Thanks doom! Hope you're feeling better and more positive xx

doomkittycleo · 07/07/2015 22:49

I'm feeling a bit better since the weekend. Just have to accept that I'm out for this month as didn't BD successfuly at all during my fertile week.

Went to the gym on Monday and for a run today and it does seem to have helped a little.

Only thing is I've felt gassy and bloated since the weekend, I initially thought I was starting with a stomach bug but haven't been unwell at all. I'm wondering if it's a side effect of the vitamin B complex as that's the only thing I have done different.

fuzzywuzzy · 08/07/2015 02:41

doom, you're not out till af shows.

Fyi, being gassy is one of my early pregnancy symptoms. Fingers crossed

doomkittycleo · 08/07/2015 06:41

I am out if we didn't BD this month. DP hasn't finished in me since last af and I'm now 5dpo.

fuzzywuzzy · 08/07/2015 07:09

Sorry doom I didn't realise.

According to my cbfm I'm in my 'high days' now. I'm trying not to feel a bit fed up with it.

doomkittycleo · 08/07/2015 07:13

It's ok Fuzzy there's been a lot of posts on here, it's easy to miss one.

I know, when you have peak days it's so hard not to obsess over the next opportunity to BD. I wish DP could take all of the control back, if only he understood better.

Try to relax and think about how much you fancy him so that making babies doesn't take over the bedroom activities.

Rememberallball · 08/07/2015 07:42

Morning all. Hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather!!

We're getting on ok this month. Got time off together as dp had words at work about them giving him a ridiculous rota (is meant to work 4 on 4 off but was getting 2 on, 1 off, 3 on, 1 off - and not off the same days as me!!) Let's hope it makes a difference! !

1 week into Clearblue study and tomorrow we start opks and doing smep again!!

birchygoo · 08/07/2015 08:57

remember that sounds like it will be much better for you. fx his work sticks to it!

Excited to get going for this month?

Unfortunately I think af is on the way for me. Woke up with terrible cramps this morning

fuzzywuzzy · 08/07/2015 09:40

Doom I know what you mean about wishing your DP would take back control of bding I feel that too, am almost tempted not to bother this month, but then each time af shows that's upsetting too.

Birchy when is af due?

Remember good luck.

Rememberallball · 08/07/2015 10:54

Thanks ladies. Yes I am excited to get going this month, am glad dp is happy to give things like SMEP a go - even asked me when we started counting days to starting again and was excited to know tomorrow is d8!!

I'm also a realist and know we're likely to be in the same position next month when we go to see the gynae consultant in her fertility clinic and will be heading for ov or in the tww. I'm praying that my issue is just veing anovulatory and that she can fix it with medication! !

birchygoo · 08/07/2015 11:05

fuzzy it was originally due tomorrow but I ovulated late and ff then pushed it back to be due on Sunday. So anytime after tomorrow maybe?

Still bloated and cramps. No af just yet. Just tried to feel for cervix and can't reach it - so assuming high. Have been able to feel it before but don't regularly check as find I can't reach up far enough during ovulation etc

Does anyone else have this problem.

doomkittycleo · 08/07/2015 20:04

I have the opposite problem. My cervix seems low hard and closed every time I've checked.

doomkittycleo · 08/07/2015 22:09

Ok so new topic, in preparation for a better month of trying next cycle I have suggested giving the smep plan a go. He has agreed.

However am aware that when I get into my fluffy slippers and dressing gown as soon as I get home from work it doesn't help get things going.

So in order to help get him in the mood next month I am looking for inspiration for casual but sexy outfits for a weekday evening during fertile week.

I'm thinking of a shopping trip to make some new purchases ready for August.

Any suggestions.

fuzzywuzzy · 09/07/2015 10:43

I also like getting into my PJ's when I'm home, what I've started to do is wear sexier clothes around the house (not glaringly obvious), but nice clothes, and then in the evening I change into comfy but flattering PJ's like this, so not try hard but clean comfy and makes me look (and feel) good.

