Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Smile

Oh, Wax, I did mean to also say that it took until 16 dpo for Duchess to get her bfp on here. When is AF due for you? As long as AF stays away I'm keeping my fx (and everything else) for us both Wink x

waxweasel · 27/06/2015 09:44

Oh Ava I'm so so so hopeful for you!! Honestly, if you get bfp this month it will make my month too, and really take the sting out of my own bfn! I have everything crossed Smile

I'm pretty convinced it's bfn here as I got bfp with DD on 11 dpo...not sure when AF is due as my cycles are so irregular, but probably sometime from tomorrow (cd33) - Wednesday (cd 36). At least I'm off work at the moment sorting house stuff and have lots of nice things planned to distract me! Next month will be harder.....

AvaAmulet · 27/06/2015 10:24

GAME OVER

Allowed myself a little tear; Going to spend the next cycle focussing solely on the amazing little girl I am already soooo lucky and grateful to have, I will continue to check in daily to follow your progress and cheer you guys on, but I won't post as much as I won't have any updates from me; Cancelled the pg test from my grocery order for delivery tomorrow; Going to get cracking today with my new weight loss goal for my hol in a couple of weeks (now that I no longer have an egg to keep warm Sad);...... now I just have to break the news to DH.....xxx

AvaAmulet · 27/06/2015 10:28

My dream of 3 kids in the back seat seems to slipping further and further away, but if it's not meant to be, it's just not meant to be Sad

waxweasel · 27/06/2015 11:44

Oh Ava, I'm so so sorry. Definitely good that you're having a break next month and can just focus on enjoying your holiday and your lovely DD xxxxx

Trinpy · 27/06/2015 11:49

I'm so sorry Ava. I was really hoping that this would finally be it for you. Enjoy your break away from ttc Thanks and Wine.

Leamice · 27/06/2015 12:52

So Sorry Ava Flowers

Leamice · 27/06/2015 12:59

Also, sorry for your bfn wax and The 14th flashing smiley ispy!

peardrop2 · 27/06/2015 14:18

Ava - Hmm I'm sorry too! I really had high hopes for you this month! I will miss you ALOT on here!! I understand though why you need the break etc. it's really really hard to keep going through the 2ww torture and then to see AF month after month. I hope you don't stray for too long Wink

Nothing to report from me. Only 4dpo. Feel absolute nothing at this early stage. I don't know why but I don't feel hopeful at all but fx. I'm about to do a stint of gardening which will take my mind off things.

ispyfispi · 27/06/2015 17:39

Oh Ava I am sorry. It's the uncertainty isn't it, of not knowing how long you might be waiting. Maybe next time will be twins though, you never know! I hope your dh has taken the news alright and is being kind to you.
Enjoy your month off, I'm sure it will pass quicker than you expect ????

peardrop2 · 27/06/2015 18:22

Ava - sorry I forgot to ask earlier...out of interest did you have a longer or shorter LP this month and how many days was it in the end? Thanks Smile

AvaAmulet · 27/06/2015 18:42

Aww thanks everyone x

I napped with DD today while DH did some more of the Wendy house and it was lovely, just what I needed Wink x

Yes, it's the not knowing and the fact that I have no control whatsoever where this is concerned too - I'm a super organised and efficient person so it doesn't sit well with me lol. I love this thread as all of you ladies just totally understand Smile

My LP was 13 days again, so, as predicted AF arrived 3 days late due to the fact I, for whatever reason, ov'd 3 days late. I wish I wasn't always right about these things Hmm

I always remember DH having a very vivid dream when we first got together. He doesn't usually dream, and never remembers them if he does. He dreamt that we were living in a house (on the same estate we ended up moving to Shock) and I was sat in a large car (we now have a cr-v) doing my lipstick in the front passenger seat with twin girl babies in car seats behind me, while DH chased after a girl of about 3 around the car. The name he was calling her is DDs middle name, but I didn't make the connection when I was naming her. I do try to hold into that memory now though. It would be lovely if it came true x

Good luck everyone and thanks again x

Zinnher · 27/06/2015 21:10

Hi, I m BF Dd who is 18 months and showing no signs of wanting to stop.AF returned 3 months ago. I have pros too so thin inking it will take a while to conceive again. Will hang around to pick up some tips.

Zinnher · 27/06/2015 21:12

Pros not pros

ispyfispi · 27/06/2015 21:30

Pcos Zinn?! No experience I'm afraid but welcome Smile

Ava, as if there'd be time for lippy with twin babies ???? but how strange. I so recon that'll be you next year. My dsis has twin girls and it's not as bad as you might think, infact she somehow makes it look easy ????

Zinnher · 27/06/2015 22:37

Yes Ispy pcos bloody phone.

Zinnher · 27/06/2015 22:37

Thanks for the welcome

waxweasel · 27/06/2015 22:58

Wow Ava how strange! I agree with ispy - that'll be you next year Smile such a lovely vision! And so bizarre that your Dd ended up with the same name...

I spent today at a party for one of DD's friends - all with new second babies. Cue lots of questions about whether I was broody yet Sad

AvaAmulet · 27/06/2015 23:24

Makes you want to slap them doesn't it, Wax I'm not usually a violent person, honest Wink

Welcome Zinn, and good luck on your journey x

peardrop2 · 28/06/2015 07:39

Ahhhhh Wax, I also want to fish slap them on your behalf Wink (also not a violent person in RL) xx

Ava thanks for your LP stats. That's a brilliant LP you've got there. Mine is never longer then 12. I think it was 11 last month but Ff says it was 12. Ive had a lot of 10s these past few months Confused

peardrop2 · 28/06/2015 07:40

Ava and your dream is spooky! Lipstick made me lol though because you'd never even think about lipstick at that point, surely Wink

AvaAmulet · 28/06/2015 08:55

Well, that's what I told DH 10 years ago when he had the dream, but time will tell, I guess - how crazy would it be if came true and I caught myself in the moment and thought, 'Well, I'll be damned, I'm still wearing my lippy!' Lol Grin

A 12 day LP is still good, Pear - great that it's increased from 10 Smile x

I'm definitely more weepy hormonal this cycle, so fx that it's a good sign along with my seemingly fixed 13 day LP that my hormones are finally getting back to 'normal' despite still feeding a few times a day Hmm

Gosh, it was lovely not to take my temperature this morning Wink

waxweasel · 28/06/2015 09:18

14 dpo and no AF yet...expecting it to crop up today or tomorrow though Sad

But we're making amazing progress on weaning! Dd has been day weaned for a good month now, but has been feeding loads through the night. So DH has had her in his bed for the last two nights and he bought a special thermos bottle so he can give her milk if she wants it. And as a result, she now hasn't bf (or even asked for it) in....drum roll....51 hours!!! No feeding since 6am on Friday!!!

AvaAmulet · 28/06/2015 11:32

Oh Wax, that's fantastic news, so pleased for you. You'll get your bfp any day now, I'm sure Wink

We are still a long way off complete weaning Confused

Zinnher · 28/06/2015 14:29

My DD has upped her feeds. Whenever sjge sees me she tries to feed. Reminds me of the newborn days. She is a picky eater too so I am reluctant to stop as well as I feel at least she is getting calories from the milk
