Support, shoulders to cry on, virtual gin and the best cheer leaders MN can offer you. We've been there and it's awful but we'll help each other through to better times.

Yes paws I remember you. I'm so sorry to hear you have had another mc! And that you have been ill.. I hope your resting lots! I had glandular fever when I was in my teens was horrendous..

I'm not going to lie and say I'm not nervous.. Something just feels different this time. But I am going to be booking an early scan for when I'm around 7 weeks I think. I wasn't ready before now to try again xx

Mummyofonesofar · 26/07/2015 22:01

Megan I am feeling positive too. I actually 'felt' pregnant before I tested this time and feel like things are happening inside which has to be good. 4 weeks today going by LMP.

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 27/07/2015 01:06

Thanks Megan I've had nothing but rest over the last few months, life just seems to be one never ending waiting game.
I'm so pleased for the both of you, honestly....xxx

I have a question about progesterone and hcg? So after both my mc's, one mmc, one mc. Tested the day after each time and bfn.....that quickly!!! Is this normal, could the reason for the mc's be that my body decides to just stop producing progesterone, thus not further supporting the pregnancy's devellopment, resulting in miscarriage and immediate bfn?
If the pregnancy's were failing from the start and hormones (both prgst & hcg) were dropping soon after bfp, could this explain the super quick bfn?

Been researching progesterone supplements, they wouldn't do any harm if they were used and not needed, but doubt my doc would give them to me, what should I do, as if its a hormone deficiency then you need to be on the supplements 'straigt after' ovulation, not a couple of weeks into pregnancy when the doctors have finally pulled their fingers out and its too late.....AHHHHHHH!

seriously, this ttc shit is doing my nut in now. Just want to cry and scream!

Sorry for rant Sad

Cycle 6 begins. .. hopefully I get a sticky little bean this time!

AtAt · 27/07/2015 22:20

So 5 days late, then AF arrived Saturday morning. However, instead of lasting 3-4 days, it was finished by this morning. Could this mean anything, or just my cycle going a bit odd this month? TIA

RalucaMorena · 27/07/2015 23:45

Was your period abundant or just light? Could it have been implantation?

AtAt · 28/07/2015 06:30

Morning Raluca, it seemed to be a normal period, just very short! I did a test on Friday, and it was a bfn. Should I test in a couple of days time, or wait till AF is due again? Thanks for all the advice Smile

RalucaMorena · 28/07/2015 12:38

If you think it was period I see no point in testing. You could just to be sure. Also, I suggest you temp. If you ovulate it will happen in about 14 days since first day of period and then you know what's what.

AtAt · 28/07/2015 13:24

Thank you. I'm a bit new to this, what do you mean by temp ?

RalucaMorena · 28/07/2015 17:12

Keeping a record of your basal temperature every day. That is the temperature of your body when you wake up before you get up from the bed. The way it changes through the month will tell you when you ovulated and gives you a better idea of your fertile period of the month

AtAt · 28/07/2015 17:41

Ah, thank you, I'll look into it Grin

RalucaMorena · 29/07/2015 10:22

Good luck! Smile

Mummyofonesofar · 29/07/2015 22:08

So today was the day AF was due and it has passed without a spot. I may ring the midwife tomorrow and get a 8 week app in the diary to work towards! Going to do another IC in the morning to check line is getting darker, will be 13dpo then. I stopped temping as soon as I got my bfp as I didn't want to stress too much. Getting lots of pains though, some very sharp and take my breath away - hoping it is just deep implantation or wind!

good luck for those starting the tww xx

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 29/07/2015 22:16

Good news mummy! Pains are just stretching of womb and ligaments etc, or as you said, deeper implantation...
I don't know anyone on here now, and feel a little lost, everyone I knew has had their bfp's and moved on...feeling a bit sad as I had my bfp too and lost it again :(
Going to test on weekend, fc I get another bfp, but not convinced as its my wtf cycle AGAIN!
Please pop over from time to time, and keep in touch...best of luck with everything hun xxx

Mummyofonesofar · 29/07/2015 22:25

Oh no paws I want to see you get another bfp so will be around anyway.

I recommend the bumsnet bus, a few of us there have had mcs. It's a great support hun. I'm too worried to move on really. Will be happy if I can get a 8 week scan before we go on holiday and get the a ok.

