Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Smile

Good luck with the dtd marathon Ava!

Pear - I definitely sympathise, especially as there was a big envelope for reading if you became pg! Oh well, at least we got some good CB products out of it! Plus that large container for weeing into before pouring it into one of the pots will be really handy when we are pg & have to keep giving urine samples! No more icky holding a tiny pot & trying to aim into it!! Blush

eggsnbeans · 02/06/2015 02:20

No good news from me I'm afraid Sad couldn't get to gp over weekend then did another preg test and much fainter line. So looks like it wasn't viable anyway Sad just pissed off as I should have been ovulating this weekend and now that's not going to hapoen for ages, at least 3 weeks after my hcg gets to 0 and I'm not even there yet! Kinda relieved the test was light though as at least I know where I stand now Hmm

Well done on holding off on bf Ava Smile it's really tough when they're pulling at your top and posturing for bf!

Sorry the CB trial didn't work out Pear Sad fx for a bfp without it this month!

Good luck with the smep one current! I would love to do it too but we are far too old and just about manage EOD Blush

AvaAmulet · 02/06/2015 08:18

Sorry, Eggs Flowers x

Thanks, it's so hard because I know she enjoys bm more than any other beverage lol she actually nods her head and says "mm, tasty!" now Blush

She went to bed later last night and didn't wake up all, all night, for boob! Shock Smile

I think I'm still feeding too much to get a bfp tbh (4 times per 24 hours) but I'm going to persevere with ttc and the weaning, and I'm hoping it'll happen at some point over the summer Wink

peardrop2 · 02/06/2015 08:44

Eggs - Oh I'm so sorry Hmm Do you think you had an early mc then?

Mumofone - hah hah I did not use that potty. It's too much for me Grin Makes me feel like I'd be on a commode! I'm so looking forward to sending the last batch this week! Still, not all wasted as I still have 9 sticks left. How many flashing smileys did you get before your static smiley this month?

Trinpy · 02/06/2015 08:51

Sorry to hear that eggs. I hope things settle back to normal for you soon so you can continue ttc.

Welcome to mrsm. Af returned for me at 10 months but I was still feeding 5-6 times a day.

I'm on 8 dpo and this tww is draaaaging by Angry.

Onecurrantbun · 02/06/2015 09:09

Mine too trinpy... I'm holding out as long as i can to test after a bfn at 7(!!!!!!!!!!) DPO like a total knob

Welcome mrsm, my periods have just come back at 14m. After DD1 they came back at 10m but were irregular and we actually caught the first ov I think, at 16m. Kellymom hasssome great resources about transitioning to full fertility

Mumof1sofar · 02/06/2015 11:16

So sorry eggs Thanks

Trin & one fx this is your lucky month!

Haha pear! This month I had 2 flashing smileys then a fixed ?? We managed to dtd this morning before dh left for work!!! Don't want to jinx it but I'm feeling quite hopeful about this month. At least we've managed to dtd a lot more than last month.

peardrop2 · 02/06/2015 20:11

MrsMum - my AF returned at 14 months and I stopped bf at 22 months. At 24 months (now) my body seems to be returning to normal length cycles but still no bfp as yet. It took 4 months for me to get pregnant after coming off the pull so it's been the same with bf. I'm just hoping this time it takes 3 months and not 4 (this is my 8th cycle of proper trying).

peardrop2 · 02/06/2015 20:12

Mumof1 - wow that's improvement! Looks very hopeful Smile

AvaAmulet · 02/06/2015 21:03

sorry in advance for the massive 'me' post Blush

I'm pleased and amazed to announce two firsts for us - a 10 hour stretch over night with no feeds AND another 10 hour gap between feeds today! Shock DD announced "Done!" after only 2 mins on the boob this morning, then we were out all day and DD didn't mention boob until this evening! I've gone from handing out 6 prizes yesterday to none at all today! Grin

Needed to replenish my boobie prize stash after yesterday so went to Smyths and, if anyone needs any tips, this is what I got -
-The obligatory sticker books (in abundance!) some were a bargain at only £1
-A 24 pack of play-doh for only £12.99 and I have wrapped every one individually Wink
-A massive box of play food for £14.99 - I have divided the items into 5 separate containers from Ikea to make 5 individual gifts (DD loves playing with her Little Tikes kitchen and makes DH 'dinner' while mama's cooking - not sure which meal daddy prefers tbh Blush Smile)
-A 4 pack Disney princess jigsaws for £4

