Ladies I need some advice. I usually use cb opks. Is this a negative or positive opk. So they get darker the closer to ovulation you get? I had EWCM yesterday then this just now. Should we dtd tonight. We dtd last night and DH is unexpectedly back today and then away tomorrow night & back on Wednesday. Then away until Friday Smile

Beaut that is negative but it is starting to get there, the test line has to be as dark or darker than the control line to be positive, it will get darker so just continue testing every day, I would DTD tonight anyway and then again Wednesday and again Friday, the timing wouldn't be too bad either way as EOD is fine. It may also help to keep the opks lined up so you can see them getting darker as ov day arrives.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 14/09/2015 13:20

Thanks Mummy I was beginning to think they weren't going to start changing as they've been blank so far and I'm on cd16

Nomio23 · 14/09/2015 13:58

Beaut, I would definitely DTD tonight. It looks like it won't be long until you OV.

Mummy, so exciting about your scan!

CD13 for me & the OPKs are getting darker. I think I will get my positive tomorrow, which is my graduation day, so hoping it will be lucky for us!

Kirjava · 14/09/2015 14:53

nomio congrats on the graduation! Enjoy your day.

I think I'm going to ovulate when I'm on the plane Angry

wwwwwoooooooooolllllllllllyyyeeeeeeeeee Fab news. Congrats lovely lady! How are you doing now?!

Lovely to see so many new names. Do stick around. This is a fab board and really knowledgable and supportive!

Nice to see so many grads pop back, like our lucky omens, stick with us ladies and reminds us that the holy grail of conception can be reached.

AF arrived for me properly yesterday which makes my next OV right when DH is away on a much needed holiday with the lads not jealous at all so that's me out for another month as well .

What's everyone up to this evening? Anyone got any great dinner ideas to inspire me with?

Nomio23 · 14/09/2015 18:49

I am currently giving myself a pedicure! Jacket potatoes & omelette for dinner tonight. Yum!

How was your trip, Boris? Sorry AF arrived.

I just got my positive OPK, so will be accosting DH again later!

eskimoflo · 14/09/2015 19:03

Oh Woolly!!! Massive congratulations. I'm so happy for you my love. Grin Grin Looks like you rejoined us at exactly the right time! Grin

Nomio Good to see you- I missed you, lovely. Hope you've been kind to yourself and now you've had some much needed time out, you're back to get your BFP! Flowers

Hello to all the newbies! And especially to Moomin. I'm so excited you're here.

So, someone was asking about my clomid dose a few pages back. Well, I finished a course of progesterone last week, so am expecting a bleed tomorrow, and then I start on 150mg of clomid. Very disillusioned with the whole thing and just waiting to get this over with and start the next course of treatment, even if it's scary and horrid. Confused

Boris I'm having pasta and a salad. Was going to try and venture out with the dogs for a walk, but it's peeing it down and they'll hate me for it, so I'm going to try and catch up with the soaps and generally be a lazy bum. Sorry for AF and enforced abstinence next month. That's rubbish. Sad

Kirjava Mile High Club? No? Yes? Maybe? Grin

eskimoflo · 14/09/2015 19:06

Sammy Sorry to hear about your dad. Really hope that the angiogram shed some light and that he's on the mend now Flowers

Kirjava · 14/09/2015 19:23

It's feeling nice and busy on here Grin

eskimo got my fingers and toes crossed for you for the 150mg clomid. I'm not sure I could mile high club, much too aware of other people around!!

Kirjava · 14/09/2015 19:23

I'm not sure what's for dinner - dh is cooking as I'm still on the train home.

Woolly84 · 14/09/2015 19:39

Evening ladies!

lily I hope you're enjoying your hols and hope AF ends the confusion soon xx

kirjava I too was going to suggest mile high club but see eskimo has already done so Grin filthy minds think alike

boris welcome back!! I missed you of course lovely, did you have a nice time? Sorry for stupid AF and the timing for next month. I am feeling okay thanks, very slight cramping but other than that completely normal. Hoping the next 8 weeks go quickly!

esko that sounds like a lovely healthy dose of chlomid.

Trip was fab thanks nomio just what we needed. Istanbul is an amazing city.

Kir great idea re fed ex! Does anyone know how long you can leave spermz in a tube before they go off? Do they have an inseminate by stamp on them?

Boring quick cook pasta for me tonight, being lazy.

pandaglasses · 14/09/2015 19:46

Can I jump on the bus please?! We just started TTC #2. I have irregular AF (typically 35-42 days) so we are going to try the just shagging approach for a couple of months and see if we get lucky.

Hairstylisttoboris · 14/09/2015 19:47

woolly x post! Good to hear that all seems well.
Do stick around here, you can even have the seat next to me :)

Hairstylisttoboris · 14/09/2015 19:49

Another x post. Welcome panda plenty of room for you!

eskimoflo · 14/09/2015 20:23

Oh my... maybe we should trade in our minibus for a double decker? Welcome Panda. Grin Grin

Boris Mine was quick cook pasta too- the fresh, filled tortellinis you get in a packet, plus the sauce you microwave in a tub and a pre-packed salad that I picked up because it was reduced to 50p. The lettuce had gone transparent, but I convinced myself that it was fine Confused Hmm

eskimoflo · 14/09/2015 20:24

( Panda Your irregular AF sounds like a dream to me... I have to take pills to bring on a period. I save a fortune on sanny towels though... ) Wink

chopsface · 14/09/2015 20:37

Inspirational story for you ladies from a lady at my aquanatal class....

40 years old, been with her partner 9 years. Tried for years to have a baby, come to terms with the fact that kids were not in their future "got some cats, bought a house" her words Realised she hadn't had a period for a few months, ta daaaa 19 weeks pregnant!! Miracles can and do happen when you don't expect it. Never give up x

Moomin37 · 14/09/2015 20:37

Aww thanks Eskimo I was pondering whether to join and seeing your name on this thread convinced me Smile If just 50mg of Clomid can encourage my poor battered body to be on the cusp of ovulation then surely 150mg will do the trick for you - fingers crossed Smile

hippopo · 14/09/2015 20:51

Sorry to but in here but I've posted a new thread with no response and thought I would try you lovely ladies here.
Hi, not been on here for ages.

My period is due tomorrow (Tuesday) however I had what appears to be a light period that lasted 3 days on Thursday last week. There was bright red blood but it was much lighter and lasted one or two days less than normal. My previous period was three days late and very heavy so it could be body correcting itself???
I've tried two tests (the ones that say you can test 4 days early and both neg). I did have some implantation bleeding with last pregnancy but it was much lighter again that what I have just had. It did feel like a light period.

I will test again tomorrow or maybe a few days time. But this has been driving me crazy. No other real symptoms expect I've been super emotional, crying most days for a week! And did have v sore boobs and been knackered.

loopylou1984 · 14/09/2015 21:16

Hi lovelies, thank you so much for all the well wishes for my dad. He's doing ok, had an angioplasty today and sten fitted to almost completely blocked artery. We are so very lucky it wasn't worse.

I will catch up with everyone soon, but just want to reply to hippo. I have no experience myself, but from what others have said that could be implantation. However I have learn on here that it is definitely best to wait until you are late before you test - so maybe wait until Wednesday if you can. Xx

loopylou1984 · 14/09/2015 21:17

*stent

hippopo · 14/09/2015 22:21

Thank you for your reply Sammy and I do hope your dad is ok and recovers soon.
