Peardrop - age 33, TTC cycle #9, DS is 26 months (stopped bf soon to be 4 months ago). Af returned when DS 14months, currently on CD14 and have had 4 flashing smileys. Praying for a static smiley tomorrow! Dangling legs in air!

*I not u

I think pms just found me........ I may have just got mad at a plastic jug. Doh!

LetThereBeCupcakes · 04/08/2015 08:09

Those plastic jugs can be total bastards though, mini. Grin

MinisMama13 · 04/08/2015 08:24

Hahahaha I'm glad you understand cupcake! Wink

ispyfispi · 04/08/2015 08:57

Ooh still that sounds promising Mini!

I've had a fairly strong +ive on opk this morning so kicking myself for not remembering to buy sticks yesterday.

ispyfispi · 04/08/2015 09:21

*ic opk

peardrop2 · 04/08/2015 13:24

Mini - what's the latest? Did you test this morning?

Let there be cupcakes - AF doesn't arrive until Friday so I'm not out yet Wink I know how you feel with your friend. It's weird, every time one of my NCT friends announced their 2nd pregnancy I said to myself I hope I'll be pregnant before their baby arrives but nope Confused However, I saw a NCT friend today with her 1 month old and wow does it look tough to manage. She basically said she can't do anything with ds1 because he needs too much attention so basically they've continued to have him in nursery 3 days a week and the other two days she's at home with him. So this really explains why I'm feeling like I've lost all my friends if they're all feeling house bound with two children! Yet again my DS was being super cute with the baby. Going up to it and stroking the blanket. He would make the best big brother. It's making it so damn hard AngrySad

Anyway, 8dpo today. I'm putting all my hopes on getting my blood results back on Friday.

Thanks for all the comments about shared birthdays. I guess I'm struggling because I can't imagine what it would have been like to share a birthday with a sibling. Birthdays were always a massive deal to me so I can't imagine enjoying sharing it!

Ispy - if it helps I got a strong opk but it wasn't until the next day that I got my static smiley. Might not be too late for you. Plus you know you can test with the smiley sticks at any time of day right?

MinisMama13 · 04/08/2015 13:57

Cupcake sorry I missed your post earlier!
My best friend is 9 weeks pg with dc2 and our babies were born together. They got pg fairly easily both times and I just have the why is it not that easy feeling although I'm stupidly excited for them too!

Ispy I've never used the digital sticks but if you can do them any time get one done this afternoon! A strong positive sounds good!

Pear BFN this morning. I think af will be here tomorrow. I'm trying to look at the bright side that I got a day further without serious spotting although we've been out so I have no clue if it's started yet! Mini has just fallen asleep on me too!
Don't forget that your ds will make a great big brother whenever it happens for you, he sounds very caring and I think that'll only continue as he gets older and understands more. Fx for your blood results. I hate waiting but you've got a double wait there!

Had a lovely morning out with my boys and it took my mind off everything. Will probably test again tomorrow as I can't help myself!

peardrop2 · 04/08/2015 14:27

Aw thanks Mini. You're right. He's so affectionate and that won't disappear will it! I'm always kissing him and now he kisses me back lots which is really sweet. I think I'm very much stuck in the "now" when sometimes I need to think ahead and imagine him helping me with things when he's 3 plus.

We're going to see more friends this afternoon with more babies so I've just got to suck it up and get real about it all. Tomorrow and Thursday are busy days so that will help.

How are you doing Dougal? How did your appt go today?

Boo red spotting has found me. A good 30 hours further along than usual though so that's good! Not sure my lp will actually be longer though as I think af may still arrive tomorrow!

peardrop2 · 04/08/2015 17:51

Mini Hmm sorry! I'm trying to persuade my sister to go for a drink with me on Friday so that Sod's law AF stays away longer Wink

OP posts:
MinisMama13 · 04/08/2015 18:00

Hahaha sorry. Normally I have red spotting from mid morning 9dpo and all day 10dpo with af starting on what would be 11dpo so I have a 10 day lp. Spotting has really been here properly this afternoon but is still a browny red so I think my lp may be improving but knowing my luck af will still show tomorrow making my lp 10 days still just with less spotting but hopefully there's been an improvement. Hope that makes sense. I kind of ramble so apologies

ispyfispi · 04/08/2015 20:35

Makes perfect sense Mini! Sorry it sounds like af is on the way though.

I think my lo will make a terrible big brother! He's soooo the baby of our family as the other 2 are so much older, I think he'd hate having to share them. He does seem quite interested in babies though but he just still seems so little himself!

I bought some more sticks and got another damned flashing smiley. There was definitely a strong line on the ic though and lots of ewcm so really hoping for the fixed tomorrow as you did Pear. I hope you get your sister booked in for drinks on Friday, that's a great idea either way!

MinisMama13 · 04/08/2015 20:53

Ispy I often think ds is still a baby himself so I can't imagine him being a big brother!
With a strong ic and lots of ewcm I'd say get dtd anyway! Hopefully you'll get your fixed one tomorrow Smile

As rational as I can almost make myself sound, I've just been googling implantation bleeding Grin Setting myself up but ho hum!

peardrop2 · 04/08/2015 21:52

Yep Ispy...get busy Wink

Drink booked. Ready to face AF head on Confused

OP posts:
ispyfispi · 04/08/2015 22:24

Well dh has had a flare up of tendonitis and is currently rolling around in agony so dtd is probably off the cards ????

peardrop2 · 04/08/2015 22:28

Ispy - I had that! How has he got it? I got it from rocking DS to sleep for 6 months plus Confused

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 04/08/2015 22:29

Pants though Ispy Hmm Sad for you. Could you compromise for the crack of dawn dtd?

OP posts:
MinisMama13 · 04/08/2015 22:36

Ooo what Pear said to get some dtd action in! Although even with a positive ic it could be 48 hours until ov!

MinisMama13 · 04/08/2015 22:48

*disclaimer! - obsessing post!

Ff has my testing date as tomorrow because of my lp being between 8 and 11 days post baby, average is 10.
Now obviously this could have lengthened but even so surely 11dpo could still be considered early to test? I mean my lp prior to ds was 10-12 days and it was due to lack of spotting at 12dpo that I tested at 13dpo with ds and got a pretty faint positive. My point being would it even show yet?

Tmi from this evening is that after some red at 4pm it's been brown and hardly there again since. The last time I went to the toilet it was only there because I checked CP again! I know, I know, I'm rolling my eyes at myself!

peardrop2 · 04/08/2015 22:54

lol Mini Smile I feel a bit queasy trying to work it all out for you Grin I don't have any answers Hmm Best advice I can give is go to sleep and test in 7 hours time Wink

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 04/08/2015 22:57

Interestingly though FF has not brought my recommended test date forward even though it should know that I normally have a 10/11dpo. It's telling me to test on Monday which would be 14dpo. Interesting how it has adjusted for you and not me!

OP posts:
MinisMama13 · 04/08/2015 22:58

Sorry lovely I'm being gross. I don't have anyone to talk about it too and yeh. I don't know why I'm suddenly so wound up. I think because it's unusual for me. Equally my body has never been particularly regular so I should know better really. I will go and give myself a talking to!

Thanks for listening/reading Grin

peardrop2 · 04/08/2015 22:59

Oh and lots of ladies get their bfp on 10dpo so I don't think it would be too early to test for some. I got my bfp on dpo 11 with my son. 10dpo was a bfn for what it's worth!

OP posts:
MinisMama13 · 04/08/2015 23:00

It definitely said test date August 5th as I double checked thinking it'd be later in the week! Weird!
