Kitty, I would be careful if you have thrush that you will probably pass it on to DH. Whether that's a risk u want to take or not is up to u Blush but make sure you have enough canesten to treat u both just in case otherwise you'll end up reinfecting eachother

KittyandTeal · 05/08/2015 11:39

That's a very good point jelly. Balls.

I've had a chat to the pharmacist and got pessaries but should probably get some topical cream too. I'll chat to DH and see if he fancies risking it. Tbh if he's going to get it he'd have it by now, I've been like this for a few days, it started after last dtd so he may have it already. I'll ask him.

What a pain in the arse. Bollocks.

CarrotVan · 05/08/2015 11:45

Bugger - apparently my Mum is now not coming out today after an unexpected blood test result. Poor Mum.

In other news I am 9dpo and due to test at 12dpo. Will I test early? Probably

Sorry you're sore Kitty. I'm assuming you've ruled out "enthusiastic ttc"...

PallasCat · 05/08/2015 11:56

Sorry to hear it carrot.

Kitty hope the meds do the job soon!

KittyandTeal · 05/08/2015 12:28

Oh and thank you for the link raluca.

I chatted to the pharmacist and she said the same. She also said not to take the tablets just in case. Long term use can lead to congenital abnormalities so I thought, especially with my history, in the very early stages if I do conceive then it would be best not to take it.

KittyandTeal · 05/08/2015 12:31

Oh carrot how annoying. Hope she gets out soon.

At first I did think it was possibly a little bit of friction burn Grin but it's gone on for a couple if days now so I'm thinking thrush.

Last time a had it it was my first eay pregnancy symptom! Good thing I've not ovulated yet or this would be the mother of all symptom spots!

MrsNuckyThompson · 05/08/2015 13:32

Popping again today after a few days away. Haven't been able to read through all the bits I've missed yet.

Kitty - tbh, I'd probably have kept going through the thrush as well rather than miss the opportunity. Obviously just be mindful of what you take if you could be pg though!

Carrot - sorry about your mum. She must be desperately disappointed if she thought she was coming home today. FX'd for tomorrow!

Quick question from me: this is my first month using CBFM. Had 5 high readings and am now on my second peak day. We dtd on the first high day and two subsequent ones, then coincidentally the night before the first peak and then also the night before the second peak day (which is today). DH supposed to be out tonight. I reckon since we dtd last night and the night before, this is probably going to be ok. Or would you stay up late to dtd tonight and / or set the alarm for 5.30 tomorrow to dtd before the toddler wakes up?! To be honest I'm tired and a bit over dtd again in such a short period of time, but equally don't want to miss a prime day!

KittyandTeal · 05/08/2015 13:42

Well after my confident earlier post dh couldn't perform. He's knackered and not well. Boo.

He's off tmrw so I'm hoping that we can dtd tmrw eve. Please tell me that'll be ok?

KittyandTeal · 05/08/2015 13:43

Nuckty I think you're fine Grin you've hit all the right times.

CarrotVan · 05/08/2015 14:20

Should I test at 10 dpo tomorrow? I have FRER, Superdrug or ICs to test with...

MrsNuckyThompson · 05/08/2015 15:22

Kitty - thank god you said that! Just don't have the strength (isn't that awful!!).

Carrot - I'd do a FR if I were you!

PallasCat · 05/08/2015 16:19

Yeah Nucky sounds to me like you've given it a very good shot too.

Carrot I second Nucky - FR.

CD19. Losing my mind and all sense of reality symptom spotting. Feeling the very faintest twinges in uterus region but given I'm constantly concentrating on it, that's hardly surprising. Honestly it's like my brain's taken up camp down there. Holding out until Friday am to do a FR.

Someone please tell me to get a grip.

KittyandTeal · 05/08/2015 16:21

I'm not surprised you don't have the strength nucky :)

Carrot do a frer. Or leave it (says the woman that actually debated poas today, before I've even ovulated!)

CarrotVan · 05/08/2015 16:30

I feel quite bloated but no other symptoms.

pallas how many dpo are you? I could hold out until Friday if you want a buddy

CarrotVan · 05/08/2015 16:30

PallasCat · 05/08/2015 16:38

Hard to say - I'm not temping or using OPKs. Previous 2 cycles I'm sure I ov'd on cd10 - if it's the same again I'm 9dpo now, but think I may have been a few days later this time.

Would love a test buddy but I'm unlikely to be able to get online after tomorrow afternoon until... probably Monday at the earliest. Which will make me a rubbish test partner! Otherwise I'd say yes please!

Emu123 · 05/08/2015 17:03

I'm 9 dpo too and despite promising not to symptom spot I do have sore boobs and a bit nausea although that's more likely because I've been stuffing myself on hotel meals for the last few days as been away for work!

Pallas - your comments made me laugh.

What are we like ladies?!

Madredear · 05/08/2015 18:04

Hi all, quick question!

I usually ovulate bang on CD 15/16. Yesterday was CD14 and I did the baby dance.

Unfortunately, OH is away fishing until Friday all day after work so I won't be seeing him home until Friday evening. Should that be okay? I've only had sex once this whole fertile period and will either ovulate this evening or tomorrow (will take opt tonight at 8).

Really upset as was hoping I was in with a good chance this month Confused

PallasCat · 05/08/2015 18:28

Right in order to shut my stupid brain up I did an IC. BFN but I wasn't expecting otherwise. Anyway there we go. Fine with it as it's surely too early for IC to show anything, just had to do SOMETHING.

Neurosis 1 - 0 self-control.

birchygoo · 05/08/2015 19:12

hey all just catching up. Pallas you are just to early hopefully!

madre - were you not 17 and pregnant already on another post?

my temp dropped again today - still above cover line but I fully expect af to come visit tonight.

oh well the bright side is you always get to try again the next month!

weechops · 05/08/2015 19:52

madre I'm just going to come right out and say it - just piss off back to your little fantasy world. Perhaps in aibu where you've (again) created another identity, and actually replied to yourself! i know we shouldn't feed the troll, but jeez! everywhere I look there you are spouting shite! Ive reported you before and i will again.

weechops · 05/08/2015 19:56

pallas probably too early still

birchy keep thinking positive!

carrot definitely with frer tomorrow

RalucaMorena · 05/08/2015 20:06

Chops* what are you talking about? What happened??? Shock

Jellybean100 · 05/08/2015 20:57

I'm also 10dpo tomorrow carrot. I don't have a FR tho so not going to test. I had a dizzy episode today and had to sit down and someone in work said "you're not pregnant are you" Hmm have had AF type cramps today... Dammit!

MrsNuckyThompson · 05/08/2015 21:08

Exciting that people are testing Friday!!

Jelly - cramps can definitely be a sign of pg as much as af so don't despair just yet.

Urgh. Hate the fact that I'm now in tww territory!!
