Hi everyone,
I'm new here but have been watching the posts for a few weeks now and thought I'd introduce myself.
I'm 30, married my DH 5 months ago but we've been together almost 12 years. TTC#1 cycle 1 cd 18
Last year I manged to loose over 3st in weight and now have a healthy bmi of 25. I go to the gym at least 3 times a week, DH has also joined and goes 1-2 a week. We have both given up caffeine and I'm taking the seven seas 'trying for a baby' multi vitamin.
Any extra advice on boosting our chances is very welcome.

Welcome PallasCat x
Anyone testing anytime soon?

Snowflake16 · 13/06/2015 16:19

Hi all, feeling very mixed emotions today. A friend at work had her second baby this morning and of course I'm thrilled for her. But I'm also very jealous and a little bit sad.

Completely understand. I never thought that my first reaction to family member or friends news of pregnancy would be a feeling of sadness. But it has. Happiness soon followed but it's that first "why not me".

Hi everyone,
Hope you don't mind me joining but I looking for some advice so here goes.... Me and hubby are ttc#2 for the past 2 years we have had three miscarriages since last one being in feb! My cycle went back to normal in march so we've been ttc since as we've been told all is ok and it's just bad luck! So anyway we dtd on O day and which came thurs. And these have been my symptoms;
2dpo; really emotional total breakdown husband came home to find me crying because I've lost a lot of weight recently and none of my clothes fit!!! (I'm not a cryer usually)

5dpo; literally for no more then a minute a lot of pressure in my lower back also serious sense of smell insulted my mom as she had put plant fertiliser in her garden (fish blood and bone) and I told her her garden stank of fish Blush

6dpo; TMI sorry but brown spotting first thing when wiping small amount of in underwear through the day this is something I have never experienced mid cycle preg or not

7dpo; little bit of jelly like cm in underwear sorry more tmi a little crampy too

8dpo; mild af like cramps

9dpo; (today) heaviness in lower back and achy low down by csection scar crampy aswell, ok more tmi slimy cm with slight streak of blood

I'm really confused I don't wanna test just yet but I'm unsure if these signs are promising or not as I haven't had any of these symptoms before!! And also I'm taking hubby away next weekend as a surprise for his bday and I really want a few cocktails so I'm unsure as don't want to risk it.

I hope all you ladies get a bfp sticky baby dust to you all Grin

Hi lilbirdie don't have advice as I'm a first timer but if you're getting spotting and unusual CM then I would say test, if it's out of the ordinary for you. I'm resisting looking at cramps/aches/emotions for symptoms, as I think when you're TTC you (well, I) have heightened awareness of such things and will look for them to by signs, but physical symptoms and evidence you should look into it. FX!

Lilbirdie · 13/06/2015 19:51

That's exactly my thinking because I do think that had I not of had the spotting I wouldn't read too much into it as I think it's easy to over think things I'm really trying to resist the urge to test until next week but it so hard!!

BrownBirdsFly · 13/06/2015 22:01

Hi all,
Sorry it's taken a while to get back. I got a peak on my clear blue ovulation monitor on Friday 5th June... I'm trying to hold off testing for just a few more days, but will keep you all informed. I have no idea if I'm pregnant. I've had sore boobs but that could be AF!

Don't know about you lot but I think you read these 'early pregnancy symptoms' online and I suddenly you them all!

Fingers crossed and baby dust to all! Xxx

BrownBirdsFly · 13/06/2015 22:03
  • suddenly you have them all even!
Lilbirdie · 13/06/2015 23:16

I'm the same if someone said to me now your right foot is bigger then your left foot was a symptom I'd be like you know I'm sure my foot looks bigger Grin hopefully we all get bfps soon!

PallasCat · 14/06/2015 14:47

How's everyone doing? Anyone testing soon? x

Sizzle81 · 17/06/2015 22:08

Heard on the radio this morning how women that are 35 should consider freezing their eggs! Like we need more pressure to conceive Angry
I'm out for this month as NO sex at all in the days leading up to and during my fertile week (according to my app) so I've bought some ovulation tests (just to try them out) for next month. Now just wishing for AF to get here so we can get started again!

PallasCat · 17/06/2015 22:59

Sizzle ugh... Hmm

BrownBirdsFly · 18/06/2015 21:42

PallasCat · 19/06/2015 16:48

Aww sorry BrownBird... not over til AF though? x

BrownBirdsFly · 19/06/2015 21:02

No you're right. Waiting for AF before I open a bottle of wine (just in case) feeling a bit down about the whole thing. Why is everyone around me suddenly pregnant! Xxx

Snowflake16 · 20/06/2015 13:59

I know the feeling BrownBird, a friend had a baby last week, I'm going to a baby shower for 2 more who are due July/August tomorrow. Then I know of 2 others who are due in Dec.
Trying to stay positive did a opk this morning and it came up positive so I'm hoping this will be the weekend for us. Smile
