Oh eskimo I'm sure they would suggest upping the clomid unless they believed it could work? And there must be other interventions to help you get your baby they can try? Hang in there.

Thank you all for being so kind today. I couldnt have coped with the angst without knowing I can vent on here. AF can be a real tease. Despite the cramps and the discomfort I've still not got full flow AF. Still confused. anyhow I have a large glass of vino to keep me company this evening. If I can't have a baby I can at least drink!

eskimoflo · 21/08/2015 23:49

I think I must have misread my thermometer yesterday, it must have been 36.78 not 36.18 because it's back up this morning! At least my LP hasn't drastically shortened following all the hormones! Fx anyway!

Oops, chart attached this time!

DP has just woken me up to say goodbye as he's off out for the day. He won't be back before I go to work.

I feel angry and fobbed off. He'd promised we'd dtd today but he must have known he'd not be around. Arsehole. Angry

DizzyNorthernBird · 22/08/2015 09:18

sammy that's good news about your temps, hopefully your plans will work out now.

chops I loved your post about your baby being meant to be etc. Such a positive take on things, one thing that has occurred to me is that after all my worry about how we'd have a baby while living in a flat, it's probably not going to be an issue anymore as we'll more than likely have our house now whenever a baby would arrive. I'm now looking at edd next summer at the earliest and we're going to start house hunting again after Xmas! So maybe this is the reason why I'm not pg yet, maybe fate is taking a hand?

DizzyNorthernBird · 22/08/2015 10:05

Ooh Mary berry is on Saturday morning kitchen! I love Mary Smile. I met her once, she's so lovely. Feeling less grumpy about my shit fiancé now Grin

RalucaMorena · 22/08/2015 11:24

Waves to all!
I couldn't change y password for 2 days Hmm
yesterday 12dpo bfn. gp will test my progrsterone and dh can have a SA (if he gets there anytime soon is a question as he avoids doctors like the devil) but bottom line is NHS won't help unless we pay. GP also said because i got pg 3 times she is not concerned but I am as I turned 37. Sad

Rainy34 · 22/08/2015 13:18

DizzynorthenBird I was told in my fertility appointment that we should be doing it every two to three days through out my cycle, I would lean more towards doing it every two days, I feel like you, my dh thinks it only need to be done once, and that is enough, think going last week to the clinic opened his eyes a little!! i Love Mary Berry too!!

wooly im ok, had out first fertility appointment last week and left feeling a bit disheartened, was hoping to be armed with pills to help but have to have another blood test and dh has to have another sperm test, his motility is low, but was told to keep going and come back in three months!!

Pikz such a well deserved bfp!!, so happy for you!!

Sammy bring on the twins, thats what i say!!, hope you enjoy having your new puppy on Sunday!!

Chops I love how you describe that you were destined with this child, such a lovely outlook, hope your doing well?!!

Eskimo big hugs, it must be so difficult to stay strong, i am so hoping that upping the dose will work this time!!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 22/08/2015 15:35

Could kick myself 9dpo and smart arse thought ooh I know I'll waste that cb digital. Obviously negative & pretty certain will remain negative as I've no symptoms. Well just wind and diarrhoea Blush. Does pregnacare cause loose stools ?

Rainy34 · 22/08/2015 16:22

Beautician maybe its still to early to show up on the tests, I have been on pregnacare since January and i have not noticed that they have made me had any problems, keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

chopsface · 22/08/2015 18:27

I have heard pregnacare affecting people in nasty ways beaut that's why I've chosen seven seas! 9dpo too early! Especially for a digi!

rainy how bad is dh's motility? Is he taking 1000mg vit C? Remember those free radicals stopping the good ones breaking free from the bad.

Pikz · 22/08/2015 19:47

Chops I take seven seas too as pregnacare made me nauseous

RalucaMorena · 22/08/2015 20:24

Every time I took pregnacare I got pregnant before I finished first pack. .. except for now... I don't think I am pregnant and I nearly finished it. [Hmm]

Rainy34 · 22/08/2015 21:14

chops i don't have the figures to hand , i know quantity was meant to be 15 million and he has 6 million, on his sperm count and i am not sure what the motility was but i know it was a slightly out, he is not taking anything at the moment, he asked at the appointment and they told him that is was not proven that any of these help so now he knows best and i know jack sh**t!!

chopsface · 22/08/2015 21:39

I believe in the power of the vitamins rainy! My dh had several sperm tests over the course of our fertility investigations and I saw an improvement since taking Wellman and it was 3 months from when be started taking vit C to our bfp. He also gave up caffeine and we tried to eat better too.

spinningirl10 · 22/08/2015 21:48

Rainy, if your Dh knows you're on MN please tell him that you know of ladies here who have seen a great improvement from taking vits. Why will he not give it a go? Surely it has to be worth a try!

Rainy34 · 22/08/2015 21:49

Chops i too totally believe that vitamins are the way to go, he was taking the well man vitamins but he has stopped, he is eating a lot better and is taken up doing some exercise, I'm trying to think how i could secretly get the extra vitamins into him without him knowing!!, one good thing is he does not have any caffeine , and cut out junk food

Hairstylisttoboris · 22/08/2015 22:18

ral sorry for the bfn, test again in a few days if you can

rainy don't gove up on trying to convince him that vitamins are the way forward. My DH thinks I'm full of crap I learn on hear that's not medical evidence...
I'm thinking about making smoothies on the mornings for me and DH - fruit and yoghurt etc. great way of getting extra vitamins in your diet and not in the form of expensive pills. You can buy frozen fruit in the supermarket which works well.

I take pregnacare as and when I can afford it. I think it initially made me feel nauseous but not anymore. It adds 1-2 days into my pathetically shit and short cycles so I stick with it.

Thinking of which, new stats:

Hairstylisttoboris, 37, ttc1 cycle 14? BFP due 16/9/15

Pikz · 22/08/2015 22:21

Rainy I bought dissolvable ones. dh was ok with those and said he felt better taking them but you could just drop it in his morning drink

Kirjava · 23/08/2015 07:19

Sorry your dh's aren't playing ball. I'm sure they'll see how important it is.

I'm feeling really down. 8dpo, testing weds and already despairing about getting af/bfn. I know I'm not out, I know I've done everything right this month and that I should assume Me and Dh are perfectly healthy, but I just find it so difficult to believe I'll ever see a bfp.

Why is ttc so difficult and so boring? Sad

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 23/08/2015 08:52

I'm not going to take pregnacare today to see if it is causing my windy/toilet troubles Grin I wish it was a pregnancy symptom but I just don't feel it Sad 10dpo

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 23/08/2015 08:55

Kir that's exactly how I feel. I know I'm not out yet either but I just know Af is going to turn up on Wednesday and I'll be onto cycle 12. I get more and more upset at her arrival every month. Right now I want to eat cakeSmile

Rainy34 · 23/08/2015 09:48

Spinning, boris pikz, He asked at the fertility appointment if they he should take vitamins and because they told him there was no studies to say that they helped only maybe to try zinc, He told me that they were the experts and he would listen to them, even when i said to them i was convicted my spotting was worse when i did not take pregnacare they told me they are only vitamins they won't control your spotting, well info alert when i take them the spotting is a lot less, Im going to keep at him to take them, I will tell him that ladies on here have had there men take them when there sperm wasn't great.

Kirjava its not over yet, i know how you feel, how long have you been trying for?

Beauticain You could try the seven seas conception tablets, they are a lot milder , i hope your windy troubles are down to you getting a bfp!!

RalucaMorena · 23/08/2015 10:44

Yesterday I had a bfn and today I spilled my guts half way through the coffee. Hmm
