TTC #1 coming off the pill in December - anyone else in the same boat?!

Hi,

I am going to be coming off the pill after ten years plus on it after my pack finishes in December. Excited but also terrified about what my body is going to do once I'm without all the hormones!

Anyone else doing the same roughly the same time?

Babies on the brain today, was talking to my sis last night about working and childcare. So much to consider in a good way though. I seem to be noticing every baby these days and going awww.

Runner - I think The Witch is a brilliant way to refer to AF! I'm still waiting for mine to turn up, so we are opposites at the minute!

I'm so impressed with all the knitting. I think if I tried anything like that there would be big holes in it!

I'm in the same baby brained situation but we've got the step troubles for the rest of the week so I need to rain it in a bit. So difficult with all the cute baby stuff on the shops for Christmas... Luckily I think other people's babies look like potatoes so I don't get overly broody over them lol

I am diligently distracted though as my tickets to see Bellowheads goodbye tour arrived today yay!

Since coming off pill I have noticed a decided upward direction in sex drive, so that's good! Hello Nevlet - I hope things settle down for you cycle wise. I came off Cerazette in June (been trying properly since September) and so far so good with the dreaded Witch...

Been feeling a bit 'weird' today. DTD on morning of ovulation day (a day ago), then had a takeaway last night which both me and DH regretted. Went to bed with indigestion (fun) which has now gone, but all today I've had a strange twingy 'heaviness' in my abdomen. Slightly to the left. Kinda feels like I'm about to come on, but the Witch shouldn't fly in anytime soon....trying hard not to get ahead of myself here. It's probably indigestion still!! lol! Grin

OH seems to be coming to terms with impending pregnancy... At least, he's started making Star Wars jokes about it...

I just learned what tww means too Pinklily...and I'm in it for the first time! 1 week until AF is due. I'm having abdominal pains the last few days...but that's far too early for it to be AF related, right? Scared of getting too excited....waiting sucks!!!!! Halloween Confused

I'm so exited to be in the TTC gang- what a lovely secret... I'm wondering whether to go on a massive health kick fitness/ healthy food/ not sure what vitamins I should be taking. DH and I are having a big NYE party... Will need to hold off until after that but feeling so impatient. The knitting on this thread is amazing- go ladies!

Avocado - my GP told me last week that I should be taking folic acid and vitamin D whilst TTC, that there wasn't any need to take any other pregnancy vitamins while TTC but he recommended that once pregnant I should take Pregnacare.

I'm right there with you Pink I have no patients at all. Knowing my luck it will take us months to conceive and I will go mental.

Well, I was in a car accident this evening Sad no one hurt and the only damage was to my bumper. Gutted though and I banged my bad knee so now I've got a constant cramp. Very sad pathetic bunny but OH has been looking after me and feeding me steak and ice cream. Lufs my OH Smile

Oh, and I take seven seas preconception mini pills which are cheaper that pregnecare preconception and include folic acid and a few other useful preconception things. I also take vitamin C

I didn't know the tww acronym - so many acronyms! I am exceedingly impatient Pink...I'm normally quite a patient person, so this is saying something! I also have an active imagination, so I think I've probably become hyper sensitive to anything going on in there...we will have to see.

Hello Avocado - I'm taking folic acid and multivits etc. and I'm trying to do some more running. It's....sporadic at the moment.

Avocado I've just started the pregnacare conception multivitamins, but have been taking a multivitamin with folic acid for the past year (not for ttc, but just coincidence it had folic acid in it!)

Morwenna, I hear you. Convinced that my nipples have gotten bigger now! Ah well, just a few more sleeps to get through then I'll know one way or the other!

Hello ladies, how are you all doing today?

I'm feeling very sorry for myself. The little knock to my knee last night has resulted in a very hurty knee, hip and back today.
Really would like to go home and lay in a hot bath.
