Waiting to try, and cycle a mess from the pill

Just wondering if there are any other lurkers in the same boat as me, planning to TTC in December/January?

I came off the pill three months ago and have only had one pathetic AF in that time, so very glad I came off early but also pretty anxious at how messed up things are, 1st cycle was 39 days, this one is 40 and courting.

So who's with me? I can't be the only person on here who is actually hoping for AF!

I don't use either at the mo as I work shifts so can't really temp and I stopped using OPK as I was too obsessed! I'll see how I get on this cycle with Agnus Cactus then may try OPK again. X

cookie I got all excited with am almost positive opk. But it looked less close after it dried and one a few hours later was faint again. Cervix not as high as last month when I ovulated and no ewcm yet but slightly more watery. Few days away at best I imagine. Weeks at worst!

Just catching up on everything and wanted to share this link about the phases of CM, although we have all probably googled this to death I actually found this still told me something new and found it really helpful, particularly about watery CM which I didn't really get was also a good fertile indicator.

Anyway hope it helps - the whole knowledge base on this site is brilliant, there's another page with detailed descriptions of each type of CM which is great if you're a newbie. Kindara is one of the apps I use for charting and I find it better than Ovia now.

I am really undecided on a agnus castus. maybe i should wait to see what this cycle brings. and if no ovulation in next 2 weeks i'll know it's going to be a long one and it's maybe worth trying.....

First - how is your opks coming on? have u been testing? fx for a regular cycle some of the girls on here
use agnus cactus to regulate - never used it myself my cycle settled down straight away!

SophieD - Omg congratulations that fab news did your cycles settle down in the end? was it a shock as i know you said you were having long cycles and did not know when you were ov?

well im on my 1ww. due to test on 14th if AF does not show! past few days have had really sticky ewcm like glue, then
other days i have had quite watery then like a loose paste haha! no symptoms and have had
no implantation bleeding so not hopeful!

Glad you had a fab time Chapman. Have been eagerly awaiting your post as I know we're so close together in our cycles. I'm 4/5dpo and due to test on 17th Jan. Haven't had any symptoms other than a lot of school glue CM today, which is quite unusual for me post Ov as I usually dry up! Had some cramps today too and I'm now worried AF shows up this weekend as I only had a 1 week luteal phase last month. Keeping everything crossed for us both!!

New girl, thanks for the CM info. I've been googling CM like a crazy woman these past few days. My internet history must make me sound like a weirdo! First, if you're unsure about Agnus then maybe it's best waiting to see how this cycle goes? Hoping ov comes soon for you Hun xx

Cookie - I've been so busy it's ridiculous mainly catching up on sleep and washing - tons of it!! I'm 8dpo no symptoms at all I am literally just gonna wait til the 14th and if AF doesn't show up by the 15th il test and hope for the best haha!
I've had a lot of cm recently the past 4 days to be honest I have no idea why but we shall see! Fx for us both! Xx

Chapman so glad to hear you had an amazing time! For you and for cookie I have read that increased creamy/watery cm can be an early indicator, so fx for you both.

I'm exactly the same with googling random stuff, dread to think what my history reads like .

I've not ov'd yet still playing the waiting game, expecting sometime next week so going to start DTD from tomorrow so as not to be too military about it on THE day!! All my OPK's have been negative so far but that's what I was expecting, was just precautionary testing.

What dose of agnus castus are people using. I had a little look in boots and Holland and barrett today and coukd only see very small doses compared to what I have read about...

I take 1 x 1000mg each day not sure if this is right or not?! X

Think I have tracked down some tincture in my local health shop. This is the proper dose. The holland and barrett dose is abput 40mg per tablet do you have to take loads!!!

How dya know if ur cycles are back to normal ?

Hi Shankate normal cycles are around 28 days although everyone is slightly different! Do you remember how long your cycles where before you started taking the pill? I've had 61 day cycle and 42 days so I know I'm not back to normal yet. X

Before I started the pill my cycles were normal on my app when it said 0 days left I would get them that day went on the pill they were still normal It finished there last monday/Tuesday and I'm getting really bad cramps

Shankate, keep going with your OPKs until the test line is as dark or darker than the control. I used the CB ones this month and would highly recommend them!

Have you started your OPKs yet New girl? Hope ov comes for you next week! Any symptoms yet Chapman? How are you Yvonne, first, flamingo, Sunny, GX? Sorry if I've missed anyone out!

I'm 6/7dpo now and still have zero symptoms! Feeling a bit relieved that AF hasn't showed up this weekend though as it appeared exactly 1 week after positive opk last month. Hopefully she doesn't rear her head at all!! Ahh this time next week I should know one way or the other if it's a BFP or BFN xx

Nope no symptoms for me either mind you I was like this last month right up until 13dpo and I got the symptoms of AF and she appeared the next day. I decided to take a pg test today and it was a BFN mind you it's only 10dpo so I'm hoping my hormone isn't strong enough to be picked up yet! How are you?? Xx

Aw it's still early days Chapman, retest in a few days hun. Did you use a FRER? Im good thanks! hopefully going to hold off until Saturday morning to test (preferably Sunday), though knowing I have 2 FRER in the house may make me want to test earlier! Really busy at work so hopefully that will distract me xx

I hope so! No I used an asda first response one it was only a £1 but it's a twin pack haha! it's on the aisle where everything is a £1 cause asda's own are always sold out! I've heard super drug ones are really good! I'm just gonna try and hold out til Thursday if AF doesn't show but like you knowing I have one in the cupboard is tempting! So hope we get bfp I will be so happy I feel everyone around me is getting pregnant! XXXX
