hippo welcome. Wise advice from sammy there. I'd add though that sometimes our bodies are infuriating. I think occasionally we do get blips in hormone levels naturally which can cause patterns as you describe. I think anxiety especially can send my cycles out. Good luck though. Let us know what happens as you test next. Fx for you.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 15/09/2015 09:39

Hi flymo Hippo & Panda

Boris sorry DH will be away that's rubbish.

Chops thanks for sharing that story. I need something to keep me going.

Another opk today with a second line but still lighter than the control line. I though soy would bring ovulation forward but it seems to be putting it back. Although I've wondered for a while now if I'm missing my fertile patch completely due to a late ovulation. I bet cb would have had me ovulated by now. So we dtd last night. Then will dtd tomorrow and Friday hoping that will be enough to catch ovulation.

Mummyofonesofar · 15/09/2015 09:48

Nomio I hope graduation day was lovely yesterday hun! And yay for + opk!

Hello all!

Wanted to pop on to say huge congrats to Woolly Grin

Talking about morphology problems, my dh had 3% before we conceived. Was it Heir who also had 0%???

Hairstylisttoboris · 15/09/2015 11:59

Tessie!!! :) nice to see you. Hope you are ok.

Really reassuring to read the 'against all odds' stories. Especially the low sperm count stories of conception.

Woolly84 · 15/09/2015 15:51

Woolly thanks. I really am enjoying dtd this month. Although we are making a conscious effort to do it more on the doctors advice it doesn't feel as pressured. We are having fun and I feel closer to DH than I have done in a while. Although I took soy and we are using opks I'm trying not to be so hung up on it all this month that's why I haven't been on here quite so often.

I've just done a Davina workout. It was hard as I haven't done it in ages. I really need to start as if I get pregnant I want to keep up a fitness routine.

tessiegirl · 15/09/2015 17:06

Ah thanks ladies, I still read up on how you are all getting on...cheering you all on!!!

I'm doing good thank you, 27+1 with a baby girl Smile Just in the middle of moving house in Sarajevo at the moment before I leave to be back in the UK next week Confused

Rainy34 · 15/09/2015 21:03

Its lovely to see the grads coming back on and supporting us, thank you!!

I have given up on my cbfm this month, its had me at low , i am cd 15, i had egcm on cd 12 and have had what feels like ovulation pain, like iv had previous months, had a pink spot of blood once when i wiped yesterday , so god knows what is happening with my body this month, iv made it an excuse that i need the new type cbfm to oh, i got an eye roll from him , ha ha!!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 16/09/2015 08:18

Hmm another day another opk dilemma . So today's appears lighter than yesterday's. I'm on cd 19 Sad

Hairstylisttoboris · 16/09/2015 09:33

Beautician before I took soy my LH surge was so quick unless I tested multiple times a day Id miss it.
On soy my LH surge can last 3 days. Also my LH surge wouldn't show up if I drank too much liquid as my urine is very dilute. Could either of these be an explanation for you
.

Oh and also sometimes the LH levels fluctuate anyhow pre OV so keep testing, it may still come.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 16/09/2015 11:03

Boris thank you. I don't drink enough liquid although I have been testing in the morning (not first morning urine)perhaps I'll try one this evening.

So far we have dtd on cd

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 16/09/2015 11:06

Oops posted too soon on cd 8,9,13,15 & 17. Will dtd tonight cd 19 then Friday cd 21 and possibly at the weekend too. DH is away next week. I feel though that we've made a lot more effort this time. Im just not sure it would have made much difference. I have my bloods on the 24th no idea when DH will have time to do Sa as the hospital is 40 minutes away and can only be dropped off Monday to Friday between 9-12 and we aren't about

Hairstylisttoboris · 16/09/2015 11:22

beaut I get the strongest reading on opks at 4-6 pm.....

Hairstylisttoboris · 16/09/2015 11:26

beaut round here you can only drop off SA by prior appointment on Tuesday's or Wednesdays 9-4 pm. The hospital is 40 mins also from DHs work. He struggled to make the appointment (which took about 6 phone calls) let alone actially go to the appointment.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 16/09/2015 12:18

I don't finish work until 8 so I'll try one then. Thanks for the advice.

