Thanks for all the lovely messages ladies.

banana I totally agree with you and had no idea you would have to fill in a form like that, so ridiculous. I think the very fact of all you are putting yourself through to have a child should shout how good you guys would be as parents. I hope now the forms are done your appointment goes well on Thurs. Will keep all crossed for you getting some positives in your life!

Sorry to hear you are having so much discomfort mistletoe but I think bloating and cramping are a good sign! At least they always have been for me! So dose up on choc and hot water bottles and fx for you!!

RoseBud2015 · 01/09/2015 15:20

Hey lovely ladies! I will catch up properly later (I'm at work being naughty at the moment) but just HAD to tell you all my news because I need someone to tell or I will burst!

Had my 3rd follicle tracking scan on 150mg clomid this morning and my 15mm follicle on Friday has increased to 26mm!!!! AND the sonographer found another 20mm follicle that was tiny on Friday! She turned to my DH and said.... I hope you are ok with having twins! Grin Grin Grin

Trying desperately not to get carried away- but I'm really really hoping this is it! Just need them to burst now- my ovary is so damn tender!

Dollface136 · 01/09/2015 16:58

Go Rosebud that is awsome news!!!!!! Grin
I'll be throwing buckets of babydust at you. So happy for your good news. Time for DH to step up to the plate haha.

Newby32 · 01/09/2015 17:02

Amazing rosebud have everything crossed for u! Smile

RoseBud2015 · 01/09/2015 17:30

Ok, I'm home now so can stop being so self-obsessed and catch up on everyone's news!

Isit How are you feeling now? Have the emotions calmed down? Any sign of a positive opk yet or ov signs? I am willing you on as a fellow 150er! Smile

Ponty Where are you off to on your holidays and when?! I'm so jealous- feel like my holiday was months ago now! That holiday feeling leaves so quickly when you get back to work!

Newby When are you due to POAS? I'm so hopeful for you! x

Fee Glad to hear the referral is underway! My best piece of advice is to chase the referral after a couple of weeks and phone for a cancellation once you get the letter through- I did this and got an appointment 4 days later rather than waiting 4 months!

Mistletoe I hope you are feeling better and that ovary of yours has done its job! When will you know for sure if you've ov'ed? I'm willing you on too, we are due at least 1 BFP! I'm massively bloated, and crampy on one side, too! It can only be a good sign- something is happening! x

Banana Yep completely agreed with you about the forms. Why is it that we have to justify our need/right for a child yet there are women all over the country getting pregnant left, right and centre without planning to and without having the financial means to support themselves????!!!..... life is deeply frustrating, upsetting and unfair sometimes. Thursday is nearly here though! x

Freddie Sorry about the BFN Flowers What dpo are you? Is there still a chance? Have they only identified ov as a problem for you or is there male factor too? I think if there was male factor issues involved too I would be tempted to go straight to IVF, but if its just ov and clomid is rectifying that, than I would keep going with the clomid for a couple more cycles. x

Thanks Dollface and Newby- desperately trying to keep things in perspective and failing miserably Grin.

The sonographer did say that with such severe PCOS the follicles could turn into big cysts and not release an egg. Although she said everything was heading in the right direction (lining has gone up to 6.9mm now too) so fingers are tightly crossed at least one of those gorgeous little follies will burst! I have a blood test booked for next Tues now to see if I do!

OP posts:
RoseBud2015 · 01/09/2015 18:35

Ok, so I've done some Googling (I know, I know- bad decision) and have read that 26mm+ follicles are too big to release decent eggs as they will overly mature. Does anyone know anything about this? Banana?

OP posts:
bananafish81 · 01/09/2015 19:35

rosebud FUCK YEAH!! So so so pleased for you, that is bloody awesome, your ovaries are rocking! Keeping fx for you and hope you guys catch that egg (or rather those eggs!!) Wink

bananafish81 · 01/09/2015 19:39

Hmm Rosebud sorry our posts overlapped! Well I know in IVF terms that it is possible for eggs to over mature and this can affect egg quality when it comes to fertilisation / embryo quality, but I don't know a) if that applies to natural conception and b) what they threshold is for 'over mature'. I think the fact that nothing was mentioned at the scan and the nurse even mentioned twins when looking at both follicles suggests she didn't think it was likely to be an issue for you - she will doubtless do tonnes of scans and see all sorts, so if she didn't say anything, I reckon it's all good! Xxx

stealthbanana · 01/09/2015 20:15

hello everyone! am just catching up on the thread but hope you are all well

well i'm back from my FANTASTIC holiday - no news to report on the preggo front. We did lots of DTDing but I don't think I oved this cycle - I was doing OPKs every day and they were all negative and I didn't get any EWCM etc - although it was very hard to tell as it was so hot and steamy (35C and 99% humidity) I was incredibly dehydrated had to stop OPKing on CD25 as I gave myself a borderline UTI so I couldn't really not drink any water for 3-4 hours as I would have passed out. Currently on CD36 and not a sniff of AF and no unusual symptoms other than a constant ache in my left side (which I think is that borderline UTI still hanging around) - will POAS just to go through the motions tomorrow morning but I'm reasonably confident I didn't ov. (I did have some EWCM a couple of days ago but surely you can't ovulate on CD34 and DH was away so even if I did there will be no baby resulting from it). Anyway, we'll see. Hopefully I get a period by CD55-60 and then can do my Day 21 ov testing next month - and if it's no ov again, DH and I have decided we want to go straight for Clomid.

