Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain anything but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

And our most recent thread here -

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2458534-Prtys-Gang-and-The-Festival-of-Foof-Fun-when-they-not-being-cray-cray?pg=1&order=

We are symptoms spotters extraordinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

themoo · 17/10/2015 09:41

Morning everyone.
Sorry for the BFN Prty Sad
Today I'll mainly be buying more hpts to check if this actually is real...

So it's John Wayne vs Les Dawson in The Great British Pee Off and Prty's judging... get ready to be basted, lovelies!
PrtyPsn · 17/10/2015 09:57

Is this a new test moo?!
Afraid I am out lovelies, the longer AF takes the more my fertile window shifts from where we thought it was and our most intense DTD :/

OP posts:
themoo · 17/10/2015 10:04

Yes that's this morning's Prty.

themoo · 17/10/2015 10:06

When Mr moo looked at it he kept repeating 'there's DEFINITELY a line there. Definitely. There's definitely a line there' lol
It's like having rain man in the house

PrtyPsn · 17/10/2015 11:15

Sorry I have been away for a few days - was doing an exam in London yesterday and have been lying in bed feeling awful so far today after going out for a few drinks last night.

Anyway I come back to find out that you've only gone and got a bloody BFP moo! I am delighted for you!

Prty I'm sorry about your BFN today. Don't worry - next cycle is the one where we all get our BFPs - all of us!

glitterpoppy · 17/10/2015 15:33

I like the sound of that pirsy clinks mug of tea together whilst shouting cheers

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 17/10/2015 15:47

I've got a sort of ache in my left side today. Not painful exactly, just a little niggly. It feels slightly similar to ovulation pain, and it is on the side I ovulated from this month. I'm trying not to think this might be a good sign....

MrsFlowers82 · 17/10/2015 16:09

Congrats again Moo!

I'm back to hating my stupid confusing body. AF has now gone after just two days! Starting spotting Weds, heavy bleed followed, by last night nothing and now it's over! WTF?! AF is usually six days.

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 17/10/2015 16:25

My AF sometimes does weird stuff like that MrsFlowers - be warned: it might come back!

MrsFlowers82 · 17/10/2015 16:33

YouandMe that's what I waiting for! Why can't our bodies just behave?!

When are you due to POAS?

YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 17/10/2015 16:38

Should be Thursday I think. It seems like aaaages away.

MummyBex1985 · 17/10/2015 17:42

MrsF I've had it lately where it is there for two days, gone for a day then back for two days. Not weird. At all.

neetie1 · 17/10/2015 18:52

Mine does that too..two or three days of bleeding and then nothing followed by some light spotting .
Well really don't like my body at all..had a day at the ExCel arena in London at Discover dogs with Sasha and felt fine get back and have awful cramps alongside some niggly pains as well. Wouldn't mind but second day of af is usually ok first day is awful but second not too bad Sad

Interesting convo with DH last night he has been doing some reading bless him and said about 1:4 pregnancies have miscarriage and I explained that many people don't even realise. We did both say IVF would be a no go as we don't have the money and am too old for NHS IVF. Tentatively mentioned adoption and he didn't say no but he thinks the same of social workers as he does of estate agents ....
Still not out of the game yet just thinking of possibilities.

MrsKittenPie · 17/10/2015 19:24

Hi everyone. Hope you have had a nice day. prty - I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you x
moo - that line looks good today! Have you done anymore tests today?
youandme - I think I will join you on Thursday for the poas. I don't really know when af is due but it'll be nice to have a poas buddy!
neetie - sorry af is being difficult and sounds like a good conversation with dh.

PrtyPsn · 18/10/2015 08:05

TTC never goes away does it?! Had a dream I tested at 4 weeks pregnant... very disappointing to wake up :(

SharyBobbins · 18/10/2015 09:34

It doesn't Prty Sad OH just asked me what I want for my 30th next year- without even thinking I said "to be having a baby"... Confused
I've still not ovulated & it's CD39. Thinking of booking in with my GP. I know that my bloods came back normal but my cycles are still 42/43 days long so I might go in with that as my primary concern rather than not having conceived yet as it's not been a year. Although it'll have been 10 months so...

MrsKittenPie · 18/10/2015 09:57

prty - I know what you mean - I'm always dreaming of a second pink line appearing on a test - but sadly it never does in real life Sad
shary - yes it is always on our minds isn't it. We're going on an annual holiday next month and I remember being disappointed this time last year that I wasn't pregnant for it, to be planning going there again now a year later and I've not had a hint of a bfp is utterly heartbreaking

MummyBex1985 · 18/10/2015 10:55

Shary will they do OV tests even if they don't prescribe anything or do infertility type tests? Complete novice with this stuff after getting PG so easily first time around.

SharyBobbins · 18/10/2015 11:08

I've no idea to be honest Bex. I really think it depends on the GP. I'm going to try & book in with the GP who sent me for bloods. I had a phone consultation with him in the summer & he seemed to take me seriously, he must have done to order bloods at that (quite early I guess) stage.

I'm starting to get a bit concerned about the impact it's having on my emotional health too. I get what I need to done (in work, with housework, keeping up apperances by painting a smile on whilst fending off the inevitable 'when are you going to start a family' questions) but my mood is low & my motivation is dwindling. I'm avoiding social situations that involve kids or potential talk of them. I'm specifically avoiding OH's family as we're the only ones not to have kids and I feel so left out. I'm dreading up coming birthdays & Xmas. I hope you guys don't feel like this too as I wouldn't wish this longing on anyone but I bet you all do Sad

PrtyPsn · 18/10/2015 12:30

Know what you mean shary some days it's all consuming... been thinking this cycle that I'm just gonna stop trying but obviously that's not the answer, just don't know how to deal with it sometimes. And with a pregnancy in the family all I'm getting is sidelong glances and 'jokey' comments about my lack of maternal instinct :/

OP posts:
YouAndMeAreGoingToFallOut · 18/10/2015 12:33

Oh dear. People are so thoughtless aren't they, with their comments and assumptions.

SharyBobbins · 18/10/2015 12:39

I second that Prty. OH's family assume I'm not pregnant because I don't want to be & then talk to me like I'm some sort of outcast who doesn't have a maternal extinct. Simple questions like 'what size clothing is nephew/niece in now' is met with a patronising/'bless her' kind of response like I don't understand. In reality I'm asking because I know some kids need a bigger size than their age not because I'm some tit that doesn't get children just because I'm not a "mummy" Envy
