aghh I'm really torn dh says leave it for a few days and then we will know. I can see his wee face getting excited and I'm starting to let myself think it as well.

if I don't have one I can't test can I! so will see what temp is like tomorrow - it could just be my body having mind games with me AGAIN!

Oh Birchy..no practical advice as I don't really understand temping but everything crossed and good luck holding out for the test!

I am just catching up on the thread and I am so shocked about our split-personality poster...how very ODD! I don't understand why anyone would do that. What would you really GAIN from pretending to be someone else??

Hi been on a hen night first time out properly since dc1 born. So all systems go properly now.

Grrrr I'm now on day 5 of stupid flashing smilies. Should have ovulated yesterday.

I've had a temp fall today, it's the lowest on my crazy up and down chart so far.

Would lots if flashing smilies but no static suggest I'm not going to ovulate?

I've had 7 flashing before a positive! Stay patient. What CD are u on??

Not sure why but feeling super emotional this morning and had a good bulb earlier! Need to pull it together. This ttc is really shite sometimes!

I'm cd13 of 25/26. I normally ovulate cd11/12.

I guess if I finally do get a positive it will mean a longer cycle. Boo.

I know what you mean emu, I feel really emotional about it all sometimes. I often wonder if it's worth the bother or I should start just being happy with what I have.

I find the cb monitor picked up the end of my surge ie I'd get my temp rise the v next morning so I guess just keep BD-ing. I think it's because you test in the morning and I think the surge tends to start in the afternoon.... I am speculating though!

Sometimes it all just gets too much - and if one more person tells me to relax I will scream or probably cry given how I am feeling today!

I have a banging headache, not enough sleep, my mum is still in hospital, and I'm 8dpo with no symptoms.

Yes possibly still to early I'm 11/12dpo but have no symptoms what so ever for AF. I do remember not having any symptoms with my other pregnancies so fx it's a good sign!

How's your mum doing? is she getting any better? Try and get some rest today, it's sounds as tho you need it x

Carrot I hope you are feeling a bit better, headaches are awful. Is you mum feeling any better?

princes hopefully you are just to early and the no symptoms are a good sign.

lily im really annoyed with my temps this morning. I think I was so anxious to take it that I woke up an hour and a half early. So I had to take it at that time. My temp was down - but could this be due to having to take my temp early?...?

I got up used the bathroom then went back to sleep for an hour and a half and just took my temp again to see and it is back up (slightly above) where it was yesterday. but this is is prob due to short amount of sleep.

So overall who knows what my temp is doing - most likely it has went down slightly - I will take a photo on my phone and upload it for you all to see.

It has disheartened me to testing though - so guess I will just hold on until AF or if not come by Thur morning I will test then

The second graph shows the overlay of my last 3 months. On first graph Today's temp is an open circle as it was taken much earlier than normal. It is showing first wee dip that has happened other cycles so I suspect I will have a massive dip tomorrow

Birchy I think the trouble is you can't tell from one temp. It could well be that you tested too early or it could be start of af. Last month mine dropped loads over 3 days, then there was a rise over 2 days and it didn't drop til day after af came!! Try not to panic yet. It's still well above the coverline which is the important bit

Crunchyhips We missed our optimum dtd times too, I'm hoping that DH's swimmers managed to stay around for the 4 or 5 days, completely irrationally, I didn't have a bath (though did shower so as not to stink) until after OV, just in case it flushed them out. I do know that we are designed so that doesn't happen, but wasn't risking it!

Birchy hopefully it was just the change in time and AF stays firmly away from you

We still don't know about my mum. I'd love to get a decent rest today but I have the plumber coming and then an hour each way to the hospital because they won't give any useful information over the phone
