

Hi ladies ... Looking for advise ... Was a member and regular poster back in 2011... Long story short
1dd (16years) 3 mc (hence joining here) 1ds(2.5 years) 1mc dec 2014 and last Monday poas and bfp again ...
Issue being all mc have been early. 3 didn't get as far as heartbeat but body didn't cotton on and continued being pregs had to have erpcs. Last mc got heartbeat at 6 weeks by 8 weeks no more ....
So forward to now ... Bfp Monday last week clear blue says 1-2 weeks just to check did another test yesterday and still the same ... To me the levels should raised.. And should by yesterday be showing 2-3 weeks... I strongly suspect levels not increasing so failing again ....really don't want this again ... Anyone think the dates are ok to still be showing as 1-2 weeks ???
Last af 28th sept so due 26th October and support welcomed ...

PrtyPsn · 02/11/2015 11:25

Hi MumT thanks for sharing your story, sorry to hear of your losses.
Can see why BFP is so difficult for you. I'm afraid I can't offer much knowledge, maybe your body just takes a long time to produce hcg? I can totally see why you are worried, it could be nothing though. It's hard but try not to POAS too much, see how things go, there's nothing you can change at this point, lovely x

So I went to the doctors today and really glad I went! The doctor was lovely and very sympathetic. Have forms to do bloods and husband needs to do sperm sample and then can think about referral to a fertility clinic if don't manage to get pregnant in the meantime. I was surprised to hear that the waiting times aren't too long either.

SharyBobbins · 02/11/2015 19:29

That's great news Pirsy! So glad it went well Smile

MrsKittenPie · 02/11/2015 19:30

Hi everyone!
Sorry I've been absent for a couple of days. Was waiting for af to bugger off which it has now so onwards and upwards with this new cycle. Am going to stay positive this month I've decided that is my new tactic Smile
Have been taking temps - my chart looks like Rocky Mountains but never mind - it's all new to me. Am looking forward to seeing if it will show ovulation or not.
prty - my cycle buddy - are you getting ready for fertile week too?! I've been basted tonight and have warned dh he's not going to get a night off now til next week! Blush wishful thinking I think but we'll see!
Going to read back for a catch up now......

MrsKittenPie · 02/11/2015 19:32

pirsy - am glad it went well at the doctors - that all will take you closer to your bfp Smile

MrsKittenPie · 02/11/2015 19:36

glitter- sorry for the babybomb Sad, I suspect a couple of my friends are pregnant and am just bracing myself to cope with the announcements- I feel so bad for feeling that way but I can't help it

funnybeanz · 02/11/2015 19:36

Pleased that your GP appointment went well Pirsy and good to hear the waiting times aren't too long. How are you feeling now? Bit more positive? Maybe it feels better knowing something is starting to get done. Remind me, how long have you been ttc?

PrtyPsn · 02/11/2015 19:38

pirsy that's fab news, happy for you :) X
kitten I'm gearing up for that special week ;) CD9 today, was gonna start OPK but forgot haha! 32 day cycle so should start testing around CD14 but prob start tomorrow

Oh, and if we are keeping count - another family pregnancy announcement today... swear to god I'm just gonna blow at the next one!!!

OP posts:
Pirsy1 · 02/11/2015 20:08

Thanks for the kind messages everyone! Yes I do feel more positive now. I was a bit nervous going in but the GP was really easy to talk to. We have been TTC for 13 months, although for a long time I was working away during the week which may have reduced our chances, but she said we might as well get the ball rolling with tests etc now which was really good.

Prty you seem to have had a barrage of baby announcements recently you poor thing, does anyone in your family know that you're TTC?

MrsKittenPie · 02/11/2015 20:16

pirsy - your gp sounds lovely, bet you feel much better now Smile

SharyBobbins · 02/11/2015 20:46

Kitten love the phrase 'baby bomb' to describe other peoples pregnancy news! Glad we can support each other when said bombs go off!