Will now read the thread carefully and catch up - fx for lots of good news

chandelierswinger · 01/09/2015 20:54

Will catch up properly another time but came on to say a quick WOO HOO to Rosebud Getting shagging Mrs! And Flowers for Freddie

(I've finally finished by antibs and went back to work today, which was easier than I expected. Also arranged my gynae appt for late Oct. Moving forward, toe by toe...)

Rufus200 · 01/09/2015 21:38

rosebud congrats on the follicles growing. I have everything crossed for you. Make sure there are sperm in your tubes before you ovulate as well as when you do. I do believe in the law of attraction and told myself repeatedly that I was pregnant.

I'm having a boy, very obvious on the scan but the panorama test also confirmed it. I do have a 3-d pic which my Dr surprised us with at my 16 week scan, didn't know they could be done that early or that the Dr had a scanner capable. Haven't put it up as I didn't want to upset anyone.

chandelierswinger · 02/09/2015 09:48

Rufus A boy! Star How wonderful! I'd love to see your pic Smile

Newby32 · 02/09/2015 09:53

Congrats rufus that really is amazing news SmileStar

Dollface136 · 02/09/2015 10:15

Yay Rufus how lovely so happy for you! I didn't even know you could get a 3D scan, how cool! Would love to see it if no one else minds xx

Rufus200 · 02/09/2015 12:00

He was kicking his feet so part of it is blurry but you can see his little nose and his hand is up on his head.

bananafish81 · 02/09/2015 12:18

rufus wow congrats, just stunning! How wonderful - thanks so much for sharing Smile

Freddiesmother · 02/09/2015 15:37

welcome back banana so pleased u had a good time. I am away at the moment as well and its lovely trying to relax but every time I see a baby I almost cry!

Rufus congratulations a boy how lovely! had you planned to find out the sex or was it just really obvious?

Rose are you having a day 21 blood test to see if you ovd? and did they give you a trigger injection?

I am 12 dpo so I suppose there is a minuscule chance.. I always test a bit early and then again when I am supposed to I know its silly but it helps me mentally prepare for a disappointment.

RoseBud2015 · 02/09/2015 18:46

Rufus fab scan pic! Congrats!

Freddie I am having my bloods done on Tues to see if I've oved. My temps are high and I had stabbing pain in my right ovary (the one with 2 large follicles) yest eve. So I'm hoping I did ov! No positive opks though so who knows.
You're 12dpo..... test tomorrow?!

We have had a lot of sex and AI (for when DH is feeling the pressure this morn) so fingers crossed!

We are off to South of France tomorrow for a long weekend..... I know, I know ANOTHER holiday! Get them in while I can, is my philosophy! Anyhow I'll set up the new thread in a mo so its ready for when this one runs out.

Have a fab weekend all! X

Thanks for the new thread Rosebud You're a total legend Star Enjoy your hols and let those swimmers do their job Wink

Having a bad day today... Back at work thinking normality would help and ended up bawling with (yes, she joined in!) my amazing boss. I was meant to be on leave whilst I was in hospital/recovering, but she's told me to take it as sick leave and rebook my leave. And it was an order. Smile Silver lining in my cloud...

chandelierswinger · 03/09/2015 16:26

Crap, posted by accident!

Freddie I always seem to test too early. Didn't get my BFP in July until I was 19dpo! I'd tested at 10dpo Blush and again at 12dpo, then at 14dpo when I gave up!!

Rufus Lovely, clear photo! Hello baby boy!

IsItIorAreTheOthersCrazy · 04/09/2015 14:23

mistletoe do we have news? Are you feeling better?

bananafish those HFEA form questions are ridiculous! How did your appointment go?

freddiesmother Flowers for your BFN

Rosebud I need an update on your follicle!
Hope you're having a fab time on your holiday.

stealth your holiday sounds lovely! And what a treat to dtd because you want to not just because you need to!

rufus your scan pic is lovely Smile

chandelier your boss sounds lovely. How are you feeling today?

I'm on cd 16 and I haven't had any signs of ov yet. Last time my boobs were really sore and my hormones were mad, but not so much this time. I'm a bit worried, but looking at last cycle, I counted cd1 as a Monday when AF started on the Sunday evening and had my day 21 bloods on cd22 which then showed ov so maybe I ov quite late? Aaahhh it's all so stressful!
I have a week off work now which is good, and my preseed has arrived. The instructions say to use 3 grams but that looks like loads? Help!
