Crunchyhips AF is due for me on either 12th or 13th, depending on which cycle my body decides to have, trying to hold of testing until at least Monday, but doubt I'll last that long. I have 15 ultra early tests just sitting in my bathroom cupboard...

ODog · 04/08/2015 13:14

waiting for AF to bugger off is so frustrating. I didn't have this last time as decided to TTC just after AF left and concieved first cycle. Big empathy for you ladies several cycles down the road. I'm way too impatient for this!

IrisPurple · 04/08/2015 13:22

Just caught up on the last 6 pages over my lunch break!

Lily I'm really pleased that you received good news about your painkillers.

On the topic of sore boobs - I'm only 2 cycles in but my boobs were really heavy for about 10 days leading up to AF. Seems to be an AF thing for me, even though I never had this before.

Really pleased to read about the zip wires and half marathons! We've booked to camp over 2 nights for the Ludlow Food Festival. Originally didn't want to go in case I got pg and would be too tired / sick, but I'm really excited and so relieved we got in at the campsite.

To all of you worrying about your OH bring away during the fertile window - 2 people very close to me conceived just after their period when they were unable to have regular sex. So don't lose hope! Flowers

Jellybean100 · 04/08/2015 14:18

Iris my boobs are the same. 10 days before AF and I get super sensitive/sore nipples which I never had before being on pill. I got quite excited over this new symptom last month but this month I see it as a sign AF is definitely on her way Sad

3Princes99 · 04/08/2015 15:04

Bit Nippy out there today so came home early from the park and did another test....why am I doing this to myself Hmm

Madre afew people have seen your posts posing as a pregnant 17 year old. Do you want the chance to explain what's happening?

PallasCat · 04/08/2015 16:18

madre I have to agree with princes. If you look over the last few pages you will see we have been quite concerned as to what was going on.

carrot thinking of you - what a stressful time this must be. Sorry to hear the communication by phone is limited. I hope the care at hospital is good?

Vikki - hope you had a great time at the hen! Back in at the deep end if that's your first post-baby outing!

weechops · 04/08/2015 16:32

princes hopefully just too early today. And I usually poas like a maniac too, I get it!

carrot I'm so sorry your mums not well. Sending positive thoughts that she rally's soon

madre I really think if you want to receive support and participate in these threads, then you should at least offer some sort of explanation. We're a pretty supportive/forgiving bunch!

My day consisted of getting the last few bits of school wear for big two chops. Not evil mum - we're in Scotland so they go back next week Grin

CarrotVan · 04/08/2015 17:12

My mum is hopefully coming home tomorrow. Her nurses have been wonderful, her doctors hit and miss. It looks like her epilepsy is back after being 5 years without any seizures but she's now having weird seizures.

Deep breath. And relax...

daisylassy · 04/08/2015 17:19

Aww so pleased you have some answers carrot and she's heading home... A treat is in order for you x

PallasCat · 04/08/2015 17:29

So glad she's coming home Carrot, and that they have identified the cause, even though of course the cause is not good news. But better than a mystery (well that's how I'd feel).

Emu123 · 04/08/2015 17:44

Good news Carrot. Hopefully a bit of a relief to get some answers xx

Snowflake16 · 04/08/2015 18:25

Glad to hear you have some answers Carrot and your mum will be out of hospital soon.
You and DH should try and find a few hours and do something fun and relaxing together. You deserve it Flowers

KittyandTeal · 04/08/2015 19:24

Oh carrot what good news (that she's coming home, not the epilepsy).

CarrotVan · 04/08/2015 19:28

Thanks everyone. It has helped taken my mind off ttc though.

3Princes99 · 04/08/2015 19:56

Happy for you and your mum carrot!
Hope they manage to get her seizures under control
Still no symptoms what so ever here but I just feel pregnant if you know what I mean

Sizzle81 · 04/08/2015 20:28

Glad to here your mum is returning home Carrot!! xx

RalucaMorena · 04/08/2015 21:43

Dear all,
today has been a hectic day! We've been house hunting with my parents and had no time to even poas for opk!
Apart from that we have started the bding plan and had a nice session yesterday so hoping this month goes well and will be lucky!
I'm knackered!

KittyandTeal · 05/08/2015 08:22

I finally got a solid smilie today. 2 days late!

I did some reading last night and it seems lots of women have a bit of a messed up cycle after a cp, just another bit if evidence to suggest that's what last month was. Rubbish.

Poor DH is between night shifts so I'll have to wake him when dd1 goes down for her nap this afternoon!

pingoose · 05/08/2015 08:28

Yay kitty, I also got a positive OPK today! On CD18, sure took its time. Not telling DH, as I get the sense he wants to keep the process "spontaneous"...little does he know!

CarrotVan · 05/08/2015 09:14

Looking at the stats it seems as though we've got a really steady month of testing.

KittyandTeal · 05/08/2015 10:54

I know it sounds strange but I think my dh likes the 'right, we're having sex later' aspect Grin That may change as the months go on.

I'm now trying to work out when my new testing date will be. I usually ovulate day 12. I'm now positive opk today so I'll ovulate today or tmrw (day 14 or 15) I think my luctal phase is 14 days, well it was last month although I was a day late. Argh. I think I may just wait until af turns up (not much hope for this month)

KittyandTeal · 05/08/2015 10:58

Ok a tmi question; I think I may have thrush (first time in years) I'm just a bit sore and throbbing, no itching (yet). I'm going to pop up to the pharmacy later. Will thrush or canesten affect my ability to conceive this cycle?

I've been using pre-seed, it could also be a reaction to that but I don't think it is.

Any ideas?

Madredear · 05/08/2015 10:59

Carrot, really pleased for you that you have some answers hun.

Kitty, don't we test around the same time? Im due to test on the 20th.

I usually ovulate bang on day 15/16, and did the deed last night. Trouble is, CD14 is the only fertile time I'd have had sex this window because OH is going fishing every night after work this week, and won't be home at all!

Madredear · 05/08/2015 11:01

Kitty, Sounds like mild thrush to me hun. None of those products should effect your ability to conceive though Grin

Perhaps it's possible you may've had a little reaction to some new soap or something if there's no itch?

RalucaMorena · 05/08/2015 11:01

Kitty this is what I found re your tmi question
