Boo to AF mistletoe, although do send her my way when you're done... CD38 Angry

Liking the "before November" vibe! Keep positive lovely ladies Smile

Think I'll be giving ttc a rest for a couple of months if I've not managed to get upduffed by Sept, as work is just hideous from Sept to Nov and I think the pressure of both might send me craaaaaaazy! I don't want to step off but I also set a six month limit of going it alone before seeking help as I'm +35yrs. Wow that feels weird to say that aloud (as it were) but that's where I am right now. Confused

chandelierswinger · 16/07/2015 12:30

GL for your scan tomorrow AbFab!

PontyGirl · 16/07/2015 19:08

chandelier fx crossed that it happens for you before September... I got pregnant with DD at actually the most inconvenient time in terms of work and getting pregnant was on the bottom of my list (new job, moving house, got a dog!) and my GP who treated a lot of women with PCOS said that for some bizarre reason, her patients tended to get pregnant at really busy/inconvenient times in their lives! God only knows why. now is actually really inconvenient for me so if it would happen that would be great!

TMI question - I've had some EWCM - except it's not clear, it's creamy/yellow?! Is this EWCM or?

battenberg123 · 16/07/2015 20:22

Chandelier that's a good plan, not to put too much pressure on yourself is a good idea I think!

Ponty you never know it may happen that way again for you! Now isn't a good time for me either really as I'm moving jobs at the end of the year and currently have nowhere to live that isn't a rubbish 1 bed flat! oh well!

When I get EWCM it's clear with no colour and not creamy/yellow - maybe you will see some within the next few days as that kind of CM normally precedes EWCM in my experience Confused

PontyGirl · 16/07/2015 20:34

battenberg okay hopefully it turns to actually ewcm soon!

chandelierswinger · 16/07/2015 21:20

ponty I agree with battenberg. Mine usually starts like that before the big stuff comes in!! Exciting stuff!!!

Ive just read back what I wrote earlier and I am worried I've come across as picking and choosing when to fall pg, which obvs doesn't work in reality, and I am worried that made me sound insensitive Flowers. I really would LOVE to have a baby on board at any time; wouldn't be all? T'would be awesome. What I mean is I won't be able to focus on the shenanigans of tracking, tablet taking, poas-ing and enforced shagging! I plan to (come sept) take the laid back approach with bedroom antics as and when we feel like it, without any pressure. I simply won't be actively ttc. Sorry if I sounded blasé earlier ladies. This journey is tough at times.

PontyGirl · 16/07/2015 21:48

chandelier I don't think you sounded blase at all! this whole process takes a lot out of you, there's so much more to consider/do. I totally get what you're saying. TTC is taxing in so many ways.

I really hope the real ewcm starts soon!

bananafish81 · 16/07/2015 22:10

Chandelier you don’t sound blasé at all!

We’re all TTC regardless of whether it’s our first time or not. Keeping fx for you Smile

In real life my friends who are my age have only really started having babies in the last year or so, and lots of my older friends didn’t start till late 30s. But realise the London bubble isn’t necessarily representative - on MN I feel really old compared to all these spritely young ladies in their 20s TTC #1!!

I'll get my zimmer frame, haha

bananafish81 · 16/07/2015 22:14

I'm 12 DPO and my temp has dropped, and I'm feeling quite emotionally fragile and a bit crampy, so I think AF is on her way. Obv a BFP would have been incredible, but as I wasn't ever expecting to lay an egg, having an actual period is a massive result. So hopefully I'll be able to have my Day 2-4 bloods done on Monday, and then see consultant 10 days later to have another scan (NOT less than 2 weeks after coming off the pill!) and see where we are with my ovarian reserves and AMH.

My friend who's a GP reckoned it sounded very much 'like a COCP effect' (combined oral contraceptive pill) so I'm really really hoping it's that, and not that my fertility has plummeted between the age of 28 and 33!

I have to say though, it's been YEARS since I had a natural AF and bloody hell I don't know how 'normal' women do having periods every month?!!

chandelierswinger · 17/07/2015 13:52

Okay so I'm bleeding, lightly but enough to warrant a pad...

chandelierswinger · 17/07/2015 13:53

And then there's this...

