Waiting to try, and cycle a mess from the pill

Just wondering if there are any other lurkers in the same boat as me, planning to TTC in December/January?

I came off the pill three months ago and have only had one pathetic AF in that time, so very glad I came off early but also pretty anxious at how messed up things are, 1st cycle was 39 days, this one is 40 and courting.

So who's with me? I can't be the only person on here who is actually hoping for AF!

Cookie, this cycle our cycles have been similar. I OVd on cd26 and 9 day luteal phase. Fingers crossed you get bfp or at least a longer luteal phase this month x

I'm CD14 today and my opk was almost positive this morning (9.30am).
I plan to do another one this afternoon.
No EWCM at the moment, but it has been more watery the last couple of days. Cervix relatively high.
I really, really hope that ovulation is on it's way as it would give me a very reasonable length cycle of somewhere around 30 days.
Would hopefully make my last 77 day cycle a distant memory!
I have failed to DTD since sunday morning after working 3 long shifts (getting home 10.30pm after 13 hours at work and an hours drive each way) but will get back on it tonight (esp. if my opk is positive or stays almost positive)!

AF has arrived Sad trying to not get too down and telling myself that at least this cycle was shorter at 40 days x

yvonne don't get too down. i see a shorter cycle as def. something to be happy with. i share your frustrations, but we will get there.

My peak OV seems to have shifted again, reckons it was two days ago rather than saturday night based on my Ovia app - not actually tested. Haven't wanted to buy the home OPKs as don't want to press the issue. Feel absolutely exhausted and a bit light headed - but blame that on the first week back at work!!xx

My opk I have just done is not as dark and the one from earlier now looks less close to being positive now that it has dried!
Back off tenterhooks! sigh....

Does anyone take Agnus Cactus? I've got some so want to start taking as I'm not on CD1 but not sure how much and how far into your cycle your meant to take it for? Any tips would be greatly appreciated xx

After saying I wouldn't take it I am considering it too. Will see if I ovulate in next couple of weeks

I just figured it was worth a try! I'm sure I read your only meant to take it until your due to OV that's the tricky bit as my cycles aren't regular so I don't actually know when I'm due to OV apart from observing CM x

I take Agnus Castus, Yvonne! I started taking it last cycle up until suspected ov (according to OPKs). I know there is differing views on it but I feel it has greatly helped to reduce my cycle length. I only take 1 tablet a day xx

cookie I'll probably give it a try if this cycle drags. I'm just a sceptic without proper evidence it works. Driven into me by my job

Oh how does this Agnus cactus work?

I thought it was for PMS symptoms. I have been observing my cm this week and it seems that I may be ovulating but hey ho, I don't know!

It's all so completed xx

Good luck girls, hope it helps to shorten your cycles. Loulla I have no idea how it actually works but had heard a few success stories on this forum and via Google! My cycle went from 55 days to 34 days after using it & is on point to be a similar length if no bfp this month! Xx

AF due Sun 17th, I'm only approx 3 or 4dpo at the moment so at that boring stage where I have no strange symptoms to report! Got my hopes up last month so I'm trying to be more laid back this time (not working!! Blush) sorry to hear about AF Yvonne but FX for a shorter cycle this month! Did you temp or use OPKs? Xx

Hopefully AF won't show up Loula and there won't be any need for it Grin first I take it from CD1, first day of AF. How is your cycle going? do you feel Ov is on the way? Hope your cycle is shorter this month!! Xx
