Peardrop - age 33, TTC cycle #9, DS is 26 months (stopped bf soon to be 4 months ago). Af returned when DS 14months, currently on CD14 and have had 4 flashing smileys. Praying for a static smiley tomorrow! Dangling legs in air!

Also, this morning I woke up with feelings of cystitis coming on. I've been drinking gallons of water today to try and fight it. I'm now googling and reading about ladies with the same problem and resulting in bfps. Oh why oh why did I start googling Grin

Hahaha step away from Google!

You never know though Wink

peardrop2 · 02/08/2015 20:44

Just to clarify not the burning pee signs. More like that full bladder feeling when you don't need to pee if that makes sense Blush

MinisMama13 · 02/08/2015 21:06

I knew what you meant! The full bladder thing is definitely a symptom!

I keep looking at my chart as if it's magically going to say pregnant. I stopped temping after ov which I'm now thinking was silly! So it's literally just me listing any teeny symptom. I knew I'd go crazy this time!

ispyfispi · 02/08/2015 22:46

Sorry to hear that Dougal, so close yet so far ???? great that you've seen some improvements though.

Mini, my lo is also refusing to be carried anymore ???? I miss my sling! Can't wait to use it again next time round. I would definitely avoid a double buggy and just go with stroller and sling.

Pear I feel your pain re. the cystitis and hope it gets better not worse. I've managed to avoid another bout this month despite the dtd marathon and ????!

Day 7 of flashing smileys here, only one stick left. Who are these women that only get 2 flashing ones before a fixed?! Lots of ewcm though so I'm hopeful still. I'm just hoping for an improvement on last month.

A girl I know from bf support group has just announced the birth of her second, her dd isn't even 2 yet!

MinisMama13 · 03/08/2015 08:16

Ispy I think a sling and pushchair would be my option but DH said he'd want a double.
I hope you get your fixed smiley today, Lots of ewcm is a good sign!

Well I managed to resist testing but after checking CP there was a hint of pink on the tissue so I think I'm out

peardrop2 · 03/08/2015 08:38

Morning! 7dpo today for me and I have my blood test this morning (boo). On the bright side DS is going off for a few hours with DH so I'll have a break and can cook and paint my nails in peace! I was planning to garden but it looks like it might rain (secretly happy about that Wink). The full bladder symptoms have passed now.phew!

How are you ladies carrying DC in a sling for so long?!?! I couldn't carry DS passed 6 months!

peardrop2 · 03/08/2015 08:39

Oooo Mini, you don't think implantation? I hate spotting...really gets your hopes up!

OP posts:
MinisMama13 · 03/08/2015 08:51

Pear I'd like to be optimistic as it's not anything other than a hint of pink but I always spot for at least 2 days before af. I'll see how it progresses today as I guess you never know! I don't think I'll count it as spotting just yet as if I hadn't been checking CP I wouldn't know about it!
I still occasionally carrying ds in our ringsling but he generally fights me now. I carried him regularly until Jan/Feb time. We have had a few different slings and carriers as he got bigger. I weighed him last week and he's a giant so I'm not surprised I struggle when he's fighting me now! He asks for his pushchair now and climbs in!

ispyfispi · 03/08/2015 10:34

Yes I had a baby bjorn type thing with dcs1&2 which I could only manage til 6months or so but I discovered woven wraps this time and can still comfortably carry ds 20mo when he lets me!

peardrop2 · 03/08/2015 10:44

Wow ispy you must have a back of steel! I've not heard of woven wraps. I must say I haven't seen any toddler being carried in a sling around my area. I can imagine my DS loving the idea as he always wants to be carried. He is so tall and heavy though I would buckle over if I was carrying him around for longer periods Grin

Aww Mini. I do hope it isn't spotting! I really hate how the 2ww gets your hopes up and then it all ends Hmm I am currently in the naive stage where I float around hoping I could be pregnant but also know that my floaty days could be over soon Confused I've had my blood test. Ouchy arm now Hmm I'm really glad I've got a couple of hours to myself now. Going to start on getting ahead with cooking and ironing Woop Woop Grin

peardrop2 · 03/08/2015 10:46

Ispy - Thanks for your sympathy. Thankfully the feelings have vanished this morning and I will keep up my water intake in hope that they stay away! What will you do? Buy more sticks or just monitor any signs and keep dtd?

