Welcome to the thread for TTCers who track too much, spot to much and use most of our expendable income in Internet Cheapies.

Cycle 5 or 55 we don't care this is a place for your hopeful twaddle and necessary pre-conception ranting.

Thanks for you words Chelle. Makes me a feel more normal. I know there's nothing I can do and chances are the outcome has already been decided.

Sorry to hear about your fall Rik! Hope you don't bruise too badly. I'm sure baby will be ok as the uterus is still protected by the pubic bone. I know what you mean about strange reactions. I got my head and for a moment panicked that it might harm the baby....

I'm just a walking vom bucket now. I bruised my hip on god knows what running for the bathroom this morning, sick in my hands. Today I'm just sick after eating. Grr! Although dinner has yet to reappear.

Good luck tomorrow Rik!! Enjoy yourself!

chelle792 · 25/07/2015 07:11

rik have a fabulous day! I'll be thinking of you Flowers

mrs p it's funny what it does to us. I keep waking up in the morning with both hands over my belly. Very protective! And every time my beast of a dog come galloping towards me, again, I get into a protective stance. Glad my words helped a little Smile it's hard to keep calm over it all though. I'm getting so many cramps and sharp pains that I can't help but wonder what's going on.

I'm so thankful that the sickness for me has subsided but the feeling of wanting to puke is so intense!! Yesterday I refused to go in the kitchen for most of the day because it smelt so disgusting (it doesn't really!!! Blush). I just didn't have much to drink all day cuz I couldn't even bring myself to go in their and make one. I just held my breath and made a quick one every so often!! Grin

LastOneDancing · 25/07/2015 09:20

Oooh Rik is today the day?! Have a fabulous one and enjoy every moment!

As my life currently consists of constantly being trodden on/squashed/accidentally kicked in the stomach or boob/ jumped on/ wrestled; plus being made to carry an almost 2 stone dead weight around several times a day, I am def less precious this time round than in my first pregnancy Grin

LOD that made me laugh and put it into perspective a bit. The human body is amazing. We're all reading the no heavy lifting stuff, but our bodies are designed for what you're doing. They're not quite as fragile as we may think!

Chelle, I think the aches are normal. I get an almost constant dull ache, especially when sat in the car for prolonged periods. Sometimes it's really bad and makes me go quiet, but so far so good and no spotting so I think we're ok.

Hope you've had a wonderful day Rik!

Thanks for the support ladies. You're stopping me going completely mental!

chelle792 · 26/07/2015 19:01

Met the midwives yesterday. They were really lovely. One of them said a friend of hers gave her loads of disposable nappies to give away so would I like them! So now i have loads of nappy liners of various sizes!!

I'm so unbelievably tired today!! Yesterday we went out with the in laws to look around this house and gardens but I struggled so much! My body aches and I cant stop yawning.

Hope today went well rik!!

Isn't it lizzies wedding in a few weeks?

Rickalicious · 26/07/2015 22:45

It was absolutely amazing and I didn't miss alcohol one bit! Luckily nobody noticed either.

Off on honeymoon tomorrow so speak to you all in 3 weeks!

Hope there are some more BFPs when I get back Smile

Aceberry · 27/07/2015 13:42

We I am now in my TWW! DTD everyday over the fertile period - so gave it my best (well, DH's) shot!

I think I ovulated earlier than normal too. Anyway, testing now on 10 August....

Wish my uterus luck!

chelle792 · 27/07/2015 14:07

ace fingers crossed for you!! This thread has gone quiet for testing so at the moment you're the only upcoming tester we have, I think? Let's hope this cycle is a lucky one!!

LastOneDancing · 27/07/2015 14:07

Great news Rik, glad you had a wonderful day and I hope your honeymoon is just as perfect Thanks also hope your DH didn't forget to arrange the visas like mine did... Grin

Everything crossed Ace! Make sure you keep us updated on any symptoms.

chelle was it the private MW you met?

OP posts:
chelle792 · 28/07/2015 16:57

Yes, it was private. Two of them came. They were very lovely.
And I meant reusables... Not disposables Blush

Have you ladies seen my thread in the feminism section? It's all kicking off with controversy because I mentioned a man bashing tv advert. Great fun! Grin I'm not a feminist, just live my life how I want but some are getting angry! Blush

We've finally had paperwork through from solicitors! Looks like we won't be losing our house after all! It's going to be ours in a matter of weeks. Massive relief!

ace how do you fancy your chances? Any symptoms?

FattyFishwife · 28/07/2015 19:41

AF came 3 days early for me this month, making this a 23 day cycle (2nd one after my MC) my cycles before the MC have been regular 26 days cycles.

I had a box of 10 CB digi OPk's, so used them from just before my app said i should have ovulated for the 23 day cycle, right through to the day after i should have ovulated on my 26 day cycle...peed religiously every day FMU, and got big fat negative blank circles on every stick....so ive no idea when i ovulated, or even IF....so am in a 2 week wait that either started 3 days ago, or today....and could be waiting for bugger all!

good job i have a stash of 50 IC sticks under my desk, Ive a feeling many of them will be getting used in the next 10-15 days!

