Trying - as you say at least this gives you and argc the best chance with ivf rather than it happening again having had all the ivf as well and if you do pgd too you ll know its just immunes youre fighting. Sounds like a lovely holiday is just what you need.

Rosa - hope you re ok. If you re worried he s moving less don t be afraid to go back again sooner than arranged. Do they know your immune history? From what i read in the beer book it can mean the placenta can also function less well towards the end and beer seemed in favour of getting them out early if there was any doubt. Not sure how the cholestasis fits in as don t know much about that but you re so close and he ll be a good size at 36wks i d push them if you re not happy. Keep us posted. We re rooting for you.

As Hula has said I think I'd be pushing to get bubba out sooner rather than later. I hope you're both coping ok though.... Another bump in the road but you're so close to your destination. Stay strong Hun x

Hula2 · 16/11/2015 22:10

Just found out my friend s hcg is still rising, she s got to go in for surgery to have her tube out first thing Sad

Seekingmiracles · 16/11/2015 22:21

Oh your poor friend Hula, thoughts are with her tomorrow. Sad

Rosa27 · 16/11/2015 22:25

Hula- that's awful, so sad. I hope she's ok. How cruel :(
As for me I'm clearly pretty scared .. But trying best to keep it together. They do know my history but my consultant doesn't believe in immune issues.. Only what the nhs has statistically proven. She is prepared to bring fwd a week though so would be 37+6 weeks .. I so hope that's early enough..! Should I try push for even earlier? I'm 36+3 tomorrow so it's only 8 days... But every minute and hour I'm conscious of what ifs ...

Rosa can u speak to mr s ? I'm sure he would be happy to advise? I think us rm lot are just high risk throughout pregnancy so he must deal with it lots
I can't imagine how frightening it must be, hang in there. U will be on here with good news soon x

Hula2 · 16/11/2015 22:36

Oh Rosa, it must be so scary for you. I was worried you d say that about the nhs and the immunes. Honestly if your instinct tells you its not right then push them, especially if you feel movement is getting less. Have they scanned you to check fluid levels and placental blood flow ? Can you ask to stay in for more monitoring ? Maybe ring and try and speak with mr s or louise for their opionon. Sending hugs.

Rosa27 · 16/11/2015 22:53

Thanks everyone. I'm have two checks a week which include fluid checks and fetal heart trace. They do this if I also say I've noticed less movement like last night. As we all know checks are just a snapshot though. It's scary times..
I did ask Louise about OC and she said the care I'm getting is right. She also said most ladies with OC get to 38-39 weeks but occasionally the levels rise and then the decision is to deliver early- and you get the steroid injection (which I'm to get) to ensure muscles mature.
Thanks everyone.. Helps to know everyone still rooting for me :) xxx

Hula2 · 16/11/2015 23:00

Ah good Rosa, sounds like you ve got it all covered. Hang in there. Can t wait to hear he s safely in your arms. Xx

sunnyday01 · 17/11/2015 06:43

Oh rosa I hope you're doing ok - your so close to the end but I am finding that somehow makes the worry worse as we have come so far and so close to the end. I find with the hospital that you need to be quite firm with them about what you want, although generally my hospital have been very good do far. I have a consultant spot next week so will definitely be asking about that placenta thing and get their view.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you. Keep us posted x

Ellie2015 · 17/11/2015 09:17

Oh so sorry to hear..trying and Billy. I dont have any words at the mo for u..its so bloody unfair..

Rosa I dont know ur story honey. What is OC? What is ur doubt abt immune treatment? I cant imagine anything that u could be on at this gestation. Listen honey, it appears that after a lot of struggle u have reached this stage and ur intuition is something else. I would not trust anyone for that..esp. when u r 36+ thats hardly any different than 38-40 weeks nowadays. So u dont need to wait for anything and go through this twice weekly stressful checks. U could most surely push them to deliver u. All the best hun xx

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 17/11/2015 11:06

rosa so sorry you're going through this stressful time, especially when you should be preparing to meet your little boy. It's so ridiculous, professor quenby is an NHS doctor, dr s has NHS patients being treated for immune issues, I cannot understand why some doctors are so blinded by protocols.

hula I'm so sorry about your friend, life is so needlessly cruel. I don't know much about ectopic a, could they not still administer methotrexate?

