I stick a pillow under my bottom birchy otherwise sperm come trickling back out. Makes the whole thing less messy :)

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed things go a bit odd since I started ttcing, 88. I totally agree with wish: I thought I knew what was going on with my body each month, but it's a real education. I just traded my period tracker app for fertility diary, which updates according to the symptoms you input. Brilliant! So while period tracker has me ovulating at the end of the week, fertility diary thinks (based on a high, soft, and open cervix with watery cm) I might ov today!

birchygoo · 18/05/2015 20:48

ahh night I will try that! dh will prefer that he gets so grossed out lol bless him

I've started smep yesterday! I'm excited to see how this goes bfp due 10th June!

Carltonlives · 18/05/2015 20:56

dizzy I'm sorry I'm not sure what a retroverted uterus is! Although if you think doggy style would be best but it hurts, can you do most of it another way and then just finish off doggy style? Might work. I might on the other hand be talking crap haha

mamma thanks for explaining about the cervix, I don't believe I can feel mine though? Maybe I just can recognise it, is it quite obvious where it is? I have tried a few times in the past and have never been able to find it at all. When I had a sweep last time I was pg I he to put my fists underneath my bum to lift my hips so they could find it - but that may be irrelevant cos I guess it moves in pregnancy anyway

wish I'm sorry I don't know what LPD is either [useless]

Southy84 · 18/05/2015 20:57

dizzy I was told at my smear test last month that I have a tilted cervix, I mentioned to the nurse that we were ttc and she said definitely lay on your stomach after, I'm so glad I told her we were ttc as I never knew I had this! And yes apparently sex from err herm ...behind is good, Weve been trying on our side though and then I turn onto my stomach. It's all got a bit technical!

Southy84 · 18/05/2015 20:58

Ps not sure if tilted cervix is the same?

DizzyMerry · 18/05/2015 21:23

Southy it is the same thing. The sonographer said 'retroverted' so that's what's stuck in my mind. I will definitely be lying on my stomach after dtd.

Carlton I think maybe the endo I had was partly to blame for the pain so I think I might give it another go and see what happens.

Thanks for your input night.

Wish what is LPD?

loopylou1984 · 18/05/2015 21:25

I'm guessing but is LPD - luteal phase defect? Xx

pulpi · 18/05/2015 21:25

Luteal phase disorder, maybe?

Brooke113 · 18/05/2015 21:51

Afraid I don't know anything about a tilted cervix to offer any words of wisdom dizzy last time I was pregnant I got told I have a tilted womb, but nobody went in to details with me.

Still got cramps here, not as bad as they have been, but still there, feels like Af is about to come, that's the only way I can describe the pain. Off to bed now, to try and sleep. Catch up with you all.tomorrow.

Hope Af stays away for those who are due in the next few days x

loopylou1984 · 18/05/2015 22:08

'Jinx' Pulpi! X

loopylou1984 · 18/05/2015 22:09

Hope you feel better soon Brooke. Xx

louwn · 18/05/2015 22:18

I was on the last thread but didn't comment much as hadnt actually started trying. Have had sex 6/7 days last week in my 'fertile phase' (just using an app, nothing more fancy as yet!) so 2ww begins now. AF due on 30th so a week on Saturday.

DizzyMerry · 18/05/2015 22:19

So LPD is luteal phase defect? Wish do you have a short luteal phase? I think plum posted some great advice about this a few pages ago. She mentioned vit b6 and soy isoflavones. Where is plum today and where's woolly?

Thinking of you carrot.

DizzyMerry · 18/05/2015 22:22

Brooke I hope you're feeling better soon.

Mumof1sofar · 18/05/2015 23:03

Forgot stats...

32, ttc#2, cycle 4, bfp due 14th June

Good luck to all this cycle Smile

pulpi · 19/05/2015 07:14

Dizzy & Brooke, my mom had a tilted womb (not sure if it's the same as a tilted cervix, though). She said it didn't have any impact on fertility, at least for her, as she apparently "got pregnant just by your Dad walking past the end of the bed." After kids, it flopped back to its correct position.

Carltonlives · 19/05/2015 08:26

Urgh. Had another dtd fail last night. Toddler woke up with her teeth again, just as we were about to get into bed. Can't bloody believe it. She was lying inbetween us all night so no chance this morning either.

I'm cd13 today, and haven't dtd for 4 days now. I've ruined it haven't I?

Oh, and just to add insult to injury, I woke up with a tiny amount of ewcm this morning Sad

Hope everyone else is doing better than I am

nightandthelight · 19/05/2015 08:34

Oh no Carlton :( How long are your cycles? Any chance you can dtd today? Hand toddler over to someone else for an hour? Appreciate that may not be possible!

OP posts:
DizzyMerry · 19/05/2015 08:42

Carlton It's impossible to dtd around unwell toddlers and I know exactly how you feel as it's happened to us a few times. Once DD woke up in hysterics while DH was still inside me so we had to stop!!! Are you using opks? You may still have a chance so don't give up. Hope your DD feels better soon.

Carltonlives · 19/05/2015 09:08

Not using anything to track at the moment and cycle last month was 31 days.

Can't really leave her with anyone else for an hour, by the time we drop her off then pick her up this evening it will be past her bedtime. Hopefully she feels better tonight, will get on it as soon as she goes down, even when she's teething she usually sleeps for a couple of hours before they wake her up. It was probably my fault last night really, I thought she was feeling better and went to sleep easily so thought we were safe to chill out in front of the TV for an hour or so before bed. I won't be making that mistake again!
Dizzy that must have been so frustrating if you're halfway through!

How is everyone else? How are you feeling brooke?

nightandthelight · 19/05/2015 09:11

Ok well with a 31 day cycle CD13 shouldn't be too late Carlton Grin

OP posts:
DizzyMerry · 19/05/2015 09:15

I don't think it's too late either carlton and fx you get to dtd tonight. It was frustrating but we resumed activity as soon as she fell asleep so all was not lost apart from our enthusiasm

Carltonlives · 19/05/2015 09:15

Really?!

I only just got a tiny tiny amount of ewcm this morning, does that usually happen after or during ov though?

DizzyMerry · 19/05/2015 09:22

If you've only just noticed ewcm then I would say that's an indication that ov is approaching.