Would something like that work for you doom?

doomkittycleo · 09/07/2015 13:40

I would wear something like that as my pj's, but trying to not get into pj's until later in the evening. What sort of sexy clothes do you wear around the house in the daytime?

fuzzywuzzy · 09/07/2015 14:05

I know what DP likes me in so I wear clothes that accentuate what he finds attractive, so either clingy full length dresses which I know I look good in (once made dinner wearing a very clingy dress -think Morticia Adams style, and he couldn't keep his hands off me!), even jeggings, with pretty tops.

You know what your DP find's attractive, play up to that, but keep it low key.

doomkittycleo · 09/07/2015 17:03

I know he likes anything that accentuates my waist and he is quite fond of anything made of lace.

Will see what I can find.

Thanks

Red193 · 10/07/2015 09:32

Hi ladies,

So I definitely ovulated on Tuesday but not DTD since Monday night because I am exhausted and DH shifts have been late all week. With the tube strike yesterday it just capped off how rubbish this month has been so I am not hopeful this month

fuzzywuzzy · 10/07/2015 09:42

Red, you're still in, if you managed to dtd before you ovulated, a day before is a good chance, think up to four days before providing you have fertile cm, you can get pregnant.

Has Birchy posted, think she was next to maybe test fingers crossed.

doomkittycleo · 10/07/2015 16:32

My ClearBlue study pack has arrived. Ready to start using next cycle. For the first time in months I can't wait for AF to arrive so I can get started. I've also ordered some softcups and conceive easy lubricant as well well.

Say it with me "I will get my BFP!"

diamondsparkles · 10/07/2015 16:53

Hi ladies Smile
Sorry for my recent quietness- I have been lurking a bit and thinking about you but it's been a difficult week. Af due tomorrow but all negative tests this week so it's not my month yet again. The witch better hurry up and arrive now as I am emotionally drained this month and need to focus on next month. I've just been to doctors on another matter and asked what the position would be if I went and asked for help as it has been 13 months now ttc our second and we wouldn't qualify for any help as I thought but he would give me medication to help ovulation - I presume this would be clomid - so I am to go back next month. Which I am pleased I asked, gutted it's come to it, but if it helps then that would be amazing.
doom - I did the clearblue study! I liked the freebies! Definite positive thinking now....
we will get our bfps
red - I second fuzzy - you're still in. Sorry you've had a rubbish week though.

Rememberallball · 10/07/2015 16:55

Excuse my density, doom, but what are softcups?

doomkittycleo · 10/07/2015 17:22

Remember and Diamond you didn't warn me how big the study kit is. Think DP nearly had a heart attack when I opened it Grin.

Remember Softcups are designed as a menstrual cup. But many women have had success putting them in after BDing to hold his semen close to your cervix to give his swimmers a better chance of reaching their destination. I figure, that plus conceive easy lube has got to help.

diamondsparkles · 10/07/2015 18:00

doom Grin Grin that has made me laugh! I'd forgotten how big the box was!! I was lucky when mine arrived, dh was out so he didn't see the full extent! It was a pain trying to store all the stuff though!

Rememberallball · 10/07/2015 20:48

Thanks for expanding my knowledge, doom!!

The box is big - imagine me picking mine up from the local depot (for some reason, despite asking me for an alternate delivery address, the research company didn't put it on the delivery info so no-one was available to accept it). I don't know how big I was expecting it to be but not that big!! It's now adorning our sitting room floor while the box in use is in the salad drawer (we don't keep salad in there usually just cans of soft drink!!)

Good thing I moved the letter from the hospital with my appointment details earlier on; it made me read the second page telling me to bring DP with me (he was already coming), that I need more bloods doing - repeat d21, d2 (not done that date in cycle but done right bloods previously), a chlamidia swab, a smear in last 3 years and rubella antibody test. Also need a copy of DP's semen analysis results as they don't have my name on the ones already done.

Oh, and I need to lose a few lbs before the appointment which is a couple of days after my Hen Do!! I'll do my best on that front but can't promise I'll be successful! !
