Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Smile

Trinpy - I'm sorry what??!! Your neighbour who has kids came over to complain that your toddler was keeping them up. OMG is all I can say to that Shock What cheek!

Mumof1sofar · 06/06/2015 14:23

Glad your af is back ispy Smile

Thank you pear & Ava. I got my static smiley on mon so I guess I am now 4dpo!

Trin sorry for the bfn & also the rude neighbour. Hope you get a better night tonight Thanks

peardrop2 · 06/06/2015 14:44

Mumofone - when are you expecting AF? Does that give you a nice LP?

peardrop2 · 06/06/2015 14:44

Just realised that I don't think there are many of us left on this thread now!

Leamice · 06/06/2015 18:20

Hi ladies, sorry not posted for a while. Been feeling really down about ttc, still DTD EOD like a nutter though Blush
Today, when I wiped (sorry tmi alert) there was peachy/ pink creamy CM ! Omg, excited, I'm hoping AF is back after her 6 month break! Fx!
Mumo, I think if you only have positive opk for 24hrs then next day is 1dpo but if still positive then the next day would be 1dpo? That's what I count anyway.

Mumof1sofar · 06/06/2015 18:45

Lea, sorry you're feeling down. I hope your af is returning (or it's implantation Wink)

Pear, that should give me a luteal phase of 12 days... Hopefully enough time?

Trinpy · 06/06/2015 19:53

Mumof I read (during my extensive research on the subject Blush ) that the most common day for implantation is 9 dpo, so a 12 day lp is definitely enough Smile.

lea nice to see you back though sorry to hear you've been feeling down about ttc. I know how tough it can be when you've been trying for a while. I hope this is the start of your bfp cycle, or at least regular af!

pear I was thinking this morning that it was very quiet on here now. I think there's only 5(?) of us now. When we all get pregnant this month we'll have to close down the group Shock Grin.

Thank you for all the kind comments too. We noticed earlier that ds was chewing on his fingers a lot so we had a little look in his mouth and one of his back teeth has just broken through the gum, so that was probably what was going on last night. At least we will be prepared if we have round 2 tonight (fx not!).

Leamice · 06/06/2015 20:56

Ha! Implantation bleeding that made me chuckle, if only lol!
Thanks mumo &Trin. Hope your DS isn't too disturbed by his new tooth tonight

ispyfispi · 06/06/2015 21:22

Lea-I've never been so pleased to see AF either, hope this is it for you! I've been on such a weird high today like some womanly fertility goddess ?? I know it'll get old real quick though! think I tend to ovulate early so will get dtd as soon as AF leaves and am quite excited to be able to charting properly.
Trin I hope you have a better night, overtired is the worst, we had a night like that recently too, not fun....

Leamice · 06/06/2015 21:29

ispy love that you are feeling like a fertility goddess. Were you charting or taking opks before your AF came today? It's good to finally have a starting point to temp from I bet. I so hope I wake to some more spotting or even full blown AF would be lovely. Wow, who'd of thought id ever call full blown AF lovely?!

peardrop2 · 06/06/2015 21:42

Lea - if you've been dtd eod then why do you think it's not possible for it to be implantation? Wink I reckon it is.

ispyfispi · 06/06/2015 22:00

I know right, Lea! I'd been obsessing over every slight tinge and nearly fell off the toilet when I saw red ?? I did buy a bunch of ic opk sticks but after a whole month it was pretty obvious I was wasting my time -and money- so they've been sitting in the drawer for months now. My cycles were pretty predictable before so hoping for a swift return to that.
Forgot to say, no my first 2dcs didn't self wean but only required gentle nudges at 20mo and 18mo respectively. I was young and naive then and thought they'd wean themselves at about a year ?? and it took that long to actually stop. This time though I'm more confident about extended feeding, which is just as well as dc3 is nowhere near ready to stop -my boobs might be though-

Leamice · 06/06/2015 22:10

I've been temping and taking IC opks and Hpts Blush (I'm an actual poas addict), I did get positive opk 2 weeks ago but no temp rise, opks are still positive so reckon my body just can't quite OV. But if AF is coming, maybe it will reset all my hormones. Tbh, the DTD EOD is more to feel like we are doing something but really I know we can't "try" properly until my cycles start again. But hey, this could be them coming back. Exciting, I hope CD1 hurries up cos assuming cycles are back to normal, I don't Ov until CD20. Long cycles are great unless you are TTC haha!

ispyfispi · 06/06/2015 22:22

Oh I'll totally admit to randomly doing a HPT every now and then just incase! I think it's because you spend so many years trying to avoid getting pregnant and unprotected sex=baby right?! It's seems absurd that you could be dtd so much and not getting a bfp at some point, never mind the tincy fact that you'd need to actually ovulate first!

peardrop2 · 06/06/2015 22:57

Is anyone else really suffering from pre ovulation spots? I've switched to a lighter face cream but my forehead suffers every month. I was hoping the reduction in sugar would help this month!!

peardrop2 · 06/06/2015 23:11

Hard to see the photo of Prince George and Princess!! Wishing I had that photo Hmm

ispyfispi · 06/06/2015 23:20

Yes I've just seen it too Hmm

peardrop2 · 07/06/2015 07:00

Not that the photos aren't gorgeous but you know...????

Trinpy · 07/06/2015 07:07

I was a bit Envy about that photo too. Especially since my ds looks a lot like prince George no, I didn't shag Will - it's like seeing into the future Grin.

AvaAmulet · 07/06/2015 08:07

Hi ladies, nothing to report but felt compelled to post my complete and utter Shock at Trinpy's neighbours Angry Angry Angry hope you told them where to go Wink Hmm x

Mumof1sofar · 07/06/2015 08:56

I saw that photo too Envy

Lea have you done a hpt recently? Pos opk can also mean pos hpt... Just a thought!

Trinpy · 07/06/2015 18:59

Oh yes lea maybe you should poas?

Ava I was too embarrassed at the time! She obviously thought we were leaving him to cry because when I apologised and said we were doing everything we could she said 'oh so you can hear him cry then? Because he sounds very distressed'.

waxweasel · 07/06/2015 19:17

Trinpy, we had a similar situation back in September....DD was having a pre bedtime meltdown because I (or rather, my boobs) had momentarily departed as I needed a glass of water and a wee.DH was in bed with her singing and cuddling her but she was having none of it. She was literally crying for 2 minutes while I nipped to the kitchen and the toilet, then instantly calmed down.
Ten minutes later the POLICE arrived and insisted on being let into her bedroom to examine her and check she was ok, as they'd apparently had a 'concerned passer by' complain about a child crying for 20 minutes. Wtf?! Even if she had been (she hadn't!) how is a baby crying at bedtime anything to call the police over?? I was LIVID.

Leamice · 07/06/2015 19:44

Omg Wax! I can't believe police came for a crying baby... Don't they have murderers and racists to catch?!

I and been taking IC Hpts, got bfn thismorning.

I really like the pics of princess Chaz and her big bro - so cute but yes, I'm so jealous!

Trinpy · 07/06/2015 20:16

There must be a very low crime rate where you live wax Grin.
