Hi girls

Just checking in. Sorry to everyone with af - such a bitch and hope you're not too fed up! I'm on cd 7 so about to start using my cb monitor - I will be testing early September I think as my cycles seem to be getting shorter!

Fx for clomid birchy!!

VioletIbiza88 · 13/08/2015 13:49

Good luck with the clomid Birchy I hope it does the trick for you!!

Doc took my blood to check if my iron is low, and gave me some tranexamic acid to reduce the heavy bleeding. She also said to come back when I've been trying for 11 months if I'm not pregnant. It's 6 months since we started "properly" trying, as in definitely dtd at least 3 times a week outside of AF and monitoring ovulation etc. The three months prior to that I wasn't really counting as I had literally just stopped the pill and was letting my periods get back to normal. Although we were still having sex during that time, just not definitely 3 x a week +. So do I wait 2 more months or 5?

Itsme247 · 13/08/2015 14:43

Violetibiza I totally get what you mean when the mindset shifts to officially trying.. However any unprotected sex should really be counted in the 'trying' phase.

I've been ttc for 12 cycles but we did the calendar method for the year and half before that, my doctor actually laughed when I told her and set the ball rolling with fertility investigations as if I had been trying for two and half years.

birchygoo · 13/08/2015 15:49

Hi Violet, I came of the pill in July and didn't start actively trying until Jan.

I worded it to my doctor as we are trying for a baby and I came of the pill last July and we are having no luck. I started tracking my cycles and showed her my charts and she was happy to start the process of investigations.

TMI Warning!

Would you expect a discharge/spotting around ovulation? My opks have been negative, but I've had (very) mild cramps this afternoon. Yesterday and today I've have a spotting/not normal discharge. My last AF was short and light, so could be an early one?

CarrotVan · 13/08/2015 20:17

It's possible to get ovulation bleeding but I don't think it's that common

weechops · 13/08/2015 20:53

Hey just checking in. Af arrived this morning. Would have been immaculate conception otherwise since dh has been gone nearly 2 months Grin so my cycles are still 29 days. Fingers crossed nothing drastic changes, and I'll be dating my pregnancy from the next af date Grin

ODog · 13/08/2015 21:40

Sorry AF arrived violet. A friend of mine is just starting her TTC journey but has been having unprotected sex for a while now as her periods were virtually non existent. Even though she wasn't officially trying, she has been given medical help straight away. She has other conditions that may affect her so not sure if that may be the main reason why but I would certainly count IT from when you first stopped taking the pill.
thisis got what I assume was ovulation bleeding while I was on the copper (non hormonal) coil. So it can happen. This is my first month ov without coil and I am pretty sure I am/have ov and no bleeding so must have been something to do with the coil.

We Dtd monday, Tuesday and today. We will probably try to again tomorrow and Sunday just to make sure but I guess I am officially in tww territory. Anyone with me?

Thisisbonkers · 13/08/2015 21:57

I guess me if I am ovulating. I'd better get on with getting laid Grin I've just not been feeling it this time round.

Spotsondots · 13/08/2015 22:24

waves at odog I'm in tww too! I think. Cd20 of 30-35(ish) day cycle. Had some funny twingy feelings in my lower abdomen today. Not convinced they are anything. Nothing much happens around this time does it? We last DTD on Tuesday but I think the egg ship had probably sailed by then. Who knows what this month holds...

pingoose · 13/08/2015 22:30

Still on the 2ww over here! Ovia says I should test in 4 days. Don't think this is the month for me somehow. I do have a lot of watery CM - not sure if this is good or bad?

Snowflake16 · 14/08/2015 07:42

I'm also in tww, cd15 and dtd sun, mon, thu. Really hoping this is our month. It's my birthday on the 31st due to test 27th, my DH asked me the other day what I wanted and I said nothing apart from a bfp.
Pingoose I had a lot of watery CM right upto AF last month, hope it's a better sign for you though.

Itsme247 · 14/08/2015 08:54

Day 9 after OV according to app and I've had another temp spike so the chart is looking 'triphasic' ... Anyone else chart like this and be pregnant?

Sorry for everyone feeling pessimistic. FX it's just your minds playing tricks

Thisisbonkers · 14/08/2015 10:23

Nope, I'm out. Yesterday's spotting was a precursor for AF arriving this morning in grand style Sad only 20 days since the last one. What the actual?

Looking on the bright side, less time to wait for cycle 10.

CarrotVan · 14/08/2015 11:10

That sucks bonkers - 20 days seems very short

ODog · 14/08/2015 11:11

Sorry thisis. 10 seems like a good number flr a BFPs though!

Thisisbonkers · 14/08/2015 11:29

I'm being posted some clearblue opks which I believe is FMU? That's got to be easier than trying to second guess when during the day I'm meant to be peeing on the cheapies.

I'm obsessing - need to get over myself Grin

Banana79 · 14/08/2015 11:45

Is that right thisis? I have the cbdigi opks and I am testing around 5-6pm. FMU would be MUCH easier!

Thisisbonkers · 14/08/2015 13:14

I believe so, maybe I'm wrong Confused I'd better check!

KittyandTeal · 14/08/2015 13:23

The duel hormone clear blue digis are def fmu. I think it's to catch the oestrogen (?)

MrsNuckyThompson · 14/08/2015 16:18

The normal digi CB are any time provided you've not been for 4 hours and they definitely suggest first thing in the am.

CB advanced FM definitely asks for FMU.

KittyandTeal · 14/08/2015 16:54

I've just bought myself some pregnacare vitamins. I'm sure a change won't make a difference but it feels like I'm doing something.

I also ordered some cheapy tests Blush after saying I wouldn't get into the testing lots!

ODog · 14/08/2015 19:18

Obviously I will ask at docs when I call but does anyone know if you can have a smear if you might be pregnant. Got a letter today and not sure whether or not I should have it if I could be pregnant?