Aceberry · 30/07/2015 21:05

Hi ladies!

Okay 6dpo pretend/actual symptoms include really strong sense of smell and a little nausea...

I have a FRER - AF is due Monday 10 August - when shall I do my first poas (I do have 4 frer tests - amazon accidentally double purchase BlushConfused)

MrsPCR · 30/07/2015 22:01

Good luck fattyfishwife and aceberry. I wait until 12dpo bc chances of showing positive before are soooo slim. I got BFN 12 dpo this month, although I only waited about 4 minutes and mine take 8-10. When I looked again after BFP 2 days later it was also positive and I personally have never had an evap.

Do you not temp Fattyfishwife? I'd seriously recommend it, then you're not in this limbo of unknown. I also liked to know come CD15, there was nothing more we could do that month! Otherwise I'm not sure we would ever stop 'just in case'. My graph also had implantation dip and went triphasic this month!

It's been weird dtd when we want to rather than when a calendar dictates!

Hope everyone is doing ok. I have examined a lot of toilet bowl rims this holiday! DH left me in one toilet as you could hear me outside and he didn't want to be associated. :-(.

Glad midwife went well Chelle and good to hear about your house looking more sorted.

LastOneDancing · 30/07/2015 23:04

I agree with Mrs - wait until 12 dpo! I think I was only about 10 dpo when I got my extremely faint BFP with FRER but that was only because I had a freaky pregnancy dream and was scared into it. Much nicer to have a big, fat, pink line!

Had my booking appointment today. Meh, just boring forms and watching them fumble about with a defective ipad, but I left with a bounty bag full of guffy leaflets and a tiny tiny pot of sudocrem Grin

OP posts:
chelle792 · 31/07/2015 07:43

fatty fingers crossed for you! Star
ace sounds really promising! My major one was sensitivity to smells. If you can, wait until 12dpo. My line, I think was 12dpo but so disappointingly light. I was like lod - a crazy pregnancy dream made me test early and I got a negative. that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it Wink

Is it me or are booking in appointments a real anticlimax? I think I'm having mine on Wednesday but not sure yet. The midwife at my doc isn't available until after the 6th but I'm going to try to get in with my private lady when she does her nhs clinic

LastOneDancing · 31/07/2015 10:09

Yeah, booking apps are rubbish, very business like, as are all NHS appointments IME (and understandably so).

They did medical history, BMI and admin like contact numbers etc, I also had blood taken, had to give a urine sample and they checked my blood pressure. All being well next app will be16 weeks for exciting things like hearing the heartbeat Smile

chelle792 · 31/07/2015 11:10

Is it me or does 16 weeks seem ages away? Are you having a 12 week scan?

LastOneDancing · 31/07/2015 11:42

Yep but that's done at the hospital so next time I see the MWs will be 16 weeks. I get to go to a VBAC workshop at some point too.

Thannks mrs p

do people recommend temping, its not something ive done, nor even know anything about.

any info/hints/tips in words of one syllable or less Wink Grin

much love and luck to all those in their TWW...its like waiting for christmas when youre a kid....seems to last about 6 weeks!

slushie · 31/07/2015 15:04

Hi can I join you all?
We're ttc #3. I have 2 dd's aged 8 & 2.
I came of the pill about 10 days ago and am now on cd4.
Ttc dd1 took 3 months and it took a year with dd2.

FattyFishwife · 01/08/2015 21:20

welcome slushie, wishing you much luck on your quest for a BFP!

half way through my dreaded TWW....7 days to go, and I am gagging to pee on sticks, but know it will be pointless this early!

gah!! i hate this waiting, im terribly impatient and these TWW's feel like the T stands for thirteen!!

slushie · 03/08/2015 20:29

Thanks fishwife. I always poas too early aswell. The only time I didint ended up being the months I got my bfps with dd1 & 2.

Cd 7 now, I have ordered some opks, hoping they will be here by Friday.

MrsPCR · 03/08/2015 21:51

Fattyfish I temped because it made me feel slightly in control about something so unpredictable!

Really easy, BBT thermometer 'baby mad' for £5 on eBay/Amazon. Take temperature as soon as you wake up, kept mine under my pillow and note it down on FF. I took mine vaginally due to open mouth sleeping inconsistencies orally and a cold where I couldn't breath through nose to take temp. Also you could dose off with it and check the temp in the memory later. Also beeps could be heard mouth but not between legs so didn't disturb DH.

Days after ovulation, your temperature visibly rises and you know there is nothing left you can do that month, certain you have ovulated and done the best you could. In theory, once you have confirmed ovulation, you have no reason to have to temp as nothing else can be read from your chart for definite.

Good luck!

FattyFishwife · 04/08/2015 20:39

brilliant mrsPC thanks so very much, Ill go have a looksee for a thermometer now...any excuse for a mooch on ebay LOL

chelle792 · 07/08/2015 09:26

We are all very quiet on here lately! Welcome slushie Brew
Saw the midwife weds. My blood test was awful. I'm so bruised! She was good but my vein just closed down and the blood stopped!
When do we have testing coming up ?
Must be nearly your turn fattyfish?
