Support, shoulders to cry on, virtual gin and the best cheer leaders MN can offer you. We've been there and it's awful but we'll help each other through to better times.

Making sure I book early scan for 7weeks (the day before we go away) and no earlier, so we have the best chance of seeing hb, don't want to go any earlier and see nothing, then spend days-on-end in limbo re-living the process of mmc/pregnancy no.1

Reebok · 01/09/2015 21:48

I had period cramps until sometime last week. Still having the occasional twinge. Had some beige-ish discharge today so little worried! Keep googling and other women have experienced it so fx it's nothing. Being very sick now. Can't eat/drink...trapped wind/nausea and vomiting too. Feel like crap!! Hopefully it means bean is sticking!
Glad that you're being looked after paws! Fx for a sticky bean!

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 01/09/2015 21:58

Aw bless you, i hope you feel better soon, but the symptoms are reassuring aren't they, hopefully it means your wee bean is a strong sticky one and is letting you know so! Wink
They're not so much period pains...more stabbs in uterus, don't remember having this pain before? Only when mc'ing did I have this type of discomfort...fc its just my little bean making a new home, don't think I would handle a 3rd mc in 7 months! Are you going to go to doctors and ask for reassurance scan? You must be about 6-7 weeks now? Hb would be there by now most likely X

Reebok · 02/09/2015 10:45

Unfortunately symptoms mean nothing to me. I've mc before with severe sickness to the point I had to be put on a drip in hospital. Had had those stabbing pains down below too. Apparently called 'fanny daggers' and are normal. Got gp app today and I'm dreading it. Doubt will be sent for a scan. Gp is rubbish!

How is everyone else getting on?

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 02/09/2015 13:31

I know what fanny daggers are, I had them for three days around implantation this time round, I have stabbing pains in actual uterus,....fanny daggers are more like a bolt of lightening shooting up through the vagina and cervix...horrible! Only last about half a second, but stop you in your tracks!
I hope gp goes ok today,...why don't you ask to be referred to gyne at your hospital, they cant 'not' refer you if you specifically ask. And the gyne department will be able to do more for you in terms of monitoring the pregnancy, checking hormone levels, blood tests, early scan etc...?

coco808 · 02/09/2015 21:55

sorry to hear about all the worries reebok and paws
i've got my fingers crossed for sticky beans

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 03/09/2015 08:53

Well the bleeding's started again...

CarrotVan · 03/09/2015 09:08

Paws I saw this on the pregnant after MC thread. I'm so sorry you're having this worry. Can you get to an EPU and rest up until then?

I'm going to a&e and demand progesterone levels checked! Hcg rising rapidly as my lines are getting darker, so I don't think there's anything wrong with the baby, I'm almost certain it's low progesterone. Docs referred me to hospital gyne, phoned hospital and they said it's my gp that does it! Phoned gp and they said, nope, its the hospital!!!
So fed up with waiting for someone to pull their finger out, just going to hospital, they've left it so long to check my levels, now I'm f***g bleeding yet again!
Want to scream at them!

Emu123 · 03/09/2015 11:55

Sorry to hear you're going through this paws - must be very worrying for you but hope a and e are able to help. Let us know how you get on

Emu123 · 03/09/2015 11:57

Well my period is late but pretty sure I'm out. Had a tiny bit of spotting yesterday morning and then nothing so of course my hopes were raised.... More spotting today though - feel so frustrated with myself for getting my hopes up yet again!

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 03/09/2015 16:28

Bloods look ok for now, have to go back to hospital Saturday to have more taken to make sure levels are increasing...

Progesterone was 96 (anything as low as 20 they said they would have been happy with)
Hcg was 300 (4 weeks gestation average range is 5-426)

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 03/09/2015 16:30

emu sorry you're out this month, there's nothing worse than false hope...fx for next month x

Emu123 · 04/09/2015 16:41

How's everyone getting on?

