Welcome to the thread for TTCers who track too much, spot to much and use most of our expendable income in Internet Cheapies.

Cycle 5 or 55 we don't care this is a place for your hopeful twaddle and necessary pre-conception ranting.

I haven't had my referral through so I've done a self-referral. Fingers crossed that'll come through this week.

I did a pregnancy test when I got home from holiday as despite puking a few times a day and various other symptoms, still wanted to 'make sure'. The second the 'ink' hit the test area a line darker than the control came up! Haha.

Anyone else really bloated? My jeans are far too tight and by the evenings I am huge! Yet barely eating anything and lost weight. It hurts to hold my tummy in, not that I can get it in that far, but letting it hang, I feel like I'm 'pretending I'm pregnant.' Anyone else or is this just me?

Told in laws today, they were over the moon. :-)

Must be due some POAS?? Ace? Fattyfishwife?.

LastOneDancing · 10/08/2015 12:39

Hey all.
Yes MrsP despite my efforts not to eat through the nausea, I'm busting out of my jeans and have a huge bloated tummy Sad I feel massive but have little appetite - it's as if somethings stuck just under my ribs IYKWIM?

Scan date has come! Monday 7th Sept. The day after a big family wedding... If only it could have been the Friday so I could have had an excuse for busting out of my dress Wink

Mind you, I suspect it will be fairly obvious by then so really tempted to book a private scan and check everything is ok before seeing everyone... what do you think?

MrsPCR · 11/08/2015 09:00

Glad to hear it's not just me LOD! I suppose it's worse for you as it's your second so your body knows what it's doing. That's annoyingish about the scan! You could have a private late August then there's still a difference between the two?

I am worrying myself because my sickness is much improved and not yet 8 weeks, but I'm hoping it's just because now I'm home I can eat more regularly, smaller, lighter meals and avoid milk which apparently comes straight back up.

Got my booking in appointment next Friday. Grin

Hi everyone,

I'm in the TWW - due to test in a week... (cycle 1, TTC #1, 30 years old) finding it impossible to not monitor and google all symptoms!! Other half left this morning for a week's business trip - so no one to keep me in check.

So AF isn't due for another week, but for the past 3-4 days I've been having cramps. The first few days it was like intense bolts of cramps on my right side which came and went, and today its been like a dull ache most of the day. Seems a bit early to be period cramping so I'm really hoping its a sign that I've implanted - what do you think?

(It may also, be absolutely nothing, but that option is much less exciting to think about)

chelle792 · 16/08/2015 07:09

Where is everyone?

Sorry for disappearing on you all! For some reason the thread came off my watch list!

9 weeks today!

I've a definite tummy growing already. That or I'm very bloated. Had the date for 12 week scan, which I've cancelled. Going to just have a listen to the heartbeat which is really exciting! So seeing the midwife on the 6th for that.

My second scan date was booked for the day before my wedding so have moved it a few days earlier.

Anyone else off food? The only thing I can reliably eat at the moment is chicken and chips or a roast dinner as long as the only vegetable is broccoli. Mac D's and Nandos are my friend!

Rickalicious · 16/08/2015 15:16

Hi everyone,I'm back from my honeymoon :-) Had a fab time but was so tiring moving from place to place and the heat didn't help either.

Apart from tiredness, which was manageable by lots of resting, the only other symptoms were big boobs (not too sore) and nausea. I was actually sick once when we got up early for sea kayaking but i blame the tiredness for that. That theory has been backed up by today! Had a wedding yesterday, so after landing Fri afternoon and my body clock being all out I was out from 9am (hair app) to 9:30pm. I'm actually quite proud of lasting that long! Today I was exhausted so stayed in bed til 2pm but forced myself out to do a food shop. Heaved all the way round so only got essentials then chucked when I got home. The hubby helpfully asked if I was ok from his horizontal position in the bed whilst i had my head in the toilet!

Have my booking app tues due to being away and I'll be 10 weeks going by my LMP so hopefully not long to wait for the scan.

It's been fairly quiet I see, glad I haven't missed much. How is everyone? Any testing due?

Hello to all the new people too :-) x

chelle792 · 16/08/2015 15:40

Welcome back rik. Glad to hear you had a good time.

My OH is despairing at my hormones! Yesterday he laughed (while cuddling me) because I was going through my fifth or maybe tenth hysterical crying fit in two days. Luckily for him it worked in his favour and I laughed through my tears and told him I was glad he found my hormones amusing!

My boobs have been so sore! But I got measured and have gone up three bra sizes! Mental!

Rickalicious · 16/08/2015 16:36

When should you get measured for a maternity bra? I kind of want to wait until the scan just so I know everything is ok. I feel like even buying something as small as a maternity bra is too soon x

FattyFishwife · 16/08/2015 17:55

Hi ladies, sorry i have been awol for a week or so. We Discovered (a huge shock and surprise) my nan had liver cancer less than 3 weeks ago (after being told she had a tummy bug causing her constant d & v and osteoporosis causing her back pain!!)

