I'm currently taking 7 seas TTC plus extra folic acid (carrying a bit of extra timber) and I take evening primrose oil in the run up to ovulation. Thinking about swigging some cough syrup before ovulation too.. not sure if that is too far though!

I tried the cough syrup and found it made no difference, worth a go though as others have said it helps.

Beaut - my last AF started 33 days ago, but it was post abandoned IVF so think the hormones delayed ov to cd 19 making me 14dpo.

I have one pg test in the bathroom, but will see what tomorrow's temp does (providing the puppy let's me get enough sleep) before wasting it. AF due tomorrow according to FF. Xx

Sammy omg imagine if it is a BFP. Sorry I don't mean to get your hopes up. It's just very strange a positive opk 33 days after Af. Either way I've a good feeling you will get a BFP soon. You certainly deserve it.

Glasto I'm taking pregnacare, epo up to ovulation and last month I started taking soy isoflavones. I took them cd 5-9 but this time I'm going to try 3-7. DH is taking 1000mg of Vit C a day and I'm also using opks. I don't temp as when I did before I was even more obsessed than what I am now and it was pissing DH off

Beaut don't worry, you're only saying what a teeny part of me is already hoping. It's virtually impossible though, dh put no spermies in there at the crucial time! X

glasto welcome! I'm on 7 seas too, like the fact that they're tiny little tablets! Got DH on Vit C + Zinc. Like beaut I don't temp anymore though am partial to the odd OPK!

I do temp but am going to stop after I confirm ovulation next cycle as I just beat myself up over every little bump and wiggle during my tww. I do use opks but for some reason they only go positive every other month (despite my temps confirming ovulation). This cycle I also started using preseed as I have read great reviews for it.

woolly - yes I like the petite-ness of the 7 seas tabs too. just got forced to buy some pregnacare (3 for 2 offer and I needed the wellman for OH) and they are like bloody horse tablets!! not looking forward to them.

Cd28 and my temp has finally increased today, not massively though but fx it stays up as we finally got a chance to dtd last night!

nomio I know stress can delay ov but can it delay it by a week do you think? I have been very stressed recently......during the week before I expected ov as well as at the weekend. As I work in a stressful job I wonder whether this might mean my cycles differ from month to month?

** correction, I wonder if the work stress is what causes my cycles to be different lengths each months, as some months are more stressful that others.

I might start keeping a diary of stress & mood and ov days/cycle lengths to see if there's anything in it.

So my temperature this morning was 40.26... I think I found the reason for the spikey chart this cycle and will be buying a new thermometer today!

We dtd last night in case of late ovulation, but AF has arrived this morning, so no need to use that pregnancy test. I'm not too disappointed, as I said it would have been an actual miracle anyway!

After a quick google if seems you get a LH surge right before AF if not pg... Opks should not be used as pg tests. Lesson learned! Ah well:

DizzyN, mine was delayed by 4 days before even though I was on Clomid, so I think a week is probably possible. A mood/stress/ov diary is probably a really good idea. Glasto, I am now 37 1/2 & trying for my first. I desperately want at least 2 children, but am worried about time running out. I think it is quite a common fear among us old birds more mature ladies!

Puppy is doing ok, although not very good at being left alone. It breaks my heart to leave her crying by herself, but she has to get used to it. Xx

Kir Did Af get you as yesterday was just spotting?

Af due today I've done another test and BFN. I usually start spotting the night before and then arrives by morning but last month I started spotting on Af day and it arrived fully the day after so I could be a day out. Do SIs delay Af ?

Yep beaut had awful period pain at 1am. I'm gutted.

SIs brought my ovulation forward by about 4 days, and my AF forward by similar. Had a 10 day lutueal phase but spotted from 2 days before AF. Need to get that lutueal phase lengthened

Next cycle I'm due to ovulate the day I go on holiday, so due AF on my hols.