I'm still spotting v lightly (only when I wipe and nothing on a pad) and am definitely late now but haven't tested as would rather not know if it's a chemical which I suspect it might be :(

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 04/09/2015 17:02

emu you never know! Keeping my fingers crossed its just plain old pregnancy spotting, and not oncoming af or chemical! Don't know how you hold off not testing, I would have to know either way, would drive me crazy Confused

My bleeding has stopped which is good news so far!!! Other than super tired, constant sneezing and upset stomach, I'm feeling ok Smile

Let us know if you decide to test won't you Xx

Emu123 · 04/09/2015 17:18

Ah thanks paws. I thought I'd be going crazy testing too - if AF doesn't kick in properly over the weekend I'll buy some tests on Sat and let you know.

Great news that your bleeding has stopped - make sure you keep us updated as to how things progress x

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 04/09/2015 22:10

Will do, you keep us updated too Wink x

TailorMouse · 04/09/2015 23:24

paws that is such encouraging news! And a good sign you have strong symptoms.

emu I've been through exactly what you're experiencing this week except AF turned up today Sad Fingers very much crossed you have a different ending.

This is such a difficult time and I have to admit i'm not coping well - think i'm going to try one more cycle then leave it for a while, don't think I would be able to handle trying and nothing happening when both sil's are getting to the end of pregnancies when I would have been.

Everything was so perfect a few months ago and it's all falling apart now.

Wish there was just some way to know for sure if the mc was just a one off or if it will never happen for us. Ahhh if only I had a crystal ball!

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 05/09/2015 09:55

tailor sorry you're struggling, its not nice to have to keep going through the tww and having af show up every time after all your hard effort ttc...

I went to the doctors when I felt like I was falling apart, I've got an appointment to see someone who can help coming up soon....even though I'm pg, I'm going to keep the appointment, as I think it might help me deal with the new anxiety in feeling now! Perhaps your doc may be able to refer you if you felt it's something that might help? I can't credit the psychotherapy I've previously had enough, they are trained professionals who are very good at listening and give you the tools to help yourself pull through...

Or as you said, perhaps just a break from ttc might help? Xx

Emu123 · 05/09/2015 14:15

tailor hope you're OK. Tww is a nightmare! No matter how many times I tell myself to "relax" and not get my hopes up, I seem to go bat shit crazy in the last few days.

My period started heavy and painfully last night - oh the joy!

TailorMouse · 05/09/2015 17:43

emu I know what you mean - I knew it hadn't stuck (few days of pregnancy symptoms then exactly the same symptoms as mc) but still got excited when AF was late.

It's just horrible when you don't know what caused it and why, which adds to extra pressure to conceive again.

At least I know it's not happened this cycle though so can calm down from the not knowing.

CarrotVan · 07/09/2015 11:01

Just bumping this up for those who need it

Hope you're feeling better tailormouse

Hey ladies, not a particularly nice topic but for those of you that have had chemical pregnancies, would u mind sharing your symptoms? I didn't test even though I was 4 days late and then I started spotting. I had a v painful and heavy flow on Saturday and Sunday but now v light which is unusual for me as I'm usually pretty heavy for 5 days.....

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 07/09/2015 21:24

emu this wasn't a wtf cycle was it?

Sounds odd, if it was a wtf cycle then that sounds pretty normal, but if not then I'm sorry to say it may be a chemical....

I had an early loss at 4&3 in July, and some may class it as chemical as it happened only a few days after I was due on, started spotting the day before I 'was' due on, bleeding increased gradually, then I had one day of heavy and painful with tiny clots and a tiny sac that was passed just a few days 'after' period was due.

I didn't class it as chemical, as I passed a sac which probably included the foetal pole Sad

Sorry to hear you suspect chemical, perhaps it's a good thing that you didn't get a +hpt to begin with, the hope of a bfp followed by spotting and heavy painful bleeding is not fair....
I hope you get your bfp and healthy bean next cycle, hugs to you xxx

CarrotVan · 08/09/2015 07:52

I MC at 5 wks in July, having had positive tests that didn't get darker over the week. When I started bleeding it was just like a normal period - mine are heavy anyway - but was a bit stop-start. I didn't get it recorded at the EPU or GP which I probably should have done as now they won't count it as a MC for further tests if anything goes wrong this time.

Hope you're feeling ok, emu