She was told to wait for an appointment with the specialist within 2 weeks, but her condition worsened and we had to have her admitted to hospital, to be told she had 2-8 weeks left. The day after, a Macmillan nurse assessed her and she felt it was more likely to be a week or less.

We had our annual holiday booked for last week and had to go for the kids (took our 2 youngest aged 12 and 5) as my mum wouldnt hear of me staying home, citing that I couldnt do anything to alter the outcome, and that my kids needed to make happy memories more than anything, so we went, on sat 8th

A week to the day that nurse assessed her, and less than 3 weeks since her diagnosis, my lovely nan lost her fight for life on friday sad

throw into that a big fat AF coming, when i thought this may be THE month, so i couldnt even go in the pool or sea, and worst of all .....no possibility for a BFP for another month sad

meh....gotta keep on keeping on havent you!

aaaand....breathe!

Rickalicious · 16/08/2015 22:11

Fatty I'm so sorry for your loss, what an awful time you must be going through.

My thoughts are with you and your family xxx

FattyFishwife · 17/08/2015 00:30

Thanks my lovely. ...means a lot....back on the bike as regards ttc as it were :)

Onwards and upwards

chelle792 · 17/08/2015 07:13

Oh my goodness fatty. What an awful time for you. Best wishes to you all Flowers make sure you take care of yourself xx

rik are you comfortable in your current bras? Even my nipples were escaping mine! I've just bought two regular non underwire bras from Debenhams. £16 for the two and worth every penny for comfort. I even wear them at night now as my boobs are feeling so heavy!

Rickalicious · 17/08/2015 10:50

Chelle, I don't feel too bad in them, they feel a bit tight towards the end of the day and my boobs do end up bubbling over the top if I'm not too careful.

I know what you mean about wearing a bra to bed, I was thinking of wearing my sports bra to bed to keep them under control when I turn over!

chelle792 · 20/08/2015 11:04

I reckon as long as you're comfortable then it's all good Smile

MrsPCR · 21/08/2015 20:36

Sorry to hear this Fattyfishwife Flowers. Good luck this month!

Rik, I went for a bra fitting unsure if mine were still ok, turns out I've gone up 2 cup sizes and now need a bigger back size. Plus having non-wired is so much more comfortable! After the fitting I put my bra back on and I realised how uncomfortable they actually were.

Had my booking in appointment today. Feels a little more real. Scan booked for 10th September. Feels like ages away!

Hope you're all doing ok.

TheNewMrsD · 22/08/2015 20:24

Hi, Rik here, name changed.

I went for a fitting today..... Gone up 3 cup sizes! Am much more comfortable now :-)

Had my scan date through too, 4th Sept, but am on a hen do then so am going to see if they have something earlier in the week.

chelle792 · 23/08/2015 08:36

Hi Rik,

Seems like we are all blooming in the bra department!! I'm so bloated these days that I feel like a frump! Meeting my ex next weekend at the wedding of a mutual friend. First time I will meet OW! Feeling like a frump is not the look I need Wink

I'm feeling a bit envious of all these scans. Sad decided not to have the 12 week scan. I'm going to be awful. I don't want any examinations, sweeps, etc. I hate am bloody scared witless all the medical stuff. I had a dream a couple of nights ago that I delivered baby at home with just me and OH because midwives weren't quick enough.

FattyFishwife · 23/08/2015 22:13

Im still here, having a month off trying whilst i get through nans funeral, but back to it after wednesday :)

chelle792 · 25/08/2015 15:33

Bleeding Sad

TheNewMrsD · 25/08/2015 17:28

Chelle, I've heard bleeding is quite common but go and get yourself checked out please. Hope you're ok x

chelle792 · 25/08/2015 18:36

I've spoken to my midwife and she said that I need to give her a buzz if I start cramping. I've had some cramps but the bleeding seems to have stopped for now. I'm feeling much calmer now and less tearful.

TheNewMrsD · 25/08/2015 19:52

That's good to hear. It's all so scary isn't it. I'm always here if you need to chat x

chelle792 · 25/08/2015 21:09

Thankyou Flowers I really appreciate it. My nan is down for the week so I'm trying to be brave. Still bleeding a little. I've text my midwife to find out the chances of getting an early scan shocking considering i wasn't even going to have a 12 week scan. She's going to ring me tomorrow to talk it through.

I'm curled up in bed now with tummy cramps and a little bleeding. I just want to see my baby.

OH said he'll go steady with the sex next time Blush he wasn't rough but I ended up in a pool of blood Sad tmi, sorry. I just want to cry

TheNewMrsD · 26/08/2015 09:30

Oh Chelle, you don't need to be brave, i'm sure your nan would understand.

I hope you can get a scan, it will make you feel so much better to see your baby. Let me know how it all goes Flowers x

chelle792 · 26/08/2015 12:45

I cant stop crying. More blood today. Booked a private scan for 3.30
NHS here will only provide one if I've had two previous miscarriages
