Really all of those things odog and some people get it just before AF too

ODog as I understand it looking at CM in isolation is a very inexact science! If you are doing it with temping or ov kits then you might learn to recognise the cm at certain times of month iyswim.

Nothing doing with me. Am on CD24 but typically have a 33 day cycle so have a long old wait ahead!!

It's been a week of AF cramps now and no AF. I'm feeling sad because I know I'll probably wake up and she's arrived, and also unhappy that I'm gonna be putting up with almost 2 weeks out of 4 with cramps every month! I haven't done a test for a few days. Did one at 12dpo and neg and they are meant to be really sensitive ones so I do think it's just stupid hormones from coming off pill and body gearing up for AF

DH and I are officially TTC! Yippee! We got married earlier this year after being together 7 years and very much looking forward to this next adventure for us both. We're belatedly honeymooning in October and were planning to wait until then to start 'trying' but due to a couple of late periods, the dreaded AF is due to make an appearance throughout our honeymoon (HOW ANNOYING?!) so we thought we may as well give it a go now.

Preparing myself for a long journey ahead. No reason to suspect it'll take us a while but I just have a weird feeling. Maybe I'm just trying to curb my own expectations but I'm really not wanting to get my hopes up.

Would love just to hear about all your experiences and learn more about this secretive world of TTC - I've not told people we know that we're going to start trying, just in case things don't go well for us.

Hi All just checking in. CD 15. Ov due around CD22. OPK yesterday was negative but have lots of ewcm so who knows. OH away on a bloody cricket tour

To early crunchy but I too start testing from 10dpo just because some people are known to get a faint positive the suspense is more harmful to me than a bfn!

I normally get ewcm 3 days before positive opk so 4 days before ovulation, when's hubby back banana? Keep doing your opks mid morning and early evening so you don't miss it

That's an interesting question really... Don't know if this is TMI, but every time I think about trying to conceive, I definitely get a surge of the 'horn'! Ha ha. Anyone feel like this when they first started trying and how long did it last?

Ha ha ha, Princes. Yes, it does feel a bit like being naughty. Too many sex ed lessons putting the fear of god into you as a teenager. Here was me thinking you only had to think about unprotected sex and you'd end up with a baby.

Welcome toffee. I too was very turned on by TTC first time around. I was a similar age to you when I was TTC ds and I got of first cycle so fx for you. I think I may be ovulating but I'm so tired and am already dragging myself to yoga tonight, I so don't feel like dragging DH to bed. But I know I will kick myself for missing the window if I dont.

Welcome toffee! I also got pregnant first cycle with my DS so you never know!!

Odog- maybe the yoga will energise you enough to have some zen like BD!

AF arrived today wasn't expected until saturday either!! Feeling ok about it though, I think it's because I've made a decision that Im going to finally book a doctors appointment tomorrow, not directly related to trying to conceive, as I'm only 6 cycles in (or 9 if you count Jan/Feb/March when we wern't officially trying but were having sex regularly and I wasn't on the pill) but for my periods which are really really heavy and painful and I'm sure its not right. And also to get my iron levels rechecked, as I used to be anemic and on ferrous sulphate and was getting my levels checked regularly but havent had them checked for a couple of years now after the one occasion when I went to the docs and she said "my levels are worse than yours and I'm not on anything!"This was after my previous doc had been very concerned about my iron levels being so low they apparently affected by B12 levels too.

So know I've decided that I'm feeling positive as I move onto cycle 6. I've read a few things about low iron levels affecting fertility so think its a good idea to get them checked out and see if this is something thats affecting me getting a bfp or its just the luck of the draw.

I'm 3dpo. I used to be very sure about me being pregnant this cycle but now I kinda think I can't be. Despite the fact that we dtd on the right days. Idk if it's hormones playing tricks with my mind or what but I feel very down tonight.

Raluca - sorry to hear you're feeling down. But you never know until you know so don't give up hope.

This bus has slowed down! I haven't had much to say recently. Just finished my first round of clomid.
Cd7 today and got a high on my cbfm..!!! Am wondering if clomid is giving it false positive readings. Although yesterday reading was low.

The bus has slowed down Birchy, think we had a rush on at the beginning of the month and afew familiar names testing at the end. Are you up for driving a new bus Birchy? Some people may need it soon

Seems like clomid is doing the trick, I'm not sure how it works but keep dtd every 2/3 days and your sure to catch an egg :)