TTC with PCOS (Thread #2)
chandelierswinger · 17/07/2015 13:53

WTF?!?!?! Sooooo confused Confused

battenberg123 · 17/07/2015 13:56

Maybe a chemical Chandelier Confused I want to say BFP but I don't want to get your hopes up!

chandelierswinger · 17/07/2015 14:02

My thoughts also... I'm now on CD39, so 19 days since my +ve OV test so, assuming I OVd after 36 hours at latest (CD22), I'm now 17dpo (longest poss). It's def not a BF anything as the line isn't strong. Will be purchasing more to retest in coming days...

PontyGirl · 17/07/2015 16:08

chandelier I can't see pics on the app, but I hope you're okay! keep us posted

mistletoeprickles · 17/07/2015 16:46

chand how much blood is bleeding? Spotting or proper and the colour? Sorry for the horrible questions. I had a chemical last month, I started bleeding on 16dpo and it was very dark and just generally a different kind of bleed.

But plenty of women have bleeding in early pregnacy and all is fine, me included with DD.

Let us all know Thanks

Nothing to report here except 2nd day of clomid so any time now I can expect to turn into a horrible crying mess Hmm

chandelierswinger · 17/07/2015 16:52

Thanks ponty and mistletoe

mistletoe Proper blood but lighter than my normal CD1. Light cramping too. Have no other symptoms other than a cold and a cold sore on my nose!!! (Obvs not of related!!) I've been very lucky not to have any bleeding with my previous pgs but I can't help but feel this isn't right. DH said to go to Dr but not sure when/what to say!

chandelierswinger · 17/07/2015 16:53

Obvs not pg related...

chandelierswinger · 17/07/2015 16:55

Ps. mistletoe FXd for an easier ride with the clomid this month!

mistletoeprickles · 17/07/2015 17:20

With mine the positive tests were never that clear. It's totally upto you what you do.
I had a phone consult and blood later just to make sure I was still pregnant but like you and as you will see down the thread somewhere I knew it wasn't right.
As its the weekend maybe test again and see what happens Thanks

PontyGirl · 17/07/2015 18:59

banana completely second the feeling of a period feeling like an achievement! but yes, I have them so few and far between that when they do come I question how I coped when I was younger! Painful!

Dollface136 · 19/07/2015 08:54

Hi ladies! Am back from Menorca. Just catching up on what you are all up to.

chandelier that is super confusing. No advice but fx for you to have some answers soon.

banana I totally hear you on the normal af front. They are awful BUT seem like such a reward to us pcos ladies don't they!

According to my charting I ov'd on CD25 (2 days earlier than last cycle) and should be on 4DPO today. We'll see what happens in 10 to 12 days time but DH and I dtd every other day since CD12 so even though we didn't hit the mark on my ov day we did it the days either side. FX!!

battenberg123 · 19/07/2015 09:09

Hope you're okay Chandelier Flowers

Sounds like you've been super busy dollface you must have worn your DH out ha ha!

I have finally bought some OPKs and think I got a positive one yesterday - but I have been doing them first thing in the morning as that's the only time I haven't pee'd for ages, not sure if this is the right way to do it!

mistletoeprickles · 19/07/2015 14:57

batten I believe the general advice is after noon, As we naturally have FSH in our bodies the first pee of the day will have a higher concentration which could give a false positive.

chandelier any news?

bananafish81 · 19/07/2015 16:08

Hi ladies

Hope you're all doing well. Bit of a TMI question about AF, especially for those of you who've been on the pill in the past. I've been spotting the last 2 days, AF was due today, and with my temps dropping I know it can't be implantation bleeding and a late BFP. I expected to get a more 'normal' AF after being off the pill - I've always been light but this is ridiculously light, much lighter than when I was on the pill (when they're supposed to be light). Pantliner is more than adequate, tampon definitely not needed. Could this be a pcos oestrogen thing? Will ask my consultant when I see him for my scan, but not sure what to count as CD1 - as he'd said not to count the first day of spotting as day 1, said CD1 was the first day of proper red flow - which made sense as have always had that before. I'm gonna just have to take it as a light AF and mention it to the nurse when I go in for my day 2-4 bloods tomorrow...wondering if things are just messed up having so recently come off the pill. Although if I did O then I'd have expected an actual period to follow 14 days later!!

Anyone else had this?!