I'm glad it's not just my DH that's finding it difficult to get to the hospital. Why do they have to make it so difficult. Really hope my tests are all ok. I was hoping it may be lucky month 12 but I'm a bit over getting my hopes up now Smile

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 16/09/2015 13:19

DH just sent me this. He's taken them to work. Feeling the team effort Grin

Right ladies, I'm off for 2.5 weeks so be good, get pregnant and be happy! Had my peak opk today, so cramming in some pre-flight Dtd tonight and first thing tomorrow.

Fx I bring back a stowaway.

Byeeeeeeeee Flowers

DizzyNorthernBird · 16/09/2015 20:30

Helloooooooooooo

Sorry I've been a bit lame at posting again. Work has been very busy again this week so I don't get much downtime to catch up properly!

Cd8 here....around 10 days to go until dtd'athon.

My mission this month was to not stress so much at work to see if it makes any difference to when I ovulate.....however I think that plan is already scuppered because of the last three days at work.

Really need to take a chill pill!

No news here anyway. Hope you're all well x

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 17/09/2015 10:10

Kir have a great time. I really hope you come back with an extra passenger on board.

So cd 20 managed to dtd last night. Today's opk is lighter again it's barely there. Hmm maybe I'm not ovulating Sad

smellsofelderberries · 17/09/2015 11:50

Hi ladies, can I please join you? Currently spotting at 12DPO, TTC#1 on cycle 6. DH has has a SA which has come back as all healthy and I had CD21 bloods done cycle 5 which came back as really good except for slightly elevated prolactin. I'm seeing a naturopath for reflexology and herbs (cystic acne sufferer) and no hint of a BFP yet, so I'm starting to feel quite discouraged. It took us a few months to find a good rhythm for having sex but the last two months we have accidently done the SMEP, simply because we've both been really in the mood!
I'm a nanny so raising babies and being a wife is literally all I'm good at Grin ready to stop being paid to do it!!

Nomio23 · 17/09/2015 12:29

Welcome Smells. Have you done a test yet? I couldn't imagine getting to 12 DPO without POAS!

To all of you asking about graduation-it was amazing!!! Seriously, one of the best days of my life. I didn't get the chance to go to Uni when I was younger, but have always wanted to. It has taken me five years to get my degree, as I was so ill the first couple of years I had to repeat my first year three times, so to finally get that piece of paper was absolutely amazing. I haven't smiled so much since I got married! Smile

I also OVd on the same day, so hoping it brings me good luck. We have been good with DTD this month. OV was day 14 & we did it on days 5, 8, 11, 12, 13 & 14, so I am really hoping we caught that little egg.

Tessie, it is great to hear from you. I am so pleased things are going well. Are you moving back to the UK for good?

Eskimo, did you get your bleed yet? What is the next step for you if the 150mg doesn't work?

Kir, I hope you have a lovely relaxing holiday & come back with a special souvenir!

flymo79 · 17/09/2015 13:22

ah congrats nomio!! very lovely to hear about your graduation and what an achievement it has been!

just on a new cycle and trying to summon the enthusiasm to dtd eod... why must work be so exhausting??? totally getting in the way of me getting up the duff!

Hairstylisttoboris · 17/09/2015 13:53

kir have a fabulous time!

Welcome smells

congrats nomio how wonderful for you! It also sounds like you've done everything you can to fertilise that egg! Let's hope it's your month! X

smellsofelderberries · 17/09/2015 14:07

I didn't test Nomio as I thought if I made it to 14DPO I would test then as it would have been a Sat morning and we would have had the weekend to enjoy it had it worked this cycle. Congratulations on graduating!! Hopefully this will be an extra special month for you!

Flynn, ugh, yes with the work getting in the way. DH works in banking and I'm out of the house almost 12 hours a day so finding to eat AND have sex in the evenings is tough. I love it when I O over the weekend cause it just means we can have morning or afternoon sex and it's just much more relaxed.

Looking forward to starting a new cycle!
