That's such a good response you got there southy. I would definitely phone daily or every other day and hopefully they will have had a cancellation.

I have a telephone consultation with my GP on Monday following my private consultation. I have a feeling we won't be referred for NHS help as the consultant didn't think my endo and low progesterone is a problem so recommended IVF which won't be available to us on the NHS. This doesn't bother me but we really need to think ahead now as we're on cycle 15 now and I'm bored with ttc.

Southy84 · 23/07/2015 22:04

I was really pleased merry I said I didn't want to sound obsessed and she said no not at all- we'd rather book up any cancellations so feel free to phone as often as you like! Apparently they get cancellations over the summer holidays so will probably try every other day. Fx for your app Monday, did your consultant say what the waiting list is like for ivf if you choose to take that route? Totally get the bored ttc feeling! Talking about ttc ... Look at the time Wink

DizzyMerry · 23/07/2015 22:28

There are no waiting lists with the clinic we've already been to southy. We can get things moving when we decide it's the route we want to take but I'm just undecided as I think a fertility MOT is the way to go to rule out blocked tubes or other issues. Have fun Wink

Mummyofonesofar · 24/07/2015 10:01

Morning everyone!! Have a great day Smile

Southy84 · 24/07/2015 10:54

I'd want to do the same merry but at least if you choose to go take that route you know the waiting time isn't long which is really good. I may have phoned the clinic again this morning... Now the earliest app is jan!! Lucky I got referred when I did, worried about next steps though if waiting times are like this I could be in for a long wait for further investigations.

Southy84 · 24/07/2015 10:56

Morning mummy Smile you too x

DizzyMerry · 24/07/2015 11:19

Just keep trying southy. After the first appointment things should start moving quickly and hopefully you won't be waiting too long between appointments. Fx you get your bfp before all that though.

Enjoy your holidays mummy.

MsGlitterJunkie · 24/07/2015 11:48

Morning everyone! Miss v glad to hear the scan went well Smile

Southy & Dizzy me too, I am bored bored bored bored with ttc. It is good fun some months and some months I'm like oh for goodness sake, not again, sigh.

SO impatient to get seen at the fertility clinic - the good thing is I don't have to ring up, I can check online which is handy while at work. I'm actually checking every day for cancellations - me, obsessed? Never! Wink

Am very intrigued to see what tests they will do, I've got to go in for day 3 and day 21 blood tests at my GP surgery and they will send the results directly to the hospital ahead of my appointment, I also want them to look at my tubes.

But yes, they key is to keep trying inbetween, sigh, .....fingers and toes crossed we all get our BFPs beforehand!!

Mummyofonesofar · 24/07/2015 12:22

Thanks DizzyM Grin as I am in this country I will continue to pop in but may miss STATS

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 24/07/2015 13:19

dizzy sorry I don't understand? They want you to go for IVF without first checking the plumbing? Or have a misunderstood something? Because that seems weird. Hmm

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 24/07/2015 13:22

All you people with your finding-out issues. Grin
There are so few true surprises in the world. So few true surprises too that you can't do anything about anyway. And it is such an age-old type of surprise as well.
ponders on whether sperm x or y made it to the egg this go

MissMartin10 · 24/07/2015 13:41

MissMartin10 · 24/07/2015 13:43

dizzy a fertility MOT sounds like a great idea!! Smile

RalucaMorena · 24/07/2015 14:59

13/14dpo and no af yet! Yey! Was concerned about temp drop 2 days in a row but not today. Still above ov line.
No symptoms so hopefully af comes on time so to have a good timing with dh for bding in August. Blush

DizzyMerry · 24/07/2015 16:59

Yes auf straight into IVF which is mind boggling as it could be a minor issue such as blocked tube or something. The consultant was fixated on the poor morphology issue so he didn't think my endo or low prog is an issue!

wish1406 · 25/07/2015 08:30

I feel your pain miss I've not taken many sick days yet which is silly really but I'm wondering if it's gona get worse? So might need to save them?! I'm now on chlorpromazine and omeprazole. I too wanted to avoid medication but the doc said if it helps me to be able to eat and drink and nourish the baby then it's gotta be worth it. Plus I'm only going to take the chlorpromazine on days when I'm working...

MissMartin10 · 25/07/2015 11:55

i know thats how im looking at it now.. but im not allowed to take my tablets on the days i drive Hmm which would be the days i go to work. .. strange lol

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 25/07/2015 12:36

dizzy is it not an issue of him thinking that with the sperm morphology it wouldn't matter anyway if you had a perfect environment or not, rather than thinking your endo/prog is not a concern at all. So he's actually trying to save you wasting time? Or have a still got the wrong end of the stick? Hmm

Mummyofonesofar · 25/07/2015 15:16

Hi girls. 9DPO, thought I saw a slight line on a ic this morning. Like the sort that only appears once you stare at it for a while and go boseyed!

Bought a frer because I'm meant to be going drinking tonight. BFP!!

MissMartin10 · 25/07/2015 17:49

so happy for you!

DizzyMerry · 25/07/2015 18:55

Just seen your news on the bus mummy. Congrats once again.

That's his thinking auf but I'd rather have the diagnostic checks done to rule out other issues. DH is on supplements so hoping that will make a difference. IVF is the last resort for me.

MsGlitterJunkie · 26/07/2015 10:55

mummy congratulations! This is brilliant, happy happy news! Flowers

I am 12 days dpo, trying to ignore the symptoms I've been having....desperate to test but clinging on by my fingertips holding on until Tuesday - assuming af doesn't catch me first!!

Southy84 · 26/07/2015 15:06

Yay mummy wonderful news!! I'm so so pleased for you! Congratulations! x
