Waiting to try, and cycle a mess from the pill

Just wondering if there are any other lurkers in the same boat as me, planning to TTC in December/January?

I came off the pill three months ago and have only had one pathetic AF in that time, so very glad I came off early but also pretty anxious at how messed up things are, 1st cycle was 39 days, this one is 40 and courting.

So who's with me? I can't be the only person on here who is actually hoping for AF!

I have been doing OPK sticks everyday, all negative so far.
What supplements did everyone take to help getting cycles back on track?
How is everyone else doing?

Thanks GX & Vicky, really hope it's positive for me this month! The tww officially starts. Vicky I used Agnus Castus for the first half of my cycle the month. I've had cycles of 37 day, 55 and this month is looks like it's going to be 42 days. Very erratic! Xx

Loads to talk about ladies haha! Well I am in the 2ww but I don't actually know when to test think it will be a week on Wednesday! I don't know how I feel at the moment I have no symptoms my boobs are back to normal so we shall wait and see!!

Had a few prosecco over the weekend felt bad then my best friend said you don't even know yet so don't worry! Haven't googled any symptoms yet think just gonna play it out and wait xxxx

How is everyone else doing?
Just done an OPK and I can see the faintest of faint lines but think it's negative. It's only CD9 so I am being a bit keen!! I've not been temping as it really disturbed my sleep, I may try again from tomorrow.
On the new OPK's I have the packet says that a line fainter than the control is negative, does everyone else's say that too? Are we just ignoring that?!

I had the faint lines cookie then they went dark for 2 days then back to faint so I defo think you probably will be close to ov cause when I wasn't ovulating I just had the one negative line. Xx

New girl - keep doing 1 or two a day they should get darker before ur positive opk and then they go faint again after X took me about 5 days from first faint opk , hope urs comes sooner ! Gd luck ! No harm in dtd on the run up to ovulation because some sperm will survive up there for a while! X lol

I'm feeling like shit but hopefully it's short lived , constant nausea is bringing me down and wanting to sleep 24/7 is making running after a 2 ur old very difficult ! I hate to moan about it but will b a lot happier after the 1st trimester !! Waiting patiently for scan date so not much to report other than that , lovely to follow what's happening with u guys it's keeping me going at the moment , feeling very good vibes here someone's about to get their BFP very soon !! Hi all. Yep, AF gone so back On it! hoping soy shortens my cycle a bit, other wise If it's anything like last month I won't be OVing til the new year.

Put our xmas tree up last night so feeling a bit more festive now. Iv got to work Xmas day this year but my DH and family all do jobs where they get like 2 weeks off... I'm green eyed!

New girl, opks definitely need test line to be as dark or darker than control. I seem to get a faint line all through cycle.. Got very dark for OV tho. But others get nothing at all on test line until nearer OV. The only way to know is to keep testing. Late afternoon is best and hold wee for a few hours before.

Gx sorry you are feeling so sick. I just can't imaging feeling sick for such a long time and having to get on with all your normal stuff, looking after toddler etc! Hope you eel better soon. Just think of all those good hormones doing their job.

Chapman I def will carry on having a few drinks through tww, wouldn't get drunk but if it takes a year to conceive I'm going to miss out on a lot if I don't do anything for my tww!

How are we all today? That's good AF is out the way sunny, lots of BD for you! how are you feeling GX? Still nauseous? Hope dd hasn't been wakening you up in the middle of the night past few days- you need to cherish your sleep while you can! New girl your OPKs are looking promising- keep testing and let us know when the line gets darker! Well I'm 1 or 2 days after ov (going by my OPKs). I know this is waaaay TMI but DH and I tried to squeeze in as much BD as we could (tho he had a works night out the day of my positive opk so couldn't bd that night as was sleeping when he got in). This crazy, I know, but today I've felt this heaviness (almost like the start of a uti) down below. It's been very uncomfortable all day. Googling has provided me with lots of positive VERY early conception signs relating to this! Has anyone else heard of this symptom?? Hope it's not just a uti! Also used pressed for the first time this weekend and hope I've not reacted badly to that xx

I will do sunny and gx91 it was just a couple but I won't be doing it again til xmas if I don't get a bfp in the next few weeks or so haha! It seems to be dragging now I just want to know!!! Xxx

Aw thanks Hun! Yes defo haha to be honest I could do with no drinking I just go overboard I can never have a few I'm not feeling any symptoms at all apart from eating like a pig.. Feel like I'm never full! I know this is tmi but all last week felt every time j went to the toilet it was watery then sticky! Xxx

