A bfp a bfp!!! Congratulations woolly!!!!

Foofee · 13/09/2015 09:43

woolly that is so exciting, congrats!! Are you telling anyone yet or just keeping it between the two of you for now?

sammy really good to hear that your Dad is feeling better too. Is it something where the doctors can offer advice or treatment to manage it and prevent it flaring up in future now that they know about it?

lilygirl81 · 13/09/2015 09:55

Woolly that is amazing, such a strong line! So excited for you.

Feeling quite nauseous this morning, still no AF, so think I will chat to the doctor about it tomorrow when I'm there anyway. Didn't test, don't see the point anymore. We go on holiday on Monday night so trying to put it out of my mind.

loopylou1984 · 13/09/2015 09:56

Thanks Foofee, we don't really know yet. He'll be having an angiogram tomorrow so hopefully that will reveal more. Weekends in nhs hospitals are always slow moving. Xx

Foofee · 13/09/2015 10:21

Ah fingers crossed then sammy, let us know how it goes

Pixa · 13/09/2015 11:23

Sammy I really hope all works out well for you*

Woolly Really pleased for you! Congratulations.

DizzyNorth If there was male factor sub-fertility of infertility, it was depend on the issue as to how to move forward. We found out about DHs azoospermia in July following SAs in June, we've been through several other tests (not related to DH) since then and are now waiting for a consultant.

Hope everyone else is progressing well.

Nomio23 · 13/09/2015 12:02

Aaaargh, Woolly!!! Congratulations!

Sammy, please try not to worry too much. We had a similar thing with FiL a couple of years ago. He had pain one night, but didn't think anything of it. The next day he was at the hospital for an infected foot & they drew bloods, then told him he had had a heart attack the night before! He has been on medication since & has been absolutely fine. He lives a normal life & hasn't had any ill effects. Hopefully your dad will be the same.

DizzyMerry · 13/09/2015 12:23

Woolly!!!!!!! congratulations!!! I'm so pleased for you.

Sammy good to hear your dad's feeling better. Fx for further test results.

Pixa hope the Consultant appointment comes through quickly.

ThePug · 13/09/2015 12:26

Grin Woolly I'm so excited for you! And that line just shows that sometimes it is better to wait rather than poas early as then it is pretty definitive and doesn't require any squinting. Big congratulations!

sammy so sorry to hear about your dad, although sounds like the doctors have done a good job in picking up on something that could have gone undiagnosed and now they will keep an eye on him.

I check in on you all everyday and am sending you fertilization & BFP vibes. Glad to see you have picked up some newbies and newbies , this is a great thread to be on with lots of support.

DizzyNorthernBird · 13/09/2015 12:43

woolly!!! Massive congratulations!

Will catch up later peeps, sorry I've not been around for a couple of days!

Mummyofonesofar · 13/09/2015 12:48

woolly congratulations!!! Well done lovely. What a fab line x

Mummyofonesofar · 13/09/2015 12:51

Is there anyone who wants to take the stats over? Or should I make them so everyone can update their own dates?

Woolly84 · 13/09/2015 13:22

Thank you everyone! Smile I did a frer too which came up pretty strong, feeling very lucky but cautious as well given it's such early days.

foofee I don't think we'll tell anyone until after the first scan.

lily I hope your appointment goes well tomorrow, and enjoy your holiday x

sammy I agree with the others, sounds like the docs have it all under control and I'm sure they'll monitor him very closely, hope you're okay and that he is back to normal soon xx

pug hope things are going smoothly for you? And yes, glad I waited!

mummy perhaps everyone doing their own updates might be best? Thank you for looking after them for so long!! X

loopylou1984 · 13/09/2015 13:25

Mummy - I'm not on enough to take over the stats but would be more than happy to update mine as and when they change. X

Rainy34 · 13/09/2015 16:12

Mummy maybe everyone should update there own stats?!!

Wooly congratulations, such great news!!!

Sammy glad your dad is better!!

Nomio23 · 13/09/2015 18:42

Mummy, I don't mind doing the stats if you are retiring. How are you doing? Has it sunk in yet that you are having twins?!

Pug, how are you? You must be quite far along now.

I love that so many of our gorgeous grads are still looking in on us. Smile

DizzyNorthernBird · 13/09/2015 19:51

I would offer to do stats but I'm sticking to my 'no bumsnet before fertile window' rule which means I won't be around for a week or so before ov! I'm quite happy to update my own though!

sammy so sorry to hear about your dad, I hope he gets better very soon.

Hi grads! Hope you're all well!

waves at the new joiners! Please stick around, it's lovely having you here!

Congrats again woolly and thanks for the stats. Did you do anything different this cycle?

lily I'm sure you're pg!?!

Cd5 here and have a good 10 days to go before fertile window which is a drag!

Thanks to everyone for the advice about DP taking supps...it won't hurt to get him started just in case I guess. I'll find out later if he's willing to give them a try. He wants to try a 'every third day' plan this month which I'm willing to try as we know where we both stand and there shouldnt be any moaning about being tired etc as he'll know in advance when it's time! I had planned to try soy this month too but I've left it too late now Confused

Beansprout30 · 13/09/2015 21:10

Congrats to woolly Grin

Woolly84 · 13/09/2015 22:22

Thanks rainy and bean!

dizzyn no we didn't do anything differently, similar dtd pattern to usual etc. good that you have a plan with DH, fx your journey isn't too long now xx

nomio I lurk here everyday! the people on the antenatal thread are a bit whiny and I don't join in much I'm 14+3 now so still feels like a long way to go! All looked good at dating scan, they moved me forward 9 days Hmm and I'm now eagerly awaiting date for next scan so we can find out sex! Have had pretty much zero symptoms so counting myself lucky very lucky.

dizzyn Good luck with the new regime. I hope your shifts mean you can stick to it and it will do the trick!

chopsface · 14/09/2015 09:34

I lurk here every day too to offer support. FlowersCakeWine

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 14/09/2015 09:49

Woolly Massive Congratulations. So pleased for you. Just goes to show sometimes there are no symptoms. Smile

Sammy So sorry to hear about your Dad. I do hope you are ok.

Hi to all the Newbies

lilygirl81 · 14/09/2015 11:48

Morning all

Just a quick update, my GP looked completely confused when I asked him what could be going on, gave me one of their tests to try, yet again a BFN (had taken a sample of FMU with me). So I'm just going to go enjoy my holiday, and hope AF arrives at some point.

Have a good week, I may pop by if I get wifi anywhere

Mummyofonesofar · 14/09/2015 11:51

Nomio can you take charge of the stats please and try to update, but I have also changed it so anyone can edit so will take some of the pressure off you! [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1D41Fo-H5IzYuhQ_c54Xz1vv0Lx9dMunEeHvard4fkCk/edit?usp=sharing NEW LINK]]

It has sort of sunk in now, weeks 6.5 through to 9 were the most shocking but kind of used to it now, nearly 11 weeks and have my 12w scan a week tomorrow.