I've wrapped everything in a variety of colourful wrapping to make them look as appealing as possible including mickey and minnie (her fave) wrapping paper - so I don't think she'll be able to resist - fx Wink

I've got a v.early start and late finish tomorrow as I'm away on a work thing, so I'm hoping to avoid the morning feed altogether. Still feel like we're a long way off completely weaning but I'm so pleased we're making massive progress Star

Oh, visited my cousins newborn boy this evening now DD is coming round to the idea that she might also be ok if we were to have a boy. Thank goodness, as it would've been quite difficult to guarantee a girl lol Grin

Sorry about the massive list - just hoping it helps someone who might be in the same situation?? Confused

Trinpy · 02/06/2015 22:03

Wow Ava well done on managing a 10 hour gap! I'm sure dd won't be able to resist all those prizes Grin.

One I once poas at 5 dpo (it was a difficult month Blush) so waiting until 7 dpo is being extremely patient imo Grin. When are you testing next? I'm trying to hold out until Saturday.

AvaAmulet · 02/06/2015 22:17

Good luck for Saturday, Trin Grin fx for you x

It was a bit embarrassing at the checkout in Smyths though, I was trying to be discreet with the packing so that DD didn't see all her suprise gifts and the assistant asked when DDs birthday was.... I was, like, "Erm...." Blush

Mumof1sofar · 02/06/2015 23:19

Ahh Ava, thanks for sharing. They sound like fab ideas Grin Lucky dd! I hope it continues to go really well.Smile

Onecurrantbun · 03/06/2015 08:34

Haha Trin AF due tomorrow and I think she's en route :( I'm not too upset as I am bridesmaiding in September and think that being 16/18 weeks pregnant may have been pushing it to fit into the dress!

Love the "boobie prizes" Ava what fab ideas. We are lucky in that since she was 1 we haven't fed at all in the day, and last night she slept from 8pm-5am!!! Longest ever! Only took 16 months Hmm

Pear I read that it took you "4 mknths to get pregnant after going on the pull" .... fast work!Grin

Mumof1sofar · 03/06/2015 13:40

Ah sorry you think af is on her miserable way, one. I hope she stays away for you!

We have just dtd again (nap time!) Haven't done it this much in 1 month in ages so I'm hoping it helps! I read somewhere that each month assuming that you dtd at the right time there is still only a 25% chance of getting pg Confused

peardrop2 · 03/06/2015 13:47

Did anyone hear that bang? That was my AF leaving Grin Bye bye AF!! Adios. Have a safe journey and see you in approx 23 months! Take Care?? Oh and thanks for leaving 1 day early...so thoughtful Smile

Mumofone - stop right there...positive thinking. You're the 25%

One current - I hope you're wrong!

Onecurrantbun · 04/06/2015 08:00

Errrrr.... We may have to go bridesmaid dress shopping after all Blush

peardrop2 · 04/06/2015 08:26

One Current bfp?

I've put on 1/2 lb ShockHmm

Trinpy · 04/06/2015 08:27

Have you tested One? Exciting!

Onecurrantbun · 04/06/2015 12:08

Not particularly B or F but I think P. Will test again tomorrow

TTC and still breastfeeding? Thread #4: Pull up a chair for some support from others on the journey!
Trinpy · 04/06/2015 12:16

Congratulations One!!! I'm sure you'll be able to work around the bridesmaid dress issue Smile.

I caved and poas this morning but got a bfn so I don't think it's my month. Still going to test on Saturday but I've got my sights set on a July bfp Wink.

Leamice · 04/06/2015 12:37

Congrats One!! Smile

AvaAmulet · 04/06/2015 14:45

YAY!! Congratulations, OneCurrent - I'm at work so can't be too long on here, but just to remind me, how many times, if at all, are you still feeding? TIA Grin

peardrop2 · 04/06/2015 15:04

Congratulations One! Yes, remind us of your stats please Smile

AvaAmulet · 04/06/2015 15:27

Sorry about the typo, OneCurrant Blush

Bought 2x two packs of First Response pg tests from Boots in my lunch break on a bogof and I had a Boots advantage coupon for 2.50 off healthcare, so I got 4x tests for 7.99. Now,

I must not poas before AF is due
I must not poas before AF is due
I must not poas before AF is due etc etc ......

I haven't even entered my fertile window yet and I'm already certain I will worrying about wasting my tests... again.... Blush Hmm
