I split up with my 6yr old dds dad and have met a lovely wonderful man who I have now been with for 2.5 yrs, he has a 15yr old stepson from a previous relationship and we both thought we were happy with our blended family. But I love him and he loves me and we have decided that we would love a child of 'ours' - timing isn't ideal, we are second year into our own business which I do all the admin/accounts for, our house is too small, etc etc but we are both getting older and now really really want this. So now is the time. Month 2 of ttc and 5 days to go before I can test.... Fx

ChatEnOeuf · 26/09/2015 10:14

Thanks Lovely, fingers crossed for you too.

weechops · 26/09/2015 10:50

3princes I have everything crossed for your bfp. I think I'm in a similar position, if I get a bfn, the way dh work pattern is, there's no other opportunity to try til at least June next year! And I'm just not sure I want more than a ten year gap between first and last babies. That's just my personal feelings of course!
Fx for everyone that this is the lucky bus.

My age caught up with me. DH is much younger, and really wanted to wait, but has also been very honest about how scared he is that he wouldn't cope if we had a child with any sort of disability. With 35 only a few months away, it just seemed right.

I previously ttc with an ex, had one mc and one ep, my first would have been 8 this year, so I have been waiting a long time

Thisisbonkers · 26/09/2015 13:50

Flowers chat

WTactualF? AF here again. 13 days since the last time. What the hell is going on? Sad

Thisisbonkers · 26/09/2015 13:53

As to why now? In recent years I've had a major change of mind over children vs no children. And life events have shown that life is precious and not to put things off as you never know what's around the corner.

Vikkijayne2507 · 26/09/2015 16:59

6days post ov 2 week wait proper sucks

Vikkijayne2507 · 26/09/2015 17:02

Were ttc as Ds is 18 months and we don't want a big gap between kids, he's just started to sleep a bit better so I don't want to get too comfy with my own sleep Grin

Sending Flowers to those who have lost. Always makes my heart wrench for those who have gone through it.

We're ttc now as we put it hold for a while due to not having a big enough house which was put on hold as I had an accident which triggered hypermobility syndrome (so EVERYTHING was put on hold!). We now have the house, stable jobs and savings behind us. My ds is from a previous relationship and he's 7. I have never been too concerned about sibling age gaps as there is 12 years between my sister and I and 9 years between me and my 2 brothers (one older one younger). We all get on fine.

I forgot to mention in my last post about distractions that I have my driving test next week (EEEEKKK!). It's something else that has been on hold for several years. Needed to get it done though as the school run may become unbearable when pregnant with hypermobility.

On a ttc note, this month I am having zero reaction to the progesterone surge after ov. The last 2 cycles have been horrendous! Wonder if my hormones are finally settling down.

Hi ladies

Can I join please. Smile

TTC #1
Cycle 2
Testing around 18th October

Thanks xx

Lovelybeano · 26/09/2015 18:37

Those of you that have conceived before, did you make sure you dtd exactly when you were ovulating? I think I may be out this month because d10 seems a little too early, I'm a regular 27-28 day cycle, oh well 2 weeks will reveal all Smile

3Princes99 · 26/09/2015 20:30

Everything crossed for us both weechops! It's a hard decision but we have to do what we feel is right. Like I've said before, I feel my other children are getting older and missing out while we've been ttc this time. 4 more days till I test. I have zero symptoms! When are you testing weechops.

ChatEnOeuf · 26/09/2015 21:12

Thanks bonkers. Ovulation bleed?

Lovely, no I just shag Grin

Thisisbonkers · 26/09/2015 23:15

Don't think so chat, too heavy. Certainly not normal :(

Lovelybeano · 27/09/2015 05:22

Haha chat, I would love to jump his bones but he's not here, he's escaped for the week. im sorry bonkers, hopefully implantation bleed, if not like chat says, just keep shagging no matter whereabouts in your cycle you are.

weechops · 27/09/2015 05:59

bonkers how are you this morning?

3princes I'll be 10dpo on Saturday and I've always got a faint positive by then previously, but I have a night out on Friday! So I'm going to test then I think and hope I see something!

Age 30
TTC #1
Cycle #3

3Princes99 · 27/09/2015 12:51

Symptom spotting

I have slightly tender boobs (can get this before af)
I also have some dark veins running through them and they feel very heavy today.

I have mild cramps and I can't get warm today.
I do have a funny taste in my mouth but can't quite determine if its metallic or not.

Think I'm getting my hopes up Sad

Anybody care to share any symptoms :)

Age 33
Ttc# 4 Shock
Cycle #1 I have no idea where I am in my cycle as didn't get any AF when I had the mirena. Just wanting to get this first cycle out of the way so I have a rough idea re ovulation etc! Also we've only actually dtd once since I had it taken out so completely unlikely to be successful this time round.

KittyandTeal · 27/09/2015 17:19

Ok so this month we've actually been trying again (last month was an out as I was funny about getting a bfp and dates running the same as dd2)

I've had a stinking cold over the past week. Been using the cb opk and got a peak on fri so we've dtd fri and sat (thinking 36 hours after +ve for ov then 12 hour egg life) but my temp has dropped this morning rather than risen. However, my temp has been really up and down as I've had a temp with this cold.

Will it be difficult to pinpoint ov because of this. Should we dtd again tonight to make sure (please say no, I need to go to bed and sleep super early)

Thisisbonkers · 27/09/2015 19:53

I've had pizza, got chocolate and cider in the fridge. Today has been a bit of a pisser anyway so will give myself an arse kicking to start afresh tomorrow Smile

3Princes99 · 27/09/2015 23:29

I now have back ache and feel hot and sicky. Hope I'm not coming down with something Confused

Lovelybeano · 28/09/2015 06:23

3princes99 I had really bad flu symptoms with dd, in fact we only dtd once cos the rest of the month I was coming home from work & going straight to bed for 2 weeks, I thought I wouldn't get caught that month but it must've been my body's reaction to the hormones Smile fingers crossed for you xxx. This is bonkers, did you enjoy your pizza choc & cider?? Grin

simplydivine05 · 28/09/2015 07:20

I'm now 3/4dpo (estimated) and I have no symptoms at all. Last two months were horrendous from the second ov happened and I spent my tww feeling really ill with nausea, headaches, a cold, temperature, backache, sore boobs, fatigue. The list is endless.
This cycle, granted my back and hip pain has flared up something chronic which is normal, I feel ok. I'm hoping that doesn't mean I've skipped ov altogether Hmm

Rose2806 · 28/09/2015 09:35

simply I was getting worried thinking I don't ovulate at all and had no symptoms etc, but turns out I'm only just ovulating now, got positives on CD 18 and 19, don't know what my body has been busy doing all this time! So I wouldn't worry about having no symptoms we all vary a lot! :-)

Sorry to hear about everyone who has had a tough time, there are lots of options out there which can help and I'm a firm believer that if you want something enough it's possible to make it happenxx
