Then you need to discuss with your DP if he wants to TTC.

When I say pounce I mean obviously being up for it, DP calls it pouncing. I don't force myself on DP (incase that's the impression I gave Shock ).
The one time DP pushed me away I told him I wasn't ever going to initiate again as I felt utterly rejected and horrible. I've kept to it, and I'm pretty sure DP misses it.

I did discuss TTC right from the start with DP, he is all, lets see what happens etc, but he has said he doesn't want to know when I'm ov'ing, so I have never told him.

Maybe not BD tonight but suggest Friday as it's been a while or something?

It's so frustrating isn't it.

Lovelyjubbly95 · 02/07/2015 10:28

Well i resisted testing today....af due either today or yday ... If it doesnt turn up will be testing in the morn :/

doomkittycleo · 02/07/2015 13:25

We've discussed it loads and he's up for it. But he's like a woman, it takes more than a bit of sexy underwear to get him going.

He says intelligent conversation does it for him. I find that boring.

Lovelyjubbly95 · 02/07/2015 15:15

Is that a line i see?!

I'm fed up and confused. I got my first +ve on opk (lines almost the same colour) this morning. Now I have just found sticky cm. I had a lot of ewcm last weekend but opk's have been negative until now.

DP is currently asleep having a nap and I don't know if it's worth trying to BD now I have no ewcm Sad

fuzzywuzzy · 02/07/2015 18:54

Do you chart your temperature Doom? I think I tend to ov the evening before I get a positive opk, I can feel it. You might wake up in the morning with loads of EWCM, try your luck tonight.
I so want to read about your bfp this cycle. Good luck.

doomkittycleo · 02/07/2015 19:04

I don't chart, I used to chart a few years ago but was working shifts at the time so couldn't do it every day. I have lost my thermometer and the one I had bleeps which might wake up DP.

I worry that doing my temping would make him more aware of when I am ovulating more so and that might stress him out.

Don't even feel like BD ing anymore.

Lovelyjubbly95 · 02/07/2015 19:48

Thanks everyone :) hope to get a deeper line tomorrow with fmu and surprise the dp :) starting to feel quite nervous tho due to previous mc....

Rememberallball · 02/07/2015 21:55

Congrats in advance of your repeat hpt tomorrow, Lovely.

I'm most definitely out this month as AF put in an appearance (or as DP puts it, Liverpool are at home!!) However it does mean I'm now officially on the Clearblue trial as of today.

I'm going to get d21 bloods done again this month in advance on my appointment with the fertility clinic in 6 weeks time. It means I'll be going armed with 3 months tests with a month inbetween without testing. Every month has had an LH surge but temps are all over the place and I don't get much cm so struggle to recognise it.

I think I might say to dp lets just let this month happen without really 'trying' to conceive and wait for the hospital appointment to come round.

hewy · 03/07/2015 09:15

Hi everybody. I threw in the towel three weeks ago...completely fed up with symptom spotting and felt stressed and down about the whole thing. I logged in once because I wanted to hear your news but felt too sad to keep thinking about ttc all the time. So this cycle did nothing-no opk, no testing, stopped taking my folic acid (bad idea) and this morning I got my bfp!! Didn't even have a test in the house so had to phone do to pick one up on the way home. So just wanted to thank you-despite me giving up, you were all definitely the only ones who understood how hard life is while ttc and I think you all are awesome.
Congratulations lovely - I'm delighted for you. Due mid March?
Diamond, doom, red, fuzzy, finding, rememberall, Mayo and everybody else: keeping dtd as often as possible and I pray you get your bfps too. xxx

fuzzywuzzy · 03/07/2015 09:51

Yeay Hewy, congratulations, and also Mayo has her bfp too, Smile

Think happy thoughts for the rest of us :)

Lovelyjubbly95 · 03/07/2015 10:40

findingmyfeet12 · 03/07/2015 10:41

Huge congratulations Hewy and Lovely. There's definitely something in the water on this thread.

I started my final batch of clomid last night. It kept me awake all night again with a horrible burning sensation in my chest and abdomen.

fuzzywuzzy · 03/07/2015 10:58

finding is that a side effect of the chlomid? Have you taken anything for it?

I hope you get your bfp this cycle, good luck.

Lovely that is such a nice test, have you told your DP yet?

Lovelyjubbly95 · 03/07/2015 11:16

He is on his way home tonight and the test is waiting for him to see :)

findingmyfeet12 · 03/07/2015 11:30

Yes it is caused by the clomid.

We had some very helpful advice from a doctor friend "don't think about it, just relax and it'll happen" - thanks for that. It's difficult to relax when your popping pills morning and night.

fuzzywuzzy · 03/07/2015 11:37

Lovely come back and give us his reaction wont you please?

Finding, I think people are trying to be helpful, I've ad the just relax it will happen, easier said then done isn't it. I've not had any experience of chlomid so could be wrong, would eating yoghurt calm down the burning sensation? I find it works for heartburn so maybe?

Seriously want your BFP more tan I want mine. Really truly good luck for this cycle.

doomkittycleo · 03/07/2015 18:56

Ok so my sister's birthday cake is finished ready for tomorrow's party ????

What do you think?

Institute of bodies doing strange and unexpected things, but we're still gonna get our Bfps! (the loveliest group of hand-holders you ever did meet)
Lovelyjubbly95 · 03/07/2015 21:12

Fuzzy he is happy and excited but doesnt want to go too carried away jst yet....

doomkittycleo · 03/07/2015 21:48

Ok so tonight has ended in me crying uncontrollably. DP and I managed to BD on Monday and today, although today I tried for ages to initiate things. Thing I've already ovulated but after Monday just wanted to try anyway.

Problem is even when we have managed to do it DP has been unable to finish the job.

He keeps saying not to worry and he's just stressed with work, but I can't help feeling really unsexy.

He's gone out for the evening and I'm off on the spa day for my sister's birthday early doors tomorrow. Won't see him until tomorrow night for the evening part of the Birthday party so won't get him alone till Sunday.

He's being really understanding and supportive but I can't stop crying. Sad