Haha you sound like me, Chapman! I work hard all week and just love a wee tipple at the weekend! Not sure what to do in this tww though will prob wait & stop drinking closer to my test date (or if I have more symptoms). Ooh do you think that could be that could be a sign Chapman? When do you test? Xx

Hahah to be honest I don't drink that much only on occasions! But I do love prosecco! I don't know really I haven't googled any symptoms I've just being taking note of what my body is doing! Don't know why but I tried one of my opk sticks before and I'm getting that faint line again but I know that's negative!! Xxxx

Done another OPK today (after forgetting and not using me best wee after work!) and got a negative again. Thanks for the tip Chapman, I'm sure it's negative now!! But still only CD10 so too early, if I go by last month I've got another week to wait.
I had several guilt free drinks at the weekend, I'm exactly the same I can never have a few!! My test day is going to be on New Year's Day this cycle if I Ov when I expect too!! God what am I going to do.

Yeah cookie but it defo would be to early to tell I think Hun tomorrow it's only 7dpo and I've seen on others posts you can't tell till normally 8dpo onwards and even some can't tell til the full 14dpo! Aw thankyou they need infilling next week but trying to make them last til payday - so hard aw well I've got my fx for you keep p*ssing on them sticks haha! Pregnancy dust for everyone! XXXX

Think I may be approaching Ov as my CM has changed and felt a bit rough yesterday. Fell asleep about 8pm on the sofa which was good for the OH haha! Randomly woke up at 4am with my finger itching (I have some sort of itchy rash on it which makes my finger feel like the skin is crawling but it's never woken me up before) and can barely stay awake at work today after 4 days off. Had a 2 day light period followed by 3 days of light spotting only when i wiped on the 26th Nov..would it be about right to OV now? Not experienced a full natural cycle with OV checking in between.

I was willing to give anything a go and the fact it arrived (ordered it on amazon) on Saturday (same day as my positive opk) seemed to be a sign! I'm now a couple of days into my tww New Girl. I thought I'd ov'd a few weeks ago until I took some OPKs at the weekend & they were clearly positive! Here's hoping for a new year BFP for you! Poin it sounds like you might be approaching ov. Have you used any OPKs?
Well the heavy feeling I had in down below yesterday gradually got worse, to the point i definitely felt I had a UTI! I was really worried last night and kept drinking loads of water to try and flush it out. Feeling much better today thank goodness. It was interesting to read that it's very common to catch these things when DTD becomes more frequent!! Xx

I had a pamper day today which totally helped lol got eyebrow tint , eyelash tint and extensions lol really want to get nails done for Christmas too X
Got DD back and been in a great mood today as sickness hasn't bn as bad !

chapman my opks have always got a faint line on them.. They detect leutenising hormone, which can be present in small quantities throughout cycle. As someone else said tho it is a similar hormone structurally (apparently) to hcg.. So can be positive if pregnant! Good luck. Are you testing in next few days?

poin was the 1st day of your period the 26th.. Would that make you cycle day 12? Do you know when you normally OV? Day 14 is average of you have 28 day cycles... But it's the beginning bit of cycle that normally varies. Most people have 14 day luteal phases (the bit between OV and AF). But what ever yours is it should be roughly the same each cycle. Weird about your itchy finger!

cookie hope your tww goes quickly. Hope you are feeling better soon. I used to get recurrant uti's.. Had antibiotics at least once a month. Always got bad if lots of dtd. Then Thankfully by chance a long course of antibiotics (had them as an anitimalarial med for 4 months when travelling) sorted it out for good a few years ago.

I'm supposed to be doing slimming world. Put on 1.5lbs this week!! Was going to try to be good but just scoffed a mince pie... Was horrified 260 calories in 1 TINY pie!

Genuinely think AF is on its way getting cramps like I did at the end of October before having my first withdrawal bleed and getting terrible spots! Especially on my neck so annoying! On my 1ww now so if I come on before then then I know why! My mood swings are horrible too I'm snapping at the tiniest thing.

Sunny - I did another test yday on the opk stick and it was just negative with one line not with a faint second line so I'm just gonna wait to test til next Wednesday! If AF doesn't show before hand that is! I do slimming world too but I've gone off the rails, just eating what I want but if I get bfp I'm going to have to reign it in and watch what I eat i don't want to be a Kim Kardashian haha!