Drttc · 17/11/2015 22:06

Rosa- hope you're holding up during such an anxious time. I agree that you need to go with your gut. Glad you spoke to Louise about it.

Hula- so sorry about your friend. I'm also surprised she wasn't offered the Mx injection instead though.

Trying- how are you?

Rosa27 · 17/11/2015 22:16

Hi everyone.. Had another emotional day. My liver test results are worse so have a liquid drug to treat the liver bile acids which cause the OC itch - ursodeoxycholic acid.
My growth scan showed a slight dip in growth and I still have high BP.

The blood flow from the placenta seems ok as was the fetal heart trace.. But as I have OC, felt reduced movement and due to my history they are going to deliver Monday.. Will be just over 37 weeks so hoping he will be ok. Very mixed emotions but overall glad it's sooner. So much for box sets and early Christmas shopping on mat leave - it's been all hospital trips, stressing and scratching!
Thanks for all your thoughts and support. I so hope this time next week I will have a happy story to share .. Finally. Xxx

Drttc · 17/11/2015 22:22

Rosa- I'm so sorry it's been emotional but completely understand why. It's been a drama til the very end... You are going to be holding your little boy soon though and that is so wonderful! Xxx

Seekingmiracles · 18/11/2015 07:32

Oh Rosa, your poor thing. You must be so worried. But your little man will be plenty strong enough to face the world on Monday when he arrives. Hope they manage to keep the itching under control until then. Can't wait to hear some good news from you x

Drttc · 19/11/2015 14:57

Thinking you Trying x

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 19/11/2015 15:01

Hello everyone.

rosa my thoughts and prayers are with you and little one. I can't imagine how anxious you must be but I'm so excited that you're nearly there.

trying how are you feeling? Have ARGC been in contact regarding your tnf? Will dh's urologist be reviewing things now?

I have a problem and I feel guilty for moaning because it seems so trivial but I still don't have any pictures from my scan last Wednesday. I've emailed and called and now they're saying I might not get them until next week when the jelly fish is nearly 16 weeks. I know I shouldn't be upset but I get so much reassurance just by looking at the pictures. It also means I haven't told anyone because it's such a rite of passage to show the little picture.

Does anyone know anywhere in London I can get a cheap scan at short notice just to get a little picture?

Seekingmiracles · 19/11/2015 19:44

That was the only thing that annoyed me with DrS Snoopy, pics took ages to come through. I know at the beginning its to protect you while things are unsure but I don't see how it can be so hard.
Would also have made things easier for me if I'd had a scan pic when it came to sorting out my eprc with NHS.

Thinking of you trying xx

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 19/11/2015 20:09

To be fair with dr s I have had them in forty eight hours but this was with a different doctor and I think it's a bit much to expect us to wait two weeks for the pictures, especially when we paid so much for the scan.

How are you seeking and how is little Loki?

Seekingmiracles · 19/11/2015 21:31

Ahhhh I see. Two weeks is an excessively long time!!!

I'm good.... At the moment. 8/9dpo so d-day is looming yet again!
Loki is brilliant thank you!! So glad we got him, he's such a little bundle of fluffy love!
What did you call your puppy again? How's he settling in? Xx

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 19/11/2015 22:16

Aw glad to hear he's doing well. We went with Max in the end. He's 14 and a half weeks now. He's very sweet, sometimes he's so smart and he'll do all his training and his tricks no problem and then he'll have his crazy five minutes where it all goes out the window haha lead training is soooo boring though!

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 19/11/2015 22:17

And when do you test?

Seekingmiracles · 20/11/2015 07:17

Loki was rubbish on the lead and still isn't perfect but i've given up trying too much. He's brilliant off the lead and has a brilliant recall so i'm not too fussed. We're lucky that we mostly walk in woods or on common land so he doesn't need to be on the lead too much. Max will pick it up, he's still young and excitable. Glad he's settling in well Smile

Testing tomorrow or Sunday. Don't feel particularly pregnant or non-pregnant. I know for me last time the pred masked every symptom so it could go either way.''' Hmm