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 03/08/2015 13:50

Oh bugger boo. Just as my hopes started to rise I can now feel a very AF type spot approaching on my chin Hmm Stupid stupid 2ww! How cruel it all is Hmm

OP posts:
MinisMama13 · 03/08/2015 15:59

Ispy I'm hoping to learn how to wrap properly if we have number 2 as I got to it too late with ds after loving buckles!

Pear yay for a couple of hours to yourself and getting your blood test out the way!
The 2ww sucks! Although spots don't necessarily mean anything as I had horrendous skin when first pg with ds!

Well more hint of pink but only when wiping. I'd usually have proper spotting by now at 9dpo. That said I may have given into the poas temptation and it's definitely bfn. It was also 3:30 lol

peardrop2 · 03/08/2015 18:51

Mini - that's true, they don't always mean anything BUT my skin has really cleared up in the last 2 months and I've not had breakouts like this for a while so it's not making me feel confident Hmm I really wish I could be more confident! 3 more days and the misery of waiting will be over!

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 03/08/2015 20:39

I've just read the graduate thread Hmm I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm doing everything I said I wouldn't this month. Obsessing, walking into depressing traps, poas like a maniac (although I haven't tested this week, yet). Weirdly though they're all talking about feeling the cold and how they think that is because they're pregnant...well I felt cold recently... A sign? Grin It seems very busy but then there have been a lot of bfps!

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 03/08/2015 20:44

Oh and I have to admit to practically drooling over a 4 week old baby in the park yesterday Blush

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 03/08/2015 21:17

Just looked back at my charts and see that I last had a pre AF spot in March Hmm Really think I'm out now Confused

OP posts:
MinisMama13 · 03/08/2015 21:29

My skin goes through stages of looking crap! I do noticed the odd mini breakout which is definitely hormonal. I may have been looking at baby clothes briefly in tesco yesterday Blush

I'm definitely out, teeny bit of brown spotting but it always does that and then goes red. I'm not necessarily counting today's though as it's been miniscule amounts. Means my lp without spotting is at least 12 hours longer even if I counted it now which is good. I started proper ttc/pg/bf vitamins about 5 weeks ago rather than just folic acid and I'm wondering if they're helping!

peardrop2 · 03/08/2015 21:50

Oh Mini. I was so hoping we would be the next two bfps ???? I don't think it's helped that I've been eating a lot of sweets today Confused

I honestly don't know what I will do next month. Looks like I would ovulate the same day we conceived DS and I'm just not convinced having two children with birthdays the same week is fair on DC1 Hmm Also, I don't think I can keep going even though I know I say I can't afford to take a break. Maybe I should take a month off like Ava did. Ugh the whole thing is just Urgh!

OP posts:
ispyfispi · 03/08/2015 22:38

Pear I really wouldn't worry about the birthdays. The chances of being on the same day are minuscule. My 3dcs were born at 42+2, 40+5 and 38+4, so practically a whole months difference in gestation!

ispyfispi · 03/08/2015 22:55

And to answer your earlier question, I was totally planning on buying more sticks but completely forgot. I think I'm going to have to pee in a pot and test it once I've been out Confused

Hope you're doing alright Mini x

MinisMama13 · 04/08/2015 08:05

Pear in all honesty I'd go for it, we did when ttc this time even though ds already shares his birthday, poor boy!
I ate loads of rubbish yesterday!

Ispy don't forget your sticks! I've been known to pee in a pot and keep it a bit to dip tests in!

Not a clue what's going on. 10dpo and a bfn and no real spotting. Some brown streaked cm but my spotting is usually red Confused It means I am clinging on to a teeny bit of hope even though u should know better!

LetThereBeCupcakes · 04/08/2015 08:07

Sorry it's not your month mini and pear. Pear honestly don't worry about the birthdays, there are always ways around it. So long as they each have their own special day / party etc (as long as they want to) they will be fine! I used to know two sisters who's birthdays were very close and they always chose to have a joint party because they liked to pretend they were twins (two years between them but the younger one was quite tall so they looked very similar in age). They loved it!

I've got a couple of spots on my face for the first time in aaages but I'm actually hoping it IS AF. When I finally get my period back I'll at least feel there's some hope for ttc number 2.

A good friend of mine announced that she's 12 weeks pg with her 2nd DC. Her son is a couple of weeks younger than mine. I'd be jealous, but I know she was trying for about 18 months before getting pg so I can't be anything but happy for her! Just hope I'm upduffed by the time her little one arrives or I'll be in a right state.

LetThereBeCupcakes · 04/08/2015 08:07

Sorry mini cross post - fx for you!
