Hi everyone Smile
mayo - you've got so much willpower, I'd have caved by now!
haquoi - glad you're feeling much calmer. As others have said listen to your body and get lots of sleep, your little bean needs all the energy! Thank you for fingers crossed too, means a lot, glad you haven't forgotten Saturday's party!
finding, good you've got your sister to talk to about ttc, yes the clonid is definitely doing that to your ewcm

diamondsparkles · 11/06/2015 12:31

Or clomid even!!

Mayo - that sucks. This group is a godsend in terms of support.

In a way I do feel a bit like I didn't prioritise having children and focussed on my career. My family would never say that to me though. They are waiting with baited breath for a BFP from either me or my sister. I do have moments when I feel overwhelmed with regret about my wasted years.

doomkittycleo · 11/06/2015 13:10

Can't believe I'm only 3dpo, this 2 week wait is really dragging. Also dragging cus I'm going on holiday next Friday.

KateR1980 · 11/06/2015 13:31

I haven't wasted years on my career, just took me a while to find the right bloke!

findingmyfeet12 · 11/06/2015 13:48

I've been with my DH for over 10 years. We kept putting it off for work reasons.

findingmyfeet12 · 11/06/2015 13:48

How long have you been ttc Kate?

fuzzywuzzy · 11/06/2015 13:52

Same here, I'm glad I have my career, that way I can give my DC a good work ethic, I love my job I enjoy working I need to utilise my brain in that way also want DC.

My only regret is I stayed with ex for so long out of a mistaken sense of obligation.
Wish I'd left sooner and met DP sooner. But due to circumstances I don't think I would have met him/been interested as it took me a while to come to terms with my life and be at peace with myself. Also he was in a relationship a few years ago and then needed to get over it/her.

So actually this is the best time, & I am sure we will all get our BFP's.

Won't ever regret building up my career and holding on to my independence (would have ended up dead at ex's hands if I hadn't).

Doom, you're so lucky I hope you get your bfp on your holiday! I need a holiday.

doomkittycleo · 11/06/2015 16:32

We're going away with the in-laws and they don't know we're trying so if I get my bfp it could be interesting. :-)

Red193 · 11/06/2015 18:38

Argh! fertilty friend is saying I've not had a temp spike so I haven't ovulated but I had a faint positive opk Tuesday and a strong positive today but nothing today. I'm now not sure if I have even ovulated this month!

doomkittycleo · 11/06/2015 19:09

Red opk doesn't count as positive until the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line. I heard you say in an earlier post that you'd had a faint positive.

Test again tomorrow. X

Rememberallball · 11/06/2015 19:16

Red, you can get a surge of LH which is picked up by the opks but not actually ovulate (I had a very strong +ve opk last month around cd14 but

Rememberallball · 11/06/2015 19:23

Kate, if your username is your DoB year then you're a youngster in comparison to oldies like me (nearer 45 than 40!!) I only met dp last year, we get married in 12 weeks time and are waiting for a referral to the gynae at the local hospital as we've been trying for 10 cycles now!!

This group is such great support - and one of the few places I feel comfortable saying some of the things I do here!!

doomkittycleo · 11/06/2015 19:58

I must be a baby then. I'm 28 DP is 43 though. Smile

Red193 · 11/06/2015 22:02

I'm just confused. All my temps have been taken between 6/7am except on the 7th when it was taken at 7.30am. All my temps are the first thing I do in the morning before I get out of bed. Alarm goes off and thermometer goes in my mouth! If anyone can make sense of my chart...

findingmyfeet12 · 11/06/2015 22:40

I've never charted temp and know nothing about it - sorry to be of no help Red.

Doom, you are a baby compared to me. I won't pretend I'm not green with envy.

KateR1980 · 12/06/2015 04:56

Yep, username is the year I was born, so 34.

This is our 4th month ttc

doomkittycleo · 12/06/2015 06:32

My maternal grandmother went through menopause when she was 38 so can't risk waiting Confused

Red193 · 12/06/2015 06:35

So after my meltdown last night this happened this morning...

doomkittycleo · 12/06/2015 06:51

Yay see not to be smug ?? but I told you to wait till tomorrow. Glad you're had your thermal shift. Did you BD again between your positive opk and now?

We have DTD every day so will do it again tonight before DH goes to work and I will set my alarm for 6am tomorrow to take my temp again and to have a slap up fry up waiting for him so we can get another shot in before he goes to sleep and I head off to his mothers to collect our Foo Fighters tickets and let him have some much earned sleep. Still confused as to exactly when I ovulated because by the look for the chart I ovulated on Tuesday but I had all my usual ovulation symptoms on Wednesday! Help?

Mayo - fingers crossed for you

doomkittycleo · 12/06/2015 09:01

Your temperature spike is after you ovulated so you should be able to give your DP a rest. One more time won't hurt if your in the mood tho.

fuzzywuzzy · 12/06/2015 09:19

Doom you're the guru of temp charts, I can never understand mine, luckily mostly I can feel when OV happens (maybe not so luckily it hurts).

Mayo, that sounds promising, when will you test?

Red Good luck on tww.

I'm still waiting for AF to leave grrr lol, I am going to try SMEP altho not sure DP and my schedule coincides enough for it to be effective this month.