Adventuregame · 30/07/2015 08:15

Paws you know me !!! I'm not properly trying yet but should be hoping for that BFP by the end of the year I guess ? Gulp !!!

Tftpoo · 30/07/2015 08:35

I haven't posted here for a while but I thought I'd see how everyone is doing. Special hello to paws, thinking of you going through the wtf cycle again. You and adventure gave me so much support on here, I just wanted to wish you all the best for speedy and sticky bfps. And everyone else here of course xx

Sakura03 · 30/07/2015 08:50

paws I'm still here although I realise that I havent "known you" that long. Hope you're okay under the circumstances. I'm trying to figure out what cd I'm on. I expected af last Thursday but started spotting on the Monday this carried on and by Wednesday night it had turned into a light flow. Thursday spotting Friday light flow Saturday afternoon heavy flow, Sunday light flow, Monday and Tuesday spotting. I normally have af for 3 days so I'm really confused as to what's been going on. I'm tempted to start using opks tomorrow as I don't want to miss ov but I also normally get loads of ewcm so could wait until it appearsConfused monkey are you still around? Hope you're okay.
Hope the rest of you are okay too of course!

Mummyofonesofar · 30/07/2015 09:05

Sakura that's confusing! Maybe use the books just in case. You don't want to miss ov.

Just booked my first mw app for 24th. Begging for an 8 week scan. The epu said last time that they could scan me. And as I fly to Bulgaria on 27th I really want to know everything is ok. But they said no Sad she said to try and see if my GP will refer me but I doubt they would either.

Adventuregame · 30/07/2015 09:12

Tftpoo how are you getting on ? I still see you when I lurk on the pregnant after mc thread. I just have a catch up on there every now and again to see how graduates from here are getting on and to read some happy stories !!!

CarrotVan · 30/07/2015 09:21

Sorry you're feeling blue paws. Where are you up to in your autoimmune tests? Are they referring you to a specialist?

Congratulations megan that's great news.

Mummy that's annoying that they won't scan you at the EPU. Cry on your GP and hope that triggers a referral? I remember getting lots of sharp stabby pains in the early days with ds and it was all fine.

Sak - if you discount the spotting that's sort a 3 day af...I normally start with the opks around day 9-10 but my af is a week usually so that's only a couple of days after it ends.

And sorry everyone that I've been quiet - so very busy at work that I barely have time to breathe. I'm in the tww, due to test on the 8th according to FF. I'm in a weird headspace as I've just found out that the wife of dh's friend has had a mc at 9wks. I was so jealous when we heard she was pregnant (I was in the middle of a cp) and now I feel like a cow.

Mummy just call the gp and tell him/herr you have pain on one side and they will most probably arrange an early scan. It worked for me! it will probably be for 6w as they don't see much before but still, you will know before you leave. Oh! I miss Bulgaria! Used to go there during summer at Golden Sands! Smile

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 30/07/2015 11:04

Oh bugger! Sorry guys, I completely forgot about some of the names I hadn't seen for a while...Blush

mummy if you told your doctor a little white lie, you could say that you have had some spotting / light bleeding? I know its naughty, but it may just get you a referral for the scan you want?

adventure hi, hope you're doing ok? Thank you for popping by and reminding me you're around, I hope you get a bfp soon....you may just get one by surprise Wink

tft hi! How are you getting on?

sakura don't be silly, we 'have' known each other for a fair few weeks...my brain is just a bit like a sieve atm! I would count cd1 as the 'first day of full flow', even if the flow is light...

carrot hello to you too! I'm plodding along I spose...haven't actually 'had' the blood tests yet, they have been delayed due to glandular fever as the virus messes a lot with immune system and cell counts etc, seeing doctor Monday to ask when I should book in to have them! No referrals yet, don't think they will do that unless you have had 3 mcs... Thanks for the link, I'll have a gander!

Again, I'm so sorry to all of you guys for saying I knew nobody here, my brain is just crap atm, and I've only really been seeing names that are fairly new!
Haven't seen fruit for a while, or mama
Hope they're both doing ok...

CarrotVan · 30/07/2015 11:09

I was wondering if they might refer you to an auto-immune specialist paws. Hope it goes ok on Monday
