Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Smile

So I've given myself a UTI by not peeing after dtd obviously ???? Ow ow ow! Managed to dtd the 2 days of fixed smileys and the day before. I don't think I will manage again today plus we have a houseful of people this weekend. Made myself a doctors appointment and then cancelled it as I don't won't to be taking drugs if I've just fertilised an egg. It hurts soooo much though ????

Oh I spy! Ow! Are you drinking cranberry juice? I wonder whether you can have those sachets that you can buy in the shops? Definitely worth looking to see if pregnant ladies can have them. They have helped me so much in the past! Also, googling what pregnant ladies do in this situation? If it's still bad tomorrow then get yourself down to a Boots pharmacy and just tell them you may be in the early stages of pregnancy and what do they have to offer pregnant ladies?

Found this...

In order to relieve pain from cystitis, you can use a heat pad or a warm bottle on your tummy. Alternatively, you can sit in a bath or a shallow bucket filled with warm water to ease the pain. Do not add anything else to the bath, unless your doctor suggested it.

Forget the cranberry juice! Forgot that is for preventing not fixing! Drink gallons of water to flush it out though!

Thanks guys. I've just been drinking gallons of water, some with baking powder and some with ginger, both supposed to help apparently. Most cranberry juice has too much sugar in I think which negates the benefits. I'm sure antibiotics are fine for established pregnancy but I'm just being cautious as those first few days are so critical. Not that I'm likely to be pg anyway.

ispy - my sil had a uti when she was pregnant and her gp prescribed her the safest antibiotic to take during pregnancy. If it doesn't get better over the weekend it might be worth speaking to your GP to see what's available?

Quit temping, quit poas, but....cannot..quite....quit....Google!!! Lol Blush my random findings from tonight includes the 'fact' that you are 9 times more likely to conceive twins whilst breastfeeding! DD being reluctant to wean just yet might just work in my favour Shock I'd love 3 DCs by 37 and if this means getting a double whammy next time as per DHs dream then bring it on! Wink x

Either I've ovulated (at long last) or my body has completely given up on working this month Hmm. If it happened it was either Thursday or Friday. I think probably Thursday which means my timing was off this month. Dammit.

I really got my hopes up this morning. I thought I saw a faint line on my CB stick...well there is a squint second line. So, I went and brought a digi and a Superdrug Frer and both say BFN Confused Yes I'm 11dpo. AF hasn't showed up yet. I wish I had waited until 12 dpo now!

You might just have implanted late pear?

I've been Googling (I know, I know) and it's looking extremely unlikely that I would've conceived this cycle. Hopefully things will go better next month .
